Very close to Paris’ main attractions and metro line 8-9 station. Renovated, clean and convenient room, but the room is a little bit small conpared to other 4-star hotel. Nice breakfast but not fit for 4-star hotel. Friendly service. Overall, my family were satisfied the stay.

Pros The hotel location is fine i.e. quite central Cons The main lift was out of service upon arrival leaving only the service lift which the staff assisted with The room which was initially allocated smelled damp but was changed to a better one The facilities were old and the breakfast was rather limited

« good location not bad »

only 1 front desk manager, taking a long time to check in and out lack of staff...night shift manager the male manager was good very good english and hard working even for room service he did himself and gave a good advice but i was not able to get a late check out at all because it's full but left the bags behind

My mum and I loved staying at the hotel. Staff very friendly, room clean and tidy and perfect location. The only down side for someone with mobility limitations like my mum is the need to carry the baggage. Even having lift there are some steps to take and maybe staff could be able to help when needed.

Not very satisfactory Received incorrect bill while checkout and when I told staff, they are not able to do anything Another incident was when I called room service to send some glasses at room, they told me to come to reception and collect it from there. This is really unbelievable.

« Smallest room ever given in a hotel of that rating. »

The hotel was overall what we had expected. However, we were given a room that was about half the size of the regular hotel rooms. It was basically the bed with about one meter of space around plus a bathroom. One could barely walk without bumping into each other. I was very suprised about this and first thought all the rooms must be like this. However, I found out on the day of our departure when I was able to compare the size of the other rooms that we had been given the tiniest room in the hotel. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. At least the room was calm and clean and friendly. Breakfest was good. Coffee was phantastic (Nespresso machine). However I was missing fresh fruit (there was just fruit salad). And the scrambled egg was industrial and had a slimy consistency, the usual standard fare you get in a lot of lower quality hotels.

« Comfortable hotel in central location »

Enjoyed a very comfortable short stay at this hotel. Rooms are small by ordinary standards but normal for Paris. The layout of the hallways is quirky too, with lots of steps and nooks and crannies to reach rooms over five or six floors. The rooms are well appointed and clean. My room was quiet and the air conditioning was much appreciated. There is a small lift which can just about hold two people and two suitcases but no more. Breakfast is served in small lounge on the first floor. I was delighted to find that inaddition to the usual continental selection, the breakfast buffet also offered bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes and maple syrup. The hotel is close to the Richelieu-Drouot Metro station and it is quite easy to walk all over central Paris from its location. There is a wide selection of cafes and bistros nearby.

Checkin and checkout was efficient. Depending on staff at the desk information or answers to questions could be confusing and frustrating. Angelo and Cedric were both wonderful, accommodating, helpful, and could be counted on for good information when needed. We were very disappointed that we were denied the request to change reservations from Mercure Paris Opera Louvre to Mercure Charles de Gaulle airport when a train strike impacted transportation used for weekend travel to Normandy. We had stayed at Mercure Paris Opera Louvre for 4 nights, and had planned to return to that hotel after the weekend in Normandy, but felt it would be more convenient to stay close to the airport as we found it necessary to rent a car from CDG area. Desk staff refused to cancel our reservation and change it to CDG because we had booked through Expedia. We felt this to be unfair because we were giving more than 48 hours notice, and we were rebooking through another Accor hotel.

« Very disappointing for a regular Accor Member »

I have been a regular Accor user around the world for many years. Although the reception staff at this hotel were lovely and the location was great, everything else about it disappointed me. The biggest disappointment, was that although I’d booked and paid in full for a Superior Twin SIX MONTHS before my stay, the room allocated to me and my adult daughter and the only room available on arrival was a disabled room set up for a single resident. Whilst I sympathise with disabled residents, I was extremely disappointed with the room as so much space was taken up to provide a huge wet room and separate toilet. There was nowhere to put anything orher than on rolling tables and I actually had to put a rolling table in our wet room to hold our toiletries and towels. We had 1 small bottle of water provided between us and the towels were tiny. Breakfast was adequate at best and as a Coeliac customer, the only gluten free bakery product was a stale madeleine. Certainly not tge Accor experience I was expecting for a very special and rare Mother/Daughter weekend

All your staff were helpful and friendly but especially the reception staff. On Saturday night the gentleman on reception was a great help with suggesting a restaurant for dinner which was perfect, we greatly appreciated help with that. Loved the shower.

We rented 3 rooms for 3 nights. 2 rooms were great, the third on the third floor, room 323 I believe (at the end of the long hallway) had an unusal odor in it and the bathroom was extremley small and you could not open the bathroom door without hitting the toilet. We stayed in teh room the first night, but asked to be moved the next morning. We were moved to the fourth floor and before moving, we asked to ensure the room had a larger bathroom which we were told it did. It did not, it had the same exact bathroom size, so we called and asked for a different room and we were told there were no further rooms to be given. Thus we stayed in the new room on the 4th floor. My main point is that since I had reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights, I would have thought that my request would have been met for a room with a larger bathroom and it was not. Did not make it feel to me that my business was truly wanted.
