hotel is easy to find, perfect location for trainstation, pubs shops etc. nice staff, nice building, room is basic but fine for a night or 2. downside: very loud generator/A/C/heating system noises all night; unable to sleep at all

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. One of our rooms hadn't been cleaned but this was sorted out quickly. Coffee ran out at breakfast.

Booked in on line, great, room was not ready, but we were early, no problems, but were told we were being given a quiet room, thought, brilliant, but we had the noisiest, lots and lots of traffic doing u turns, lots of very busy bars open till early morning, yes double glazing , which was good, but it was so hot,as could not open window so did not sleep well, the room did not smell very nice, stale sweat. Got in the shower, shower cream empty, that really should be checked, could not take the sink one as the shower bottles are locked to wall. But saying this, I would still stay again,it was ideal position to where we needed to go. Staff really good, we paid extra for breakfast, which we both thought really good. It just needs housekeeping to be a little more aware, but appreciated they have a lot of rooms to clean. Also if they are offering a quiet room, they should deliver. But as I say we would stay again.

Polite friendly staff, clean hotel and in an ideal location for the Hippodrome. people have mentioned the noise and when ear plugs were provided I did fear the worse..... however, the only noise that bothered us was the noise from the air con/ heater unit which we couldn't turn off. The room was a little too warm for our liking and we couldn't see any way of amending this but this was our only complaint. Everything else was very good.

I bought the stay as a present for my Mum's birthday and was highly disappointed. The rooms were very basic and very small and nothing like the picture's I had seen. We also returned to the hotel after a few hours at the Bullring and there was a very very strong smell of cannabis along our corridor and also in our room. We also had a very little sleep as the music from the nightclub across the road was booming from 10pm until 4am in the morning. I had not been told there was a nightclub across the way upon booking which would of made me change my mind about staying. We were very close to leaving at one point only that we had travelled a couple of hours and had nowhere else to stay that we stuck it out. The one thing I will say is that the breakfast wasn't too bad the next morning.

Being requested to pay a 50 pound security deposit because I wished to pay with cash rather than card is like something one might expect to experience in a cheap motel. It is a poor welcome to your hotel and suggests an immediate lack of trust of your customers.

Room very noisy at night, even with the ear plugs provided. I was told by staff that this was due to nearby night club. This may have been true, but also a lot of noise from adjacent rooms (conversations & TV) Breakfast was ok, but not great.

« Centrally located but so much noise! »

It was an average stay in an average hotel for an average price. Not horrible but not amazing. The room was very basic, which is fine, but we knew we were in for an interesting night when we saw the ear plugs. Hot and stuffy so we opened the window but it is right next to club central!! Did not have a very good night sleep at all. Also we ordered a pizza to take up to our room which after 15 minutes were told had been messed up and they had to make another and then after another 10 minutes given said pizza which was undercooked. We ate it, we were starving. I have been sent this survey like 3-5 times now and haven’t responded because I hate complaining but you asked (multiple times) so...
