Great place to stay in Portsmouth, not my forst visit and certainly won't be my last. friendly welcoming staff, good food, comfortable rooms, and within easy walking distance of the main shopping and tourist attractions.

We booked up last minute and got a fairly reasonable price to stay at the ibis. Location is good walked to the harbour and back. Room was clean and in good repair. Have stayed with ibis before and is very consistent

Hotel & room nice and tidy. Staff were excellent. The room was tiny, the smallest Ibis room that I have ever stayed in and I have stopped at plenty around the world. The bathroom was that small a pregnant lady or slightly overweight person would have great difficulty using it. And forget tea or coffee as they are tucked away in a corner but, when taken out, they take up a lot of space on the 'table'. Would not stay hrre again.

The staff were great. But the room was dated and dingy. The bathroom was worse. To have chips in the sink surround and cigarette burns on the surround is never ever acceptable. I also resent paying £10 for the car park. We have just stayed in an ibis hotel in Madrid and their very smart underground car park was only €7

Very welcoming staff at reception. Ideal location for the early Portsmouth to Santander ferry. Only drawback was that by the time we arrived the carpark was full so had to park on the road.

The member of staff (Bruno) who checked us in was great as were the rest of the staff we spoke too. Very helpful. The room was ok with a comfortable bed however the bathroom is another story. You can get into a tight angular shower but if you are of the larger persuasion forget the toilet......no room to swing a kitten let alone a cat. Our room was 312 and was over the main road but the main noise problem was the nightclub opposite...say no more.

Staff were great ..parking a little expensive. Room was clean although shower head wouldn't stay up. No air conditioning but windows open. Easy to book in and out. Didn't use any other facilities so the room was adequate and served my needs.

Great front desk team, good clean room. I booked two rooms with two cars and on checking out, despite registering the cars on check in, there was no request for payment in check out for one of the 2 cars, When I queried this one of the cars (mine) that was registered had disappeared from the system leaving me at risk of getting a fine letter from the parking company. I think the hotel need to look at the effectiveness of the parking system as I doubt this is the first time this has happened.

It started with check in and went down hill from there right through to breakfast the following morning, Glad it was only a one night stay and will not be repeating it again at this Ibis hotel in Portsmouth.
