« It was good. »

We had a warm welcome, and our renovated room and bathroom were the best of all Mercure hotels we have stayed in. However, suffering from a bad neck, the pillows were terrible, in my opinion, and I had very little sleep. I think that if the directors of the company had to sleep on these pillows, they would have changed immediately. Breakfast was excellent, and,we were very satisfied with our stay, apart from the pillows.

Very convenient to Bordeaux Airport. Nice African themed room on 2nd floor. Only problem was smell of smoke from previous guest. Slight problem at bar getting two free drinks despite there being two of us in room.

« Very bad welcome experience ! »

On Check in the Credit card system did not except UnionPay and the front desk person was not so smart to deal with the problem eventually we used our Amex card and it worked ! But the staff has no passion or kindness they just do there job. I stayed in Bordeaux and Beaune where we had very good experience with Mercure ! But in Paris airport it is different standard it feels like a tourist trap !

The shower temperature regulation was not working. The temperature varies from cold to scalding hot so you had to time your self in the water. Otherwise it was a nice hotel

It is the second or third time I stayed in this hotel. I do feel the improvement . Will definitively stay again. Compare with novetel airport which I had stayed numberous time in the past, this mercure is much better. The only mine thing is I think I have already paid the tax when I did the booking, yet when I checked out (to pay other bills), I found I paid it again( the tax 2euro). It really doesn't matter. Just a very small thing.

On this occasion and to my delight I received a superior room. This was very comfortable with a few extras e.g. a bathrobe and slippers. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and as always the food and service were excellent.

Good for rooms, front desk etc but bar is poorly manned, people walk past you as if you don't exist, not "I'll get someone for you or anything"!! this is not based on one visit but several, 2 last week alone

Hotel location very easy to find. Nice room and friendly staff at reception desk. Restaurant food expensive but satisfactory. Wine list prices are very expensive, with nearly all wines listed more expensive than the main course prices for food. Noted that the 4 tables with guests eating, none ordered any wine!! plenty of safe car parking. not disturbed by airport noise at all.

My husband and I wish to make you aware of an extraordinary employee. His name is Junior and he was on the night shift when we came down to check out. He worked to get us a taxi at 4 AM. He made us comfortable and also made us a cup of coffee. He was professional and helpful. Wonderful personality.

« room was clean and quiet. desk clerks were helpful and friendly. »

mattress was a bit too hard. soap dispenser did not work. baseboard in toilet room was unglued from wall. paper cups for tea were too small and did not have a handle so it was difficult to hold the cup of hot tea. easy walk to airport, very convenient.

« The Hotel Mercure at Mérignac met all of my requirements. »

My experience was 100% positive with only a minor problem on arrival. At reception I was handed a card to enter my room and then to my horror I found that it was for smokers. On my return to reception this was rapidly rectified and I was allocated a non smoking room. My room was comfortable, clean and I found that it was easy to change the air conditioning setting. I had a meal in the restaurant and this exceeded my expectations.

« It was a very short stay, but enjoyable. »

I enjoyed the decor in room 228. It was nice to have an outside window that actually opened for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great rest, although short as I had to get up at 4:00am. I did have an issue with the drain in the bathroom as it would not lift and mentioned it to the desk staff when I checked out. I could not get the shower to work either so not sure if that was my problem or another plumbing issue - couldn't figure how how to turn the water on for the shower head. All the staff were very courteous and helpful and very fluent in English as my French is not so good for conversing.

« SURPRISINGLY GOOD HOTEL ... AND WONDERFUL DINNER »

The very first encounter with the hotel was not auspicious - the co-ordinates you give are not correct and led us astray! However, after that, all was great - lovely situation on the beach, and we had a couple of great walks along the beach. Helpful check-in staff, and quick entry to our surprisingly spacious room. We were given a great table for dinner in a full restaurant and, no wonder; for any hotel, the food was, in our view, exceptionally good - extremely tasty; well presented, and really great staff. Would most definitely choose this hotel again were it on our itinerary (which it probably will be!)

The welcome on the desk as as good as always, friendly, informative. A special thanks for the man in charge of the dining room on our arrival (04/09 evening) who managed to tweek the menu and wine list to our great satisfaction. The room was good, I was able to adjust the air conditioning which gave me great pleasure. A pity about the paper cups for early morning coffee, insubstantial, cheap, especially sad as we did not have time for breakfast before departure. We shall be back!!

Your staff was great. Your hotel was a bit dated. The worst problem was the restaurant bar being understaffed. This resulted in long waits for service even though there were only four customers at 9:00 PM.
