« Reasonable for our needs »

This hotel is very close to transport connections which was important for us as independent travellers. It is in walking distance for tourist attractions & old town. The hotel reception area is somewhat impersonal both in position but also attitude of staff which made it very “business like” rather than friendly, warm & welcoming. The breakfast if included in the price is wonderful but if not there are great & cheaper cafes very close by. The hotel was clean & met our needs well.

Our evening arrival in Dresden was unexpectedly delayed by two-and-a-half hours. When I called the hotel the receptionist reassured me that this would not cause a problem, our room of choice would still be available. At the reception desk, we had some difficulty checking in because a credit card reader was malfunctioning. Again a friendly attitude from the staff helped; the replacement machine worked fine. We were given a street map and brochure describing what Dresden had to offer, which proved very useful. For rail travellers, the hotel is ideally located, close to the Hauptbahnhof. You can see it ahead of you on the pedestrianised Prager Straße as you come out of the station. From the hotel it is an easy ten minute walk down this modern street into the central part of the city where most attractions are, including a large variety of eating places. There are attractive cafés for breakfast very close to the hotel (we didn't have breakfast at the hotel itself). Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable with up-to-date furnishings and bathroom fittings and a window we could open at night (good!), and the whole hotel is well air-conditioned, which we appreciated in the very hot weather during our stay. The larger than life picture of a woman's face over our bed was off-putting, but at least this wasn't the first thing we saw when we woke up in the mornings. One thing I'd like to have seen in a hotel of this quality was a pool or jacuzzi, rather than the advertised massage facilities and sauna. We slept well, although the pillows (only one for each person) were too soft for our liking; extra pillows would have been provided had we asked, but it would have been nice to find some spare ones in the closet. The room keys were rather awkward to use and carry around. Wifi access (no fee) was easy and reliable throughout our two night stay.

the position is in the city center. Hotel crew was really friendly and professional. Parking - there is not enough available parking slots to park the car before the check-in process. parking area is not so close and you will have to drive around the block and walk back to the hotel. right next to the hotel there is the option to park on the street - price 6 € per 24h. the hotel will charge you 21 € per night. Room - was quite small and dirty, I found all over hair from the previous guest. Gym - a small room equiped with some cardio machines. you can skip it and go to the Fitness first informt of the hotel.

« A goo hotel with great after service »

We stayed overnight during our trip trough Germany. The stay itself was ok, but one colleague of the front office desk made it exemplary! I had forgotten something in my room that I needed back as fast as possible. However, as we were traveling by bike and already 70km from Dresden when I found out that we were missing something, it was not just so simple as to go back and fetch it. After calling in, one member of the Pullman front office team went to personally check my room, found the item and arranged shipping to another hotel further on our trip. He helped to make up my mistake in the best way possible!

« very good hotel at the heart of a large shopping area »

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean, the arrangement with the shower in the 'middle' of the room is unusual but interesting, breakfast was rich and tasty, the location is great!! walking distance from the train station and from all the lovey shops and restaurants, which was the purpose of our visit. It is also very close to the old city. We will come back

Close from central station No complimentary water for classic room I booked including breakfast, but the staff at the restaurant told me that it didn't include breakfast. I went to desk and showed my reservation mail. I thought that it was fixed after that. However, when I checked out, staff told me that I have to pay for breakfast because it was not included. I showed my reservation mail again and I had to wait more than 10 minutes for staff to check it again.

The hotel pullmann has just raised the bar! Its a wonderful hotel and also located very near to the dresden central train station. It also has wonderful view on boths sides! The service, cleanliness and breakfast -all are awesome! The rooms are very well designed. Just for some 100%+ perfection - a separate low-intensity light for the toilet and dark covers on the four corners of the glass window -are necessary for a deep sleep.

The hôtel is well located but is not at Pullman quality level and not évent at 4 stars. Rooms are very small and there event no roof for à water gratiné machine and can take a cofee. Wifi is very poor: troughput is voluntarily kept low to force you to pay à premium pass.

