It was one of the worst experience. When I check-in, they did not know that I am a gold member with Accor (even I did my reservation through Accor App.). No previlages were by going for any Accor chain. In addition, no room sevice were in the hotel at night (even water)! Plus treatment for reciption people were not good with me. I will not repeat neither recommend the place to any of my friends or family.

« Nice location, poor staff »

I really liked the location of the hotel; not so touristy, with lots of restaurants and shops. That was nice. The hotel was clean and new-looking. We also saw the Eiffel tower from our window - that was really nice! However, there was one ridicilous thing. We always request two covers (the thing you sleep under; cover in US English and blanket in UK English) in each hotel we visit. So we have double-bed, which typically has one big cover for the couple to share. Well it doesn't work with us; we want two covers. We always, always get these. (For comparison, we've had 9 travels this year, amountin to about 1,5 months.) But not in this hotel. The front desk simply said that there is none. This hotel has excatly the amount of covers that there are beds...................... Maybe you get the point. And anyway, it's very rare to have 100% booking capasity filled in any hotel at any time. Maybe just borrow one dedicated cover from one available room? But "non". So there we were. We did survive of course, but we didn't really enjoy it. Might seem minor - isn't for us. This led to us never again usign a Mercure hotel again; we'd rather take our good amount of money elsewhere, where the hotel has been able to purchase maybe just 10 more covers than there are beds. (I guess it was worse how we were not aided at all, rather than the missing cover.) Also, we signed in on Friday and the first visit of the maid was on Monday. Not a problem as such, we're clean people, but still.

« Good location but services and facilities could be improved. »

Breakfast comments: Food selection was average, the coffee was not good. The restaurant staff need to improve basic hygiene, not to use barehand to touch the food (replenish the sliced bread without gloves after cleaning a table). Facility comments: Gym equipment were old and dirty. T.V. in the gym doesn’t work. T.V. in the bedroom need more English channels Booking comments: When we book the accommodation online, we did put in a request for a room with a view. I do understand if the hotel might not be able to entertain all requests but at least has the courtesy to read the request otherwise just don’t bother having it.

I stayed at the hotel for seven nights during a business trip in Paris. The hotel is fairly well located (proximity to a subway station) and the rooms are comfortable. However, service could be improved (ex. wake-up call forgotten, service in the dining area a bit careless, cleaning not done after 15:00). Despite these minor incidents, I mostly enjoyed my stay at Mercure Paris.

The Mercure provided a great base for us as we worked to see all of Paris in just 36 hours! An impossible dream made easier with the Metro right outside our door. Breakfast was fantastic, try the baguette, for sure. Only disappointment was no coffee maker in our room.

I was on room 21 which floor carpet is stained. Bad experience with duty Front Desk when check-in because not well instructed the way accessing the lift for the other 2 Standard Room, instead of saying "this way and that way", why not saying "take the lift beside the lobby to 1st level....". Besides, during check-in, I was not informed about Privilege Room fridge drinks are free until I asked on the last day. Breakfast food and service are good and the eating area is quiet and comfort.

« Good room view and location but bad hotel policy »

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were shocked to know that, 1) Only one small water bottle was provided to us for two of us for the whole stay. How can 2 people survive with one .5 litre water bottle for three days? When asked at the reception, they said extra water bottles are chargeable. It is a highly inhumane policy of your hotel which makes people starve for water, if not buy extra bottles from you. 2) The breakfast spread was very minimum for the price charged by you. Very few options to choose and very small plates to keep our food. 3) Our room was very small in size. We would barely walk and keep our bags on the floor. Except on the bed, one cannot sit anywhere else. Overall, we are not satisfied with our stay at your hotel.

We already see your feedback on Tripadvisor, the policy about the bottle of water is clear, we provide one bottle per day, it's not to give all the water you need, it's just a small attention and it's just in case you need. Of course, in a hotel you have to pay extra bottle or you can also go in supermarket, we have a lot near the hotel. I'm sorry if you don't understand that. We try to provide the best room regarding the kind of room you booked, it was a standard and we gave you a room with a view of the top of Eiffel Tower. About the breakfast, we knew you are vegetarians, but we have 5 kind of yogurt, curd, 4 differents juices, 5 kind of cake, plus brioche, croissant, viennoiseries, 3 kind of sliced fruits, 3 kind of dry fruits, some regular fruits, 2 kind of fresh bread, fresh eggs with machine, scrumble eggs, pancakes, 4 kind of cheese, 4 kind of cereales, butter, jam, raspeberry sirup, maple syrup, nutella.. I don't really know what kind of food you would like to have on a buffet for the breakfast, you pay 12€ per person, in Paris, it's a good value.... Admittedly, the last stay this week at the hotel was a bit expensive but the staff is super nice and the quality of rooms is very very good. I would say it was wort it. The bathrooms are super clean and the bed is definitely comfortable. The breakfast service with "my favorite ladies" is really nice, you always get a smile in the morning, the quality is very high and this particular area of the hotel is always clean and tidy. With these ladies you will never see a messy or dirty breakfast area (both tables and buffet)!!!

We loved our room at the Hotel Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle. We booked a Prestige Room, and it was spacious with a wonderful inside courtyard terrace. Everything we needed was in the room including a coffee maker, a tea kettle, coffee pods, tea bags, robes, slippers and a fridge. We did, however, find the hotel staff to be very impersonal and somewhat cold. They were always looking at their computer and only looked up and said "Bonjour" if we said hello first. We also realized there is a downside to the hotel's location. It is a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants, grocery stores, boulangeries etc, there is a Metro stop right across the street and you get to see the Eiffel Tower every day. But it is not a central location, and it took a long time to get anywhere we wanted to be.

Hotel's room is big and comfortable with refrigerator inside. Everything is good but there was no electricity in the second night we stay. Besides, there was no one in the front desk can deal with it.
