Centrally located close to the Bourke St Mall, this hotel is clean & tidy with a good menu choice restaurant for both breakfast & dinner. The rooms are of good proportion with a comfortable bed & choice of pillows.

The stay was not as good as it use to be, we felt like a number and that rip off of $ 50 dollars for checking in early has convinced me not to stay at an Accor hotel ever again. The nice person in the organisation w was the senior barman he could not do enough for us enjoyed his manners. just for accor in formation we have stayed with this hotel for over 20 years.

Once again we were very pleased with everything about our stay. We were checked in by a trainee (took a little longer but we didn't mind) who was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. All the staff we encountered were very good.

Was overcharged and still waiting for my credit. Apart from that, the stay was quite pleasant. Staff were very helpful and courteous. And the restaurant was pretty good as well.

We were greeted warmly at reception and that set the tone for our lovely stay at Novotel on Collins St. We found our room to be spacious (1033) and well insulated against the noise of White Night which went on all night! Customer service was fantastic as our son had left a gift in his own hotel room and this was retrieved by the manager. The only improvement I would add would be body lotion in the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay!

With the arrangements for the "White" Festival in full swing and your staff under pressure both the concierge staff and reception took the time to assist us to book in and directed us to secure parking as we had to book out early. Hotel room was extremely noisy due to the white night event . We were not advised of this when we booked 4 rooms . We did not get any sleep and were exhausted for our conference day. Overall very disappointed .

This was my third stay at Novotel, and it was lovely that this return business was acknowledged by the hotel. I had occasion to speak to numerous members of staff in my one night visit and everyone was very helpful and efficient. The room was very nice, clean and in particular, the bath towels are great!

« Needs an upgrade »

The rooms are tiny Need an upgrade Putting shower on was awarded as you get cold water on you the wayvit was set up Wow the smell in the lift going down to collins street gave me a headache and dizzy. It was an awful strong gas smell. Terrible Wont recommend the hotel to be honest I was advised i can purchase 2 new pillows i spoke to benita on check out 12/2 advised she will let me know when they arrive $20 each. I didnt hear from her i called back on the 16/2 was advised will get benita to csll me.......im still waiting So disappointing to be honest Thanks sonia

« Comfortable stay in city center. »

We both enjoyed staying here in this most convenient location. Close to shops cafes and tram stops. Our room was adequate with most of our requirements met. Lack of storage space was a concern. Drawers under bed side ledges would have been a good addition and made for better utilization of space.