The hotel is very well situated and has some atmosphere. The staff is a bit unfriendly however and in the room you shouldn’t expect even single bottle of water. All the building seems elegant but in the DDR fashion. Very good and diverse breakfast menu.

The Pullman Hotel, Dresden is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with stunning views of Dresden from the upper floors. The shower and toilet were very quirky with only an opaque glass partition separating them from the rest of the room. There is, however, a modesty curtain for those who might worry about such things. Check in and check out were both efficient and speedy despite me having messed up my original booking. All round an excellent place to stay.

Beautifully that you have liked your stay and that you also convince other readers of the hotel appreciations as our product with your best “censorship” for our top position in the middle of the city. So we see that we are on a good way to satisfy our guests everywhere. The fact that you lacked a coffee and tea station in the room, we regret. But this does not belong to the equipment of our Classic rooms. Our hotel disposes of several room categories with equipments different in each case. Superior room have, for example, a refrigerator which our guests from the assortment of the Market Places can completely fill by their wishes, Deluxe rooms and junior suites dispose of a filled and free minibar. As well it behaves with a bottle of water, a bathrobe in the room, the best view about the roofs of Dresden up to church “Frauenkirche”, several pillows for the choice, free Highspeed Internet, a newspaper, additional amenities, a VIP Treatment … Please ask us with the next time aimed after the room category most interesting for you. The free Internet access in our house is laid out for a range of 512 kbit/s and at the whole hotel temporally for an unlimited period free of charge. But is in times in which a lot of hotel guests communicate at the same moment in the Internet to count occasionally also at lower speeds. But for higher claims we also place at disposal at any time a High Speed for access with up to 100 Mbit / s, these then, however, against a surcharge. Also if it comforts you afterwards a little: at present we negotiate with our offerer TheCloud essentially more positive conditions including the speed (up to 3 GB/s) for our Internet as up to now, are bound, unfortunately, this year up to the conclusion of a new contract still in current. For someone who normally stays at the Ibis, this extra starred-hotel within the Accor family felt a bit of a let down. On the plus side, the room was comfortable and there is a mini fridge and in-room safe. It is also very handy for the train station. However, check-in took half an hour (with just 2 guests in front of us) and we were just automatically given a twin room rather than a double. The bed was a too soft for my liking (that could be a personal preference) and the pillow was most uncomfortable, not to mention the odd feather that would poke through. The gym seemed a token gesture - had to give up waiting for the single treadmill that was in use. All in all, I thought you could get better value and more efficient service elsewhere for the money.

Your bed concerning: we renew at present in our hotel gradually our mattresses and pillows, then there will be in future certainly no more reason for this criticism. « Nice hotel, nice room, nice city but shame on some staff »

We came with family four of us , the Front office ladies were very nice , the room very well designed .the only bad point was the next morning i cam only to front office around 06h00 to do soem work on my laptop and have coffee, as there is NO coffee facilities , NEITHER mini bar in the room. 3 member of staff , were dicussing some reports in the front office and when I came the look of the blond women with the black jacker whom seems to be in charge , meant clearly that i should not be there and should not disturb them.However as I was brave enough to ask where to get a coffee , she told me that the restaurant open at 06h30, then I aske if there is another way to have a cup of coffee , she then , looked around as searching for something and came back to me , there is not coffee facility here ...I then asked for the password for wifi , cleary but the look she gave , i must be a simpleton , and with a sight she gave it to me . my comment is the patronising , disdainful attitude to the young arrogant lady to a guest double her age whom is asking for something very resonable is not acceptable , some people should remenber that with out clients there would be no salary.. At the same time , there was a young ladu , long dark hair , who was very nice and latter on , appologised for her colleague attitude , this is a very proffesional person and should be congratulated .

The room was great. The breakfast was great but in the evening, around 20:00, the service was awful - it looked as if no one knew what they were doing and did not want to serve customers. The food we were served (not the menu for the day) was mediocre - a change from the excellent food and service a couple of years ago. I could only get a wifi connection in the lobby. I could not get a wifi connection in our room. see above Hotel - great. Restaurant at breakfast - great. Restaurant in the evening - poor.
