« the room requires attention but the other elements of the stay were good »

the toilet cistern flowed continually so was a distracting noise during the night. The plug in the bathroom sink did not work. these things should be checked or noticed by hotel staff when servicing the room. this is not the first time I have experienced that sort of thing. The food is excellent and the staff very helpful. I was very happy with the other elements of my stay.

Overall very good. Two points to note. The creamer in the bedroom had passed expiration date and curdled in my morning tea. On two of the 3 days, housekeeping did not place new laundry bags and request slips.

« Our satisfaction could have been better »

Very disappointed that, after reporting at 8pm that the water cistern of the WC in our room was not working (the flushing of the WC pan did not operate), on going to bed after dinner in the hotel at 10.45 we found that it was still not working. Reception gave me a key to a near-by room so that we could use the WC in that room, my wife was not prepared to move rooms so late at night. As we had booked ensuite we had not packed dressing gowns so going in a public area was disconcerting. On checking out after a 3 day stay and complaining about the situation the Receptionist reduced or bill by €20 (about 3%) that on reflection was derisory.

« Nice accomodations, but room was too warm. »

Everything about my stay was good, except for the climate of the room, the gate for the car parks was not convenient, and the restocking of breakast buffet items. - Room was too warm. Climate control did not seem to function properly, or cool the room down. I did open my window for fresh / cool air, but then bugs were able to enter the room (attracted to lights at night), so I was forced to close it. - The gate for the car park is not convenient for entry and exit. When exiting, you need to get out of your car to activate the gate. - The breakfast buffet was not re-stocked after items were gone. I ate breakfast at approx 8:15 and yet the coffee (american) and certain other items were gone. During my time in the restaurant, those items were never restocked.

Good reception , bar and restaurant environment . Very low staff levels on 5.00 arrival ..... no one on desk or in nearby bar area . Reasonable room with nespresso and decent coffee cups . Still other PAPER cups for tea !

« Great stopover hotel »

Secure parking, English speaking staff, excellent food and clean modern rooms. The hotel is just Two hours from Calais and a great stopover when heading south. Car park is behind electric gates so fully loaded car is quite safe. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food, especially breakfast was of a very high standard. Very convenient for return to motorway.

« Perfect short stay »

Stopped at Compiegne on our way to Lille as we knew it was too late to continue driving. We had done a mistake during booking and booked one day before. Management there accepted to transfer the payment for our stay and didn't charge another additional night ! Hotel is close the the A1 exit and very clean !
