Staff were friendly and polite. Our double bedroom was tiny. There was just enough room to walk around the bed. Tucked into the corner of our room was a toilet, sink and shower but it was far to small. I am average height but couldn’t use any of the facilities in the wash area comfortably. The room size was very disappointing. However it was nicely decorated and clean.

« Decent hotel let down by poor food »

No problem with room, staff etc as have stayed before. But very unhappy with restaurant. Ordered lasagne which took around 20 minutes to arrive. Was obviously factory-made but that's not unusual. However was still frozen inside. Waitress did fine - apologised and said would reorder. Did so and delivered a hot dish. However poor quality , glutinous béchamel with little cheesy taste. Perhaps just unlucky or does the restaurant need a shake-up? Only offered extra garlic bread so not very well handled.

« Comfortable, clean friendly hotal. »

I checked in easily on arrival and given all information about the hotel from polite and friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet, and was cleaned daily, new towels left and coffee, tea etc topped up. We had paid for breakfast on an offer and it was good value for money and very enjoyable. The hotel was close to the town, and within walking distance.

« Great budget hotel ,easy walk from train station and not too far to walk to main attractions. »

Friendly check in. Room compact and bathroom very compact but all clean, modern and fine for a short stay. Large bar and breakfast area on ground floor and the breakfast was really good with a large choice.

We had a room that was very hot, asked for a fan but they didn’t have any! The room was small so it should have a fan really! We couldn’t sleep that well as all we could hear was shouting and the night clubs.

Bathroom space, less than adequate, leaking shower head. 1st day 2 bath towels no hand towels (between 2 people). 2nd day 2 hand towels NO bath towels. Storage space wasn't enough even for the 2 nights we stopped. Staff presence was space. Everything else fine

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the Hotel was welcoming and everywhere very clean. Our room was nicely prepared and functional but a little on the small side, although that did not cause us any problem. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We would definitely opt to stay here again, the only downside was no air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good in the morning with a wide range of continental and cooked options available. The rooms however are outrageously small and I would not wish to stay in one of those rooms again.

Hotel fine, enough car parking if you arrive in the afternoon, buffet breakfast fine. Nothing overwhelming but that is why it is a 2* hotel. Checking in seemed like a chore to the man who took my details, rattling off everything so quickly, nothing made sense. Small comments made by him did sound patronising. Also, I'm not a big fan the having my checkin competed on a mobile phone rather than computer. I hope it was a hotel mobile, and not his personal phone. Finally, I'm sure I won't be the only one to struggle with the keycard and the arrow not being the way you insert the card!

We had booked a room for one night. The check-In was very efficient and fast. The reception is very big. There's a bar and a billiard table and plenty of sets to relax. Nice and modern decoration. We got to our room on a lift. We were pleased up to then... The disappointment was when we opened the door of our room, it was tiny. Hardly any space to circulate or to put our luggage. The shower room is so small you can hardly move around or even sit on the toilet. I phoned Reception to find out if this room was particularly small and perhaps swap with a bigger one but we were told all the rooms were the same size. It's pity...

Positives. Check in was done online, breakfast was good. Convenient for ferry crossings. Negative. We went to bed at 11 pm, we both need two pillows, only three were provided, I phoned reception three times each time I let the phone ring for over five minutes each time, in the end at 11.20 I gave up and went to bed. Needless to say I did not sleep well.

Staff were great and the initial first impressions were very good. Shame the room wasn’t as expected, quite small and no air conditioning as advertised, had to leave windows open and had a restless couple of nights due to the noise outside. Room wasn’t cleaned after first day which was not a nice thing to come back too after a long day out. Was hoping to feel relaxed, but come home tired!

The check in was good even though we were given two wrong room numbers! but the actual room was unbearable to have a small desk fan when you did have air conditioning which wasn’t turned on wasn’t enough awful experience
