Booked two communicating rooms but at arrival was given two rooms facing each other. Obviously not possible with 2 kids of 4 & 8. So we squeezed 4 of us into one room. At breakfast it was chaotic and buffet was empty as the staff struggled to keep up with demand. And I don’t believe the hotel was full it was just short on staff and very badly organized. To get tea and coffee at the bar in the evening had to wait almost 30 minutes and there was Only one other table of 8 at the bar.

The stay was nice. However, we were told the breakfast was free, well it was not! It was actually almost $20 and it was not all that good. When we got to breakfast they were packing up and they didn't tell us the breakfast was at an additional cost. Then for some reason my card kept declining and I had call my bank several times and the hotel charged different prices from what I was quoted. My mom and I had two adjoining rooms, first of all the rooms were not adjoining. The rooms were down the hall from each other and my two rooms were next door which was not expected. We did not get a receipt at the property which I was uneasy about and then later the hotel reached out to me with an outstanding bill which was more than the amount I was quoted. I will not be back. I will always just go with an American hotel.. I didn't have this problem with the Hilton. The price the Hilton quoted me was the price I paid to the exact penny.

I didn't like the room, specially I found a bad smell coming from the bathroom and the toilet, it seems there is a problem with sanitary network.... Also the staff at reception is not so nice, there were a man in reception at night (13-10-2018) who answers me unpolitly and sitting with his mobile always...

Overall experience was good, however i was charged for bereakfast which i have not taken. later on it was reverted back, however I was charged 31.77 GBP and return was 31.55 GBP, which seems that due to difference in exchange rate. However not happy with spending more than an hour on notifying this issue and reverting back

I asked 2 staff on my ticket for the 1 hour boat cruise paid and both said to collect at the counter below Eiffel Tower. I went to ask for 3 boat cruise companies and all said they need the voucher but my confirmation letter provided by Accor does not have voucher. I expect a full refund for my 1 hour cruise which I paid additional 50 SGD.

The room aspect was old, the carpet looks not very clean, no hygiene products on the bath, the shower tap was not work correctly.... not a very good experience. Next time only the 7th floor :)

As soon as someone uses hot water in the hotel, the hot water heater system kicks in and makes an outrageous screaming noise. This noise plus the general level of noise in the hotel due to poor nous insulation led to a disappointing sleep. To top it off, I was asked how was my stay at checkout and I explained the noise and in return I got a blank stare. Then I paid the bill, surprised by the amount and was told it’s normal and later realized I was charged for a breakfast I didn’t have. I called back and had the charge removed but did not receive an apology nor reaction to my complaint about noise. Overall disappointed and not in line with my expectations for a Novotel...
