Nowadays one would expect a fitness room in a hotel of this price class - such a facility was unfortunately not available.

Welcome is very kind in perfect English language. Staff is friendly. Bar lounge is Ok for sitting an evening. Dining room is not cozy. Quality of food is low for a 4 star hotel; I try to avoid dining at your hotel. Wines are good.

My family and I stayed one night in Mercure Hotel Compiegne Sud on our way back from our holiday in France. The welcome was warm and as a surprise we stayed in a Privilege room which was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel parking is save because it's behind a electric fence. The hotel is situated about 10 km from the highway and supermarkets, gas stations and restaurants are nearby. The room was very quiet and beds comfortable.

My family & I stayed in a privilege family room. It was extremely comfortable & clean & just what we needed after a long journey. I would happily recommend this hotel & stay there again. Breakfast was also excellent & there was lots of choice & something for every taste.

We stayed here for one night and we have stayed at the hotel before. The check-in was fine and welcoming and the room satisfactory, although not as good a quality room as on our previous stay. We arrived for breakfast on our day of departure 55 minutes before the 10.00 am deadline. The reception we received was unwelcoming. We were advised to sit at one table in a room full of empty tables because the member of staff did not want to disturb the luncheon layout. We were not advised about the food on offer or the buffet arrangements. The buffet had not been replenished satisfactorily - the filter coffee urn was empty, the water for tea lukewarm and the scrambled eggs all gone. The reluctance to assist from the member of staff bordered on rudeness - a 'too much trouble and I've got other things to do' attitude. We spoke to the member of staff at reception about how unhappy we were when we checked-out and the receptionist was more interested in taking a phone-call than listening to us about our experience - another rude member of staff! The Accor strap-line is FEEL WELCOME - not on this occasion!
