Bathroom was filthy, hard to communicate with reception staff, personal property went missing from in room fridge, hallway carpet on our floor was not cleaned at any time during 2 night stay, free wifi very poor, room required general maintenance. However, dining experience very good with exceptional staff, room very quiet and good size, bed very comfortable, extensive breakfast offering.

The day of arrival I came down with covid so rand and advised we could not attend. as booked through luxury escapes was advised there would be no refund. Great you get all money and provide nothing

The location is great. We appreciated being allowed to check in early due to a flight cancellation: We waited in priority and where not acknowledge while 3 other staff members checked other people in but could clearly see us. It took over 10 minutes to be served. The aircon in the room is broken it only goes to cold so we where at 19 for the 3 days we where there. The room had black splatter on the wall and hair in the bath. The hotel is in desperate need of a revamp it’s very dated.

Overall a very pleasant experience.

A brief stay, easy to book, great location. Great to have one on one experience with helpful friendly human staff. We booked a day stay as we flew into Melbourne early and had to wait to get to our next location. This is an excellent service when available, ideally a hour earlier for check in would be perfect as our plane arrived from interstate at 5.05 am, which was around 3 o'clock am approximately for us. The chance to catch up on lack of plane sleep improved our Melbourne experience greatly. Thank you.

House keeping is very poor and needs to be improved on many levels. Cleanliness across the hotel is poor too. I say this because I spent 10 years in the hospitality industry running a hotel/restaurant.
