Stayed 1 night, room was fine for 1 night stay. 2 remarks: - having a shower with only a curtain in the bathroom is not convenient After taking a shower large part of the floor of the bathroom is wet so have to be careful when going to toilet or wash our hands - the exit signs on the first floor do not point to a real exit but to room 117. I cannot imagine this will be approved by the fire brigade

About the exits , our hotel has 2 exits all room 17 on each floor and the second exit are the stairs near the elavator . I can confirm you that the 2 exits are approved by the fire department . The last check was end of 2018. But we will check again on each floor that all communication is visual for each guests in case off emergency . « Good hotel in nice location, but with small parking and extremely narrow and dangerous entrance-gate »

Room is small but clean and well enough equipped. Small WC combined with shower. No shampoo (only shower-gel), no toothpaste, but enough towels. Breakfast is fixed for all days, but rather taste. The main problem is parking place. The hotel has its own private parking place but it is rather small and entering gate is extremely narrow, so it is very easy to damage a car. The main advantage is location: just in the center of Leuven, close to all main towns places of interest. In general the hotel was fine enough and I will come back to this hotel for sure in the future and can definitely recommend it for short stay.

« HORRIBLE HOSTEL! »

Extremely small claustrophobic rooms of 12 square meters and low ceiling! Beds are for made for 'hobbits'! FAR TOO SMAL! I didn't fit nor could move! NO sound isolation! You can hear every little sound from other rooms! Very BAD value! Not Ibis brand worth!

« Not bad, not great »

Room was not cleaned upon checking (this was way after 7PM). Beds were okay but moved way too easily (only twin beds were available when booking, so I made them a double bed but it wasn't easy keeping them together. Velcro strips on the boxspring would help a great deal). The biggest negative isn't really the hotel's fault but I was kept up all night because of a couple fighting in a room across the hall. The shower was excellent though.

« Nice but noisey Ibis Hotel Leuven »

A typical Ibis hotel, located close to the City Centre, just what was needed. The big problem was the noise. Doors were constantly being slammed and along with the building work which started at 7am each morning, it didn’t make for a restful experience.

Our second visit to this hotel and once again we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to ensure everything went well. I have marked 'sleep quality' as poor because our slumber was interrupted when a group of young men returned to their rooms at about 05.15 on the Sunday morning and ensured everyone else was aware by running up and down the corridor, shouting and banging their doors.That apart, the room was clean and comfortable and the hotel offered the usual Ibis hospitality.Anyone travelling to this hotel by car, however, needs to be aware that the hotel has a very small (secure) car parking area and spaces are limited. The hotel confirmed before our arrival that parking could be difficult and we got the impression that once we had a space, we could come and go as we pleased. However, this is not the case and you may find that there is no space on your return. This turned out to be no problem as the hotel staff were able to point us in the direction of alternative parking areas, the cost of which was deducted from our final bill. Perhaps the management might consider offering guaranteed spaces on a 'first come-first served' basis?

too warm in the room, too cold in the bathroom and a air van that was making such an incredible noise that it prevented me to sleep. Changin a room was not possible and I was told to put wc-paper in the van to lower the noise...

The hotel front desk staff was very helpful and helped me to strategize a way to get to my London flight connection (out of Belgium) when my flight was cancelled during the recent baggage strike. Their kindness aside, the hotel is centrally located and clean. The walls are thin or underinsulated in that I could hear people talking in the hall as though they were in my room. When an adjacent room showered or flushed their toilet, my toilet gurgled.
