« average , ratio value for money disappointed »

First the location is reported as La Défense but Far away . Second the check in was slow and did not make me feel as a valued customer . third in the morning I could not find any available staff to provide information to go to La Défense . Only the second I could get information about the shuttle . having said that the staff for the room service was very nice . Check out was also ok although I was told I would received the invoice by mail which did not happen .

Did not get a room with a small office desk (like I am used to and which I need to work) - asked the reception to change and then again got a room without office desk, was kind of disappointing. Further ok, breakfast is very ok!

« Living like in a subway »

Though it was a good location but being stayed close to service elevator is like living next to subway. During the early hours in the morning it was a total collapse of infrastructure for breakfast and elevators ride.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. The location is nice with plenty of places to eat around. It is a big hotel and it got busy at break fast time on all 3 days I stayed there. The lift management system needs upgrading as they are slow.

« Disaapointing Room Service options - busy hotel, but rooms were of a good standard »

As the hotel was very busy on arrival the check in process was very slow. Did not have the same issue on departure. Due to work commitments I needed to have room service 3 times during my stay. I found the food selection was quite disappointing with very limited choice. One evening I ordered one of the 'jar' options. This was not up to expectations, the portion was very small considering the price and the quality was poor. All meals ordered appeared to have been microwaved excessively. Breakfast -> Appreciated the guide in place for when breakfast would be most busy. Unfortunately I had breakfast at the busiest time each day, there was not process in place for taking room number and assigning a seat on arrival, every day felt like a battle to find somewhere to sit and eat. Room -> Room was well equipped, the USB charging points by the bed were very helpful. Bathroom was good and clean, no complaints.

« Confusion over room rates »

On check-in, there was confusion as my booking had 2 different tariffs (booked by agent), and I was assured that I could stay in the same hotel room for the three nights. However, on returning to my room for the 3rd night, my key would not work. I was informed that I must pay an additional 50 Euro for the room for the 3rd night.

« Hotel facilities are rather poor, only made slightly better by the attitude of the staff there who are always willing to help. »

There were many occasions when I arrived at the hotel/room and there were issues with the facilities. On one occasion, I went to the 7th floor and I was greeted by a corridor full of pillows, looking extremely messy. Then the room had a bad smell (probably from the air conditioning unit). On another occasion, the shower wasn't working, there was no hot water coming through. These are basic standards which I expect every time I stay at a hotel. Also, I have a Gold status on the Accor membership scheme but I've never been offered an upgrade to the room; I have been there 4 consecutive weeks and only last week I got the “welcome gift”…but that was it. What is the point then of going up the membership levels?

Checkin busy with tourists. Room is OK, but I would like a mug rather than a paper cup. Food choice is poor and restaurant understaffed. Aside the lack of choice the food is OK but deserts are poor. Room service menu is poor. Checkout again busy with coach of tourists and reception presented me with an envelope containing someone else's bill. This is the last choice La Defense hotel when the others no longer have affordable rooms. Availability is usually reasonable but that is due to the less favourable location.
