Hotel undergoing revamp. Guy is closed, no alternative. price still the same Laundry costs are excessive. No ironing facilities in the room, this is a hotel not a hostel, why should i have to go to a common room to press my clothes? Breakfast is sub-standard, staff not attentive, too busy chatting to each other rather than check on what is empty and ensure it is full. (Eggs were empty for a while) In the heart of the business district and you do no have desk to work at. Cleaning staff, were not attentive, the soap ran out in the shower for 2 days and was not replenished. the coffee was not replenished for 2 days. The shuttle service was a frustrating service with the desk not sure of the timing, i was eventually told it was on request. I waited 2 days at the station for a shuttle and ended walking as it was quicker in the end, even after being told it was on the way. The breakfast room, seating torn on the bunks, very poor show. Unimpressed the value for money (+1600 euro ) spent. the value at the Holiday Inn on my last trip was far better, bigger room, better rate and service.

Ok The room is generally ok The toilets are not very comfortable as they are close to the wall You also need to consider the position of where you hang the towels as they are too close to the toilet One of the elevators was not working in the morning so it took a while to get down and up in the morning

It was a nice hotel, well situated. The breakfast was quite bad, but we guess it was because there were many tourist busses there. Tourist busses is always a sign ot bad breakfast, because they usually pay a lot less for the rooms and breakfast, which makes the breakfast not as good. Good service

« Hotel Mercure Paris was good and would have been excellent had there been no renovations ongoing to the roof garden. »

Everything was good but I had booked this hotel via Expedia where there were some breakdown in communication (1 ) was when I arrived having booked 2 rooms and had comfirmation and for some reason the hotel on arrival only had a reservation for 1 room saying that the second room reservation had been cancelled at 6 am that morning ? (2) on my checkout day I received emails where there was another breakdown in communication the emails were for debiting my bank account for the stay but I had already paid for the stay in advance via Expedia ? (3) it would have been better had I been informed that there were renovations to the twelfth floor ( roof garden) and that there was no access to during my stay , this was advertised on the website as one of the features of this hotel and didn't advertise that is was closed.

« Value for money stay »

Location is about 12 min walk to the subway but there are not much food choices in the area. The mall next to the hotel is run down and not many shops remain open. Hotel has a free shuttle to ferry guest to the subway at certain time intervals. Room interior looks dated and in need of a refresh. But generally satisfied.

« Nice hotel, good staff - but some not acceptable things »

Dear all, I have visited your Hotel already ~ 15 times for my Business trips to Paris. The checkin and checkout was smooth, friendly reception staff ... and very good barmen & -women. Nice rooms (many thanks for the free upgrade due to my Plantinum state). But two things were not acceptable: 1. One of the reasons to book your Hotel in Sommer period is the wonderful terrace at the Roof (and also the Gym). During booking and also at Arrival there was no indication that both facilities are closed. I've noticed it when I was at the front of the (closed) door. You have my fully understanding that from time to time These faclilities have to be maintained/renovated. But why you are not informing your potential customers beforehand - and still on the Hotel Webpage it is written: "..Un spectacle à admirer depuis notre terrasse panoramique ... Salle de fitness et Solarium" signed by Mr Roland WARDINI, Direction de l'hôtel. Dissapointing 2. After checkout at Friday I wanted to use your shuttle to go to the Office. I was wating at 06:50 in front of the bus. Nobody showed up. After some wating time I've asked the Person at the reception. The answer was: "No shuttle today, because it is reserved for a larger Group and their luggage ... You can take a taxi or a bus". GREAT!!! Is this a joke? Do you have two Kind of guests? And why there is no Information one day before ... or at least a plate at the bus??? And: at this time there was no other Group, no luggage ... what was hindering you to make the scheduled tours until really there is a need to reserve? So I was forced to walk quickly by foot in my Business suit with my large suitecase and my Laptop case. I've arrived absolutely sweat at the Office (there was already > 25 degrees and high humidity) "THANK YOU"
