« where is the staff,? and the bartenders should not be bothered. »

arrived at 9.30pm on a sunday, to find out that nobody's is at reception, nor at the bar area adjacent. After almost 10 min a youngster arrives (maybe he was older but his shabby attire did not allow to identify him as staff member) asking me if I need assistance..... room and corridors are dated (this is the novotel style of 2004). 10 pm at the bar for a drink, the bartender is vacuum-cleaning and clearly ignores my presence. It takes more than 15 min to get a drink (and I'm the only customer). the next day, with no even 10 customers in the bar, another bartender also clearly can not be bothered. I have to go up to the bar, and get told in a very disrespectful way, that he's busy and just have to wait. HAS NOVOTEL FORGOTTEN WHAT HOSPITALITY & SERVICE MEAN ?

We really enjoyed our stay with you. The family room was very comfortable, with good facilities such as the fridge and great connectivity to the tv. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. Perfect for our needs

« Pleasantly surprised »

Hotel is in a great location for visiting Paris without the high room rates and tiny rooms. The hotel is in the business district which was quiet and two minutes walk from Line A of the RER. To Charles De Gaulle Etoille it’s about ten minutes. Staff were lovely, room really nice and breakfast a feast. Only drawback for us was lack of air conditioning which meant the room was warm. I’m the summer months it could be very unpleasant I’d suggest as there is no way to turn down the heating.

arrived with jet lag [décalage horaire], pulling two suitcases, and expected the revolving door to enter was automatic! You could add a sign on the right side for POUSSER :-)

« Good stay but could have been better »

I was disappointed that i wasnt considered for an upgrade as an Accor Gold member. The bar closed at 11pm and i wasnt able to use my drink vouchers although the reception allow us to take drinks from the fridge instead which was very kind. I didnt see any welcome card or gift in my room as a Gold Accor. More so there was a nail sticking out the carpet which was very dangerous (i took a picture of it). The breakfast bar was good but i found the choice was limited

Apart from the check out with this lovely lady at the reception, the whole experience was forgettable. It has started to feel cheap staying at Novotel and it seems the hotel is hell bent on taking maximum advantage of the lack of hotels in the vicinity. You seem to never have my loyalty profile. Room was smelling, when I asked for another bottle of water as the water was too cold, I was refused. Experience at the bar, forgettable. Asked for a 'fresh' lemonade, got a Sprite. No language barrier here. In an almost empty bar area at 11, I was abruptly asked to change the table. guess what, was only in the hotel from 22… next day !!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. You feel welcome and the facilities are all very good. The breakfast buffet is delicious and very well balanced. All in all an experience, that I would be happy to y share with friends and colleges.

From the moment I arrived early and asked the receptionist to store my bag whilst I explored Paris, to booking taxis and asking for directions locally to checking out the whole experience was slick and seamless with nothing too much trouble. In addition the bar team are excellent, run a very tight ship giving great service. The bar area is great and personalised in a way that makes it somewhere you want to stay and in fact we did and brought colleagues from another nearby Novotel. Great job.
