i stayed many times at the pullman and i will return in the future as usual, easy stay, friendly staff, wide selection at breakfast, great location only minus this time: the fridge in my room was not working/cooling at all

« Nice hotel, nice room, nice city but shame on some staff »

We came with family four of us , the Front office ladies were very nice , the room very well designed .the only bad point was the next morning i cam only to front office around 06h00 to do soem work on my laptop and have coffee, as there is NO coffee facilities , NEITHER mini bar in the room. 3 member of staff , were dicussing some reports in the front office and when I came the look of the blond women with the black jacker whom seems to be in charge , meant clearly that i should not be there and should not disturb them.However as I was brave enough to ask where to get a coffee , she told me that the restaurant open at 06h30, then I aske if there is another way to have a cup of coffee , she then , looked around as searching for something and came back to me , there is not coffee facility here ...I then asked for the password for wifi , cleary but the look she gave , i must be a simpleton , and with a sight she gave it to me . my comment is the patronising , disdainful attitude to the young arrogant lady to a guest double her age whom is asking for something very resonable is not acceptable , some people should remenber that with out clients there would be no salary.. At the same time , there was a young ladu , long dark hair , who was very nice and latter on , appologised for her colleague attitude , this is a very proffesional person and should be congratulated .

The room was great. The breakfast was great but in the evening, around 20:00, the service was awful - it looked as if no one knew what they were doing and did not want to serve customers. The food we were served (not the menu for the day) was mediocre - a change from the excellent food and service a couple of years ago. I could only get a wifi connection in the lobby. I could not get a wifi connection in our room. see above Hotel - great. Restaurant at breakfast - great. Restaurant in the evening - poor.

Very nice room, good view to the city. But counter staff are not so helpful as compare to the one at Ibis. Did not inform me how to use wifi in the hotel until I asked. The key to the room is deactivated before 12 pm of check out time.

« Great location »

Was at the NEWA hotel for 1 night, after a meeting had lot of fun to go around and see the old town and its fascinating facilities! The walk from the hotel is short and pleasant with lot of bars and restaurants around! The hotel itself was nice, the staff friendly and helpful! Just the 21 EURO for the car parking was a bit too much in my opinion... Would come back again as overall it was good!

The prices of our parking lots are not unusual for a city hotel. They also result from the fact that all parking spaces are rented in our underground car park and we have to convert the rental costs calculated for this to the price of the parking spaces of our guests. But ask us for your next visit for alternatives, because in the surrounding area there are several, because of the location but not quite as comfortable, but more cost-effective car parks, which we gladly recommend to our guests. « Very nice hotel in good location. »

I stayed here for one night. I really liked the rooms, small but well designed and classy with a great view. Breakfast and dinner was fine. There is a big choice of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. Excellent location to visit the mighty town of Dresden or to go shopping. All in all, great value for money. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well located, close to train station, shops and old town. Very helpful staff, everyone wants to help. Sussen, the rececptionist represented the hotel professionally. The room may not be very big but it is really comfortable,clean,light and surprising.

« Good Hotel but need attention in the restaurant waitressing service. »

Good Hotel and nice to get an upgrade, but for breakfast service is OK and seem to be all staff in training and only 1 seniorrrrr (not really international experience, just being years working in the hotel does not mean you have a good experience if you do not service to customers properly eg you should welcome to guess coming to enter the restaurant not just looking till the guess say good morning........) it is very important that you welcoming guess to eat breakfast in the hotel. Security is not good either because when I came out from the restaurant, you have a begger to ask me money in the 4stars hotel (inside).. I think this hotel is going down the hill compare to 4-5 years ago, ythey are loosing guess and they do not try to get them back. I know in Dresden many tourists have lost interest to come to this town but the hotel have to try harder to get the guess back to the hotel, and we habe staying once or twice a year since 4-5 years ago, but this could be the last time.

« Everything seem not bad except wifi »

Wifi should be improve because terrible.. breakfast is good and acceptable. Hotel is little bit far away from city center but next to train station. I stayed superior room but it was cold. Heater does not work and noby assist us durint our stay even if told the front office.

« Not flexible staff, not meeting booked sercices »

I have booked room + premium online package (for 3 devices). I go t2 issues, I had to discuss with the receptionist to get premium WLAN (to use VPN) and at the end it has worked only for 1 device. Then on invoice I got breakfast instead of Premium online package, which I booked. By receptionist not possible to change. Crazy. Wellness is nice, but closing at 22:00, which means sauna turns off at 21:30. Besides that hotel is quite nice in good location, but this non-flexibility drives me crazy.

By your reference we could solve the problem but in the meantime - and we will be prepared again in the future. You write correctly that our sauna is open until 10pm. But the mistake of an employee was the reason that on this day the sauna was automatically switched off rather soon. This will not happen to us again. « noisy, small rooms, no usable Wifi »

positive: The hotel is very close to the main train station. negative: very small rooms. Wifi is not free, if you want to work with it you need to pay (no VPN and REALLY slow). aircon does not work even if we asked for it. it only heats, no cooling. You cannot open the window as it is really loud. For some reason they do not use key cards but a big plate linked to a small key - not fun to cary around. Would not recommend. P.S. If you are an Accor leclub member forget it, pullmann does not care about your status. no upgrade even though there were free rooms and lounge access is also dependent on the hotel.

Located next to the train station and shopping street and just 10min walk from old town. We had a Superior room at 14th floor with nice view at the train station and its surroundings. Room was decent size, but nothing special. Big windows are nice and same goes for glass shower if you like watching your partner showering. If not, there is a curtain, but it does not provide the same privacy as normal bathroom (same goes for toilet). So if you are not intimate with our room-mate it might not be most comfortable. Room was clean, but there was quite a lot of dust on some equipment. Seemed like room was not used for a while, so the dust gathered and cleaning it before check-in missed some spots. no big deal unless you would have dust allergy. Bed mattress are due for replacement - they have indentations and sleeping on them was not so comfortable. Breakfast is good apart from the very poor quality orange juice and not too many vegetables... otherwise they offer good muesli, nuts, smoked salmon, decent rolls. Other things fairly standard for 4* hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Pullman, Dresden having enjoyed our stay there a couple of years ago when travelling in Germany. Location is excellent, 5 mins from main station, easy to walk to sights, opera house, etc, and the rooms very clean and comfortable (although the threadbare towels need replacing). However, one WiFi logon per room (for a couple - my wife and me - or an individual - my sister travelling with us - with an iPhone and an iPad or laptop) is very poor service, and differed from every other accommodation we have stayed in our two months in Europe. The indifferent shrug to advising that one of our meals in the bar area had not contained rosti (as noted on the menu) was disappointing, with no apology or reduction in the bill - an offhand, seemingly reluctant coffee offer (for one of the 3 of us?) after pointing out the menu item that was not wanted as we had opera tickets.

In Dresden for concert. Wife and I pleased with hotel, although we elected to have breakfast at charming cafe under Woolworths. Plenty of room in bedroom. Fab shower, projecting into room, like the bathroom brochures, hermetically sealed so that no steaming the whole bedroom. Could do with extra chair for clothing. Parking pricey at Euros 22 per night, compared with cost for a human, however, cheap City parking nearby. Easy access to hauptbahnhof, 20 minute walk to Altstadt.

location is excellent,- hotelstaff is competent and friendly- breakfast is on a good level - the acces to the parking is a little complicated and it is not a privat parking and too expensive but i would recommand this hotel in anyway
