« Average hotel »

My booking request asked for a quiet room on a high floor. I got a room on floor 1, next to where they were renovating a room so I had drilling, grinding and hammering constantly until 7pm. The shower LOOKED good but the water pressure was so poor it took ages to shower. The rain outside was harder!

« A different experience but still very good. »

We usually stay at the Pullman when arriving in Madrid after a longhaul flight, but it was full so we booked at Novotel. We were tired so having a room ready early was most welcome, although it was noisy due to work outside. Reception were most helpful and changed our room and although not as nice as the first room, it was quiet so we were able to sleep. Everyone was helpful and breakfast buffet good, so our stay was much better than anticipated. Thankyou.

« Good hotel with shuttle bus to Madrid airport »

The hotel has a good location if you need to take an early flight from Madrid. It is easy to reach by public transport, as it is next to a metro stop, and it has a free shuttle bus to Madrid airport. The hotel itself is not the best novotel I have been at (oldish) but was ok. The only very negative aspect was the noise I could hear from outside (I was there on a very windy day), because of the not-so-good-quality windows. If I were going back, I would ask for a room facing the inner patio of the hotel, rather than the outside to mitigate this problem.

« After the Camino de Santiago we needed some good creature comforts! »

Excellent as always. Not our first time. In particular we always appreciate our last wonderful Spanish breakfast buffet before we fly home to Savannah, GA, USA. The front desk staff is always fantastic with a smile! Buen Camino!

All seemed clean, nice complimentary hot beverages and water. Chocolates also a nice touch. On the downside, the blind didn’t fully close and the water pressure was low in shower.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, very friendly reception and staff. I just was disapointed due to the bar neither with the room service offered wholegrain bread for the toasts or dinner. At the bar I only had the choice for toast with white bread or pastry and I do not eat neither both. I think you could offer some sandwiches too. For the breakfast buffet I would add other vegetable milk appart from soja and some fresh cheese like "burgos" or sheep/goat cheese and wheat free bread like rye/rice, as the gluten free choices were not very healthy choices.

Arrived at the hotel early in the morning but was able to check in right away. Room cleaned everyday, I did not miss of anything (bathroom things, coffee/tea, minibar). Staff was really helpful and reactive and able to provide great restaurant recommendations. Nothing negative, big thanks to the Novotel staff!

The rooms was perfect, but the commiunication with the staff was impersonal, for example one day we want to eat and they said, we are full went to the next hotell but we are customers to your hotell, they could to say that we must wait and when we asked the bus for the aiport one hour before to be sure they said it depends for the people, so whish was the reason to ask? We wait one and half hour to clean our table to the bar and to take order. The menu to the restorant was very poor.
