« clean but ovrerpriced »

+ points: I arrived at 2am but had a very fast and friendly checking. It took only 2 minutes and staff was super friendly. - points: beds are terrible. Airco is way too noicy and bathroom was the smallest one I ever saw.

Convenience to get to the hotel by public transportation. The stop of tram is just in front of the hotel. Walking distance to the city centre. Many chic restaurants and cafe and also a supermarket nearby. Easy access to the hotel wifi.

« Stayed 2 nights all went well »

I've stayed at Centrum Opera many times - originally I used it for the secure parking when loaded up with wine, tobacco & chocolates but now I use it for preference. Rooms are standard Ibis - check in & check out are no fuss. It does what a hotel should - it offers a nice place to stay

Rooms were clean and the location is excellent when travelling to and from rail station as well as in and out of the centre. Would have preferred option of tea and coffee facilities in room even as an added extra on cost not being a breakfast person although need my early morning coffee when getting up and ready for the day.

Hotel is well situated and well presented and provides private parking which is always a valuable facility. A couple of minus points. Due to the room size, the double bed though comfortable only just fitted between door and wall, so access was restricted. In the middle of the night (01:36) I received an email informing me that I had been Fast checked out and that all I had to do was leave my key at reception on departure. I was therefore somewhat bemused when the receptionist insisted that I settle the outstanding parking charge and stated that I should not have received the email. I am sorry IBIS, you can’t have it both ways.......either ask at check in if the customer wishes to utilise this facility, or action the Fast check out process as defined in the email. This fortunately did not spoil our stay.

Staff were super nice, awesome breakfast, good location. Rooms on street side was too noise. I missed a rug in the bathroom. Air conditioner was noise too. But overall experience was good!

« Great bed, extraordinary breakfast, great hotel »

Our overall stay was very pleasant. We had originally opted for the MyRoom Chocolate room experience, but as we arrived much soon in the morning and the room wasn’t ready, we were given a normal room at our arrival (which suited us, because it was very early). Additionally we were given a little box of chocolate and told that the room itself does not change besides decoration. The desk staff is very friendly (way more than by email contact, which I had initated days ago before our stay to discuss breakfast rates). The breakfast is really worth it. Skeptical at first because of the pictures (too good to be true), I can safely say that this is the best breakfast I’ve eaten in all of Europe. Fresh orange juice, fresh wafflez, amazing pains au chocolat, me and my girlfriend had a crazy breakfast. The bed and sheets were very smooth and comfortable - the room cozy, small, but cozy - hence we found the price too high for such limited space and missing a bigger TV (2018 guys) Ultimately we were also granted a late check-out (13h instead of 12h) for free and again, the desk staff was very friendly. Should we visit Gant again, this will definitely be our hotel of choice. The only non-perfect points I can describe are the price, which is quiet high in busy season and the free mint water at the reception (please redo the recipe, don’t just throw in 10 fruits, after a few hours it tastes awfully bad). Amazing hotel overall. Do yourself a favor and take the breakfast - and be there early!

« Just a short stay but nice experience »

We only stayed one night, the location was good a 10 minute walk to the main tourist area, a lot to see The room was on the small side and the the bathroom was adequate, but as we only stayed one night wasn't a problem. The Breakfast was nice, not sure about kiwi fruit cut in half and big slices of melon and pineapple, would have preferred this as a fruit salad, but overall was good

« Good bed and breakfast hotel near center »

Location: Just 5 minutes walk to city center. Breakfast: Fresh bread each morning, good coffee (Cappuccino etc. included), selection of fruits. Room: Bed very comfy, AC in room and overall clean. Bathroom might be rather small for two persons, but for one it's okay. Staff: Friendly all the time, reprinting an invoice for business purposes took only 2 minutes. Conclusion: Good choice for business trip or sightseeing in a charming city.

« Nice hotel for a short stay »

Perfect location to visit the city. Car conveniently parked at the hotel garage. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very small room. Clean but the bed was below standard. Noisy because of construction works next to the hotel and trucks waiting underneath the window.

« Not enjoyable »

Too much noise in the hotel and lots of street noise. - People from the cleaning team were putting up music and singing in the corridor early in the morning. - noisy truck in the middle of the night (3 am) from the cleaning services in front of the hotel - you can hear hotel guests in the other rooms very well.
