This is an attractive hotel. My room was quite and the bed very comfortable although I found it hot on one of the nights. I enjoyed a good dinner one evening. One of the receptionists helped me with clear directions to the venue of the meeting I was attending.

I travel on business. The hotel is convenient to UNM where I my meetings, so has been my preferred location in the past. However, the lack of a desk for working in the hotel is the reason I will be looking for a different hotel in the past. Working from a very small round table with less than comfortable seating or lighting is just not acceptable for me. Beyond this one rather large negative, everything else about the hotel was quite good. Bill

When I arrived, the receptionist: - kept talking to his colleague for a long time without even asking for my patience - he could not give me a company invoice - he promised to send it by mail, but never arrived - he mentioned that the fitness center opens at 4:00 while it only opens at 6:30, so I woke up in vail next morning The staff at breakfast was not friendly either. I would never recommend this hotel.

« Waiting for the lift... »

Out the 17 hours I was checked ito the hotel I spent 1 hour (!) waiting for the lift. I really only came because I had 1 meeting friday morning and I misssed it becasue I could not get to my room after breakfast and from my down to the reception. I accumulated 1 hour that morning waiting for the lift. It is ok that you rebuilt the hotel but advise the clients about before they book and at least offer not to charge full price. Awful experience!

I stay with you regularly in Courbevoie, the experience at the front desk is improving, the updated rooms are nice. The organisation during the renovations is pretty good, the small cake on the desk is nice touch and much appreciated. Still some things to do regarding the controllability of room temperature. Attention to detail on daily service to rooms has some small attention to details that could be better.

Hello, Reception did not work, charged me different than in confirmation, no answer to questions, wrong receipt when departing and promise to send receipt to email, but never got it. Paid 20€ too much for bad service.

The room was fine. Nice. As you would expect to have but nothing extra ordinary. The food in the restaurant was horrible. You only have the restaurant as a necessity with no desire to actually be good. One guest asked for pasta, the waiter said they didn’t have and he recommend they actually go out to a different place to eat. When I ordered I was told you were out of 2 different, the entrecôte and something else I forget, but I wanted the entrecôte. Ended up getting a hamburger which was obviously a pre-made frozen patty on a food service bun so basically the lowest quality meat and bread you could use. Obviously nothing house made. The patty was coated in some sort of sauce like it was dipped in it just to add some sort of flavor. I was in the middle of a 4 city 17 day trip so needed to do laundry. It took me 3 days to figure out how to get it done. One girl at the front desk was new and told me it was free and had soap. So the second day I went to go do it I see it needs money and you don’t exchange dollars for euros so I needed to wait for the next day. You had no soap and I had to ask 3 different people at front desk over that day to get soap put out. So bottom line you offer a fine room and that’s all. Any amenity is an afterthought and a nuisance to you. I’ll never stay there again and will recommend anyone in our office traveling there for work to stay somewhere else. In 5 hotels I stayed at during my trip, yours was the worst.

Hotel looks like it’s in middle of reception renovation, and this gets very crowded. Building is becoming very dated, although rooms are okay. Hallways and corridors have seen better days

« another poor experience »

dear, I have been staying in the last three years nearly once a month at the Mercure Courbevoie, and am a gold member. However, the treatment I get lately is poor. No special welcome at the reception- to the contrary. I was charged again 150 euro as accompte, whereas normally it is 1 euro. I always used to get automatically an upgrade to a privilege room. Not so the last 2 times ! In fact, last week I had to ask for it. And best of all, when queuing, a young male member of staff started taking care of a customer behind me. Really, this was probably the last time i stayed at the mercure courbevoie. The problem is - staff at reception is constantly changing and is full of young inexperienced stageaires, who think they work at a 5 star pullman. Poor. Not satisfied at all

« Terrible experience for me »

Terrible experience. Not at the Mercure standards and not in La Défense. It's 16 min by feet crossing the city Courbevoie. A navette from the hotel is available every 15 min In theory because in practice, never on time, or not in service at all and obviously taxis don't want to bring you to the train station, as the drive is not profitable for them. Regarding the rooms, the first night I didn't get any drinking water, the second I got one and the third night no water again. The TV wasn't working for 3 days. The remote control was dirty !! and the shower had absolutely no pressure. Also really noisy. When I checked in, the staff told me the hotel was fully booked so only the third floor was available, and got to be offered in this way: either the street side -noisy- or the more quiet side with an ugly view... inspiring ! I took the quiet side, but the hotel was anyway busy so not really quiet with some constant distributing noise from machinery or so. Conclusion : Never again, and way too expensive for the service provided !!
