Great hotel the I have used many times. The only improvement could be the breakfast. Appreciate it's a continental breakfast but sausages are a bit tasteless. It would be good to have a bacon available too.

« A dense-of-activity business week with relaxing recharging time @Novotel Grenoble Centre »

I enjoyed a lot my staying at this hotel, which is now a "must" when visiting Grenoble for business. It gave me the opportunity to recharge after a day full of activity. Particularly this time I enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, the location of the hotel, in the core of the public communication network (train + tram) and the Thursday late afternoon market of local and bio products, just running outside of the hotel. Not to forget the nice happy hour served by Mr. Dechamps

« Frequent stayers at Novotels worldwide. »

Very disappointing; from the diffident receptionist at check-in to the tired appearance of the hotel and shabby room, topped off with a mediocre dinner. The best thing about dinner was our very nice waitress. Poor tea making facilities in room, no milk (not even powdered) and only one black tea bag. The shower head had to be hand held as the fixing was broken and only half a toilet roll. Definitely not up to the standard of worldwide Novotels of which we have been customers for many years.

« Great Stay »

One of the top hotels in Grenoble if you value amenities and service. Hotel was clean and rooms well appointed. Staff is friendly and location near Grenoble train station is good and still pretty convenient to downtown area.

« Pillows to high and hard »

Everything was good except the pillows. No choice. They were to high and hard. I had neck pain and hardly slept. I used a large towel and pillow case to create a flatter pillow.

« EXCELLENT »

We stayed 2 nights in suite 915 It was fabulous! All was perfect , the suite was big, beds very confortable, breakfast excellent, and the team really nice We definetly come back here for our next trip

The accommodations were comfortable as well as practical for when I had to work from my hotel room. The staff were friendly and professional: every hotel worker, from cleaners to front desk personnel to restaurant staff, had a smile on their face whenever I interacted with them. That really does make a big difference for weary, jet-lagged travelers like myself. That you for that.

Overall it was pretty good. Some things to improve: 1. The room was really stuffy. I had to open my window more than once and eventually I just turned off the thermostat completely. Kind of annoying. 2. It would be really nice if every room at an iron + ironing board. It is really annoying having to ask every time for this.

The heating system did not work a proper way since during the second evening the room was extremely hot (about 30 °C) and the system continued to blow very hot air even the temperature was set to +5 C. The only way to stop the overheating was to shut down the whole system. Since there was no way to open windows in order to cool the room, it was very difficult to sleep in too hot room. It took at leat 5-6 hours before the room temperature was on normal level.

Very nice hotel, great location, excellent service (particularly when we needed a doctor at midnight). The bathrooms are a little dated but perfectly clean. Good value parking, if a little difficult to get into in a right-hand drive car! In summary, if you're staying in Grenoble and need to be near the centre and very near the station, do consider this hotel.

« A Nice family vacation in this Elegant Novotel »

Nice Elegant hotel for families with young kids. Excellent Location as well as friendly staff. My eldely daughter liked the interactive games table in front of the reception. They also offered nice small toys for the kids. A beautifully decorated Christmas Tree added more pleasure and fun to the place
