I was surprised about this Hotel, did not expect this comfort! Bed, Room, Pool with a wonderful place to sit in ghe Garden. The Bar serving drinks and Food 24 hours! Breakfast great! The Personal, very friendly and helpful! Just perfect. We will be back!

« All very good except for noise »

The hotel grounds swimming pool were excellent. The staff were very helpful and informative . The problem was the noise of the Air conditioning from outside even with window shut it was like a washing machine going all night. I am a very light sleeper hence I had very little sleep but maybe to other people it would not be a problem.

Sleeping was difficult because of constant noise from some electrical/mechanical plant in the same area of the building. Room was quite small (cramped). Towels were rubbish, would not possibly have lasted more than one day as suggested by Accor Hotels.

My allocated room stank of smoke - despite being a smoke free room. I was allocated a new room but this too had been smoked in - but not as bad - the manager was apologetic and offered a free beer

The hotel location is a little isolated. The hotel meals were OK but not special, however I LOVED the corn snack available from a dispenser.

« Value for money but missing a cot »

Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff very helpful. The breakfast manager gave our baby a balloon which she loved. However I had requested a cot some months ago and had it confirmed by email. On arrival it wasn’t in the room. After enquiring at reception we were advised it was broken. Our baby is 11 months and needs a cot. We made do with the broken one as no other solution was offered. It didn’t fit in the room either as nothing had been removed to accommodate it.

Staff great - and enjoyed the pool. Breakfast not as good as Porto or Lisbon ibis - no fruit salad and supplies not refreshed. Coffee machine erratic.

« EXTENDED BOOKING »

We asked for an extended stay for 2 days, the hotel was not busy, and were told the price for the daily rate would increase. We had booked the dinner rate online, and ask if we could get the online rate for breakfast, and were told no !!! We are looking at alternatives hotels in Faro who will give better treatment for a long time customer. We left, dissatisfied. and will drop the Accor membership programme. Adrienne & John Y.

You can rely on Ibis.Check in/ check out,breakfast ,even the evening meals.Only downside is the compact room ( but perfectly adequate) and for this visit the bedroom floor needed a good wash-no barefoot strolling this time!!

Staff were brilliant. Room comfortable and clean . Easy parking. We arrived very late and reception was there ready to check us in get us to our room . We asked for a few items and the gentlemen was happy to help.

« check-in was abismal »

Whatever was agreeable with the stay is overridden by the check-in. I took the TIME to check-in on-line. This facilitates my room key waiting for me on my arrival with no further administration. On arrival I was third in line at reception. There was one person manning the reception. She was on the telephone. From the time I decided to time the wait, 13 minutes passed before she ended the call, and she was on the phone a long time prior to this. The first resident then only required to pay one Euro for water that was being sold on the counter. The second had a reservation but needed to check-in. After ALL of this it came to me to collect my room key. During this time the bar tender came into reception and I asked if he could give me my key as I had checked-in on-line. He asked for my room number that of course I did not have. He had no knowledge of what on-line check-in was. If I had known that telephone calls take preference over physical people standing at the reception counter, I would have telephoned for my key while waiting in-line. Accor Hotels prefer to have their clients take the TIME to check-in on-line when waiting in a line at the hotel is still par for the course only to save work that their staff would normally do. As can be seen it has no benefits for clients/residents.
