I had a fantastic time at the Ambassador hotel, great room with enough space to move around. Breakfast very complete. Fitness incl golf. Concierge service for all questions like arranging taxi, absolutely flawless Front desk service, special cleaning request (shift work, sleep during day, clean early or late) all very well received. One improvement for me could be the price of the buffet restaurant for dinner. I have enjoyed the Korean food very much, but the difference in the pricing between hotel dinner and having dinner outside the hotel drove me away from the hotel. This is in principle very nice, getting out of the hotel and enjoying the city. But sometimes after long day work i would like to eat in the hotel, but KRW 60.000 for a dinner is easily more than triple the amount you would pay outside the hotel. Apart from that, i absolutely love the hotel, the service and the location and i will certainly rerturn to your beautiful hotel

« Good hotel and good location in Gangnam. »

I have stayed 8 nights in the hotel and feel that it is a very good hotel in term of service and food. The breakfast is excellent with many choices and the consierge the lady and the man are excellent and very helpful for those who are in Seoul at the 1st time. The point that I am abit disappointed is that as a Gold member, they decided to upgrade me to 15th floor but unfortunately I am not allowed to use the lounge at 16th floor. It is the first time that I face this situation with AccorHotels.

When I checked in they told me they had "upgraded" me to a room with a king bed -- the only problem being that's what I had already paid for! When I called them out for LYING, they just pretended like they couldn't speak English well. Totally unacceptable!

The overall experience was great, hotel is comfortable and clean in general. The only comment I have is the AC system in the room. I booked a "standard room" but there is no control over the fan speed to ensure minimum air circulation in the room. It turn stuffy many time and I will need to get it change after a night in the room. I was then upgraded to "Superior Room" (Thanks to the front desk service crew), there is an improvement however the Fan coil unit in the room is still giving other problem, the noise generated by all the mechanism and valve was disturbing especially in the middle of the night. I will have to set the temperature to 16-17degC to ensure the fan does not turn off. This turn out very cold for us. Hope this can be addressed to make your guestroom even better.

Good value for money, friendly staff throughout including cleaning staff, loved the gym. One sour note is the need to advise guests you don't provide shuttle and the cannot catch the limo bus if they arrive late at night at ICN. It took me nearly an hour to find that out.
