Too Small Space, with expensive value, comparison with many other places. There is no wardrobe for clothes, just some hangers on the wall, that is not enough for one person staying for one week, what do you think for two people. Very clean Rooms.

« Small hotel with hefty price »

All the amenities in the hotel starting from check in to checkout was good. Only thing we felt bad was the room. We had booked a standard room, when we went inside the room, it was very small. It could just fit a bed, side table and our two bags. Washroom was also small.

The hotel provided good, clean, basic accommodation for my three night stay in Cologne. Handy for the city centre either on foot or via the public transport system, which is fab. Room was clean and tidy, and staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was basic continental fare, wisth only panini available in the evening. Near lots of local restraints though.

In general everything was ok. The down points were that the room was really small and i asked for a dounble bed and got 2 single beds. Definitely not what i asked for.

Check in was extremely smooth and helpful, my friends happened to stay here as well, bar opens late was very handy and service was good. After check out, they still helped me to call a taxi for me. It's a good choice for all around almost, thank you.

although I am generally satisfied with IBIS in my life, I booked a room with a big bed. Reservation code, GSBDCNSK. When I got the key, I went to the room and I had a small bed, after complaining they gave me what I booked under the argument they saw me alone, therefore a big bed would be unnecessary....no comments to such unreasonable statement. In addition my reservation showed a price of 86.45, however I see now my credit card was charged with 90.77, can someone explain me this?

« House keeping service is worst, small rooms, not appropriate for long stay »

Room given to me was very small and I had to stay for 14 days and there was no space to unapck the stuff.. no shelf to keep the stuff.. House keeping service has to be inform to everything that you need. without telling they would just change towels and empty bin bag. I had to inform to clean the glass, change the bed sheets and pillow cover, refill the soap, etc explicitly. I do not recommend this place for longer stay.

« Loud construction noises - staff very unhelpful »

I am extremely disappointed as I have stayed in Ibis all around the world and usually rave about them. My husband and I were woken up early in the morning by loud construction noises including drills and jackhammer sounds for over an hour. This also happened all afternoon as we checked in so we were unable to stay in our room or nap. We could not stay in our room while this is happening as it gave us a headache. I asked reception to make the noise stop - the first time the reception just ignored my request & didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience and the second time the receptionist said he would see what he could do, but nothing happened. I feel very ripped off and frustrated that we did not even recieve an apology for the inconvenience. I have always loved staying in Ibis as they are clean, comfortable and in good locations, but I am seriously considering not going back after this incident.

There is nothing to discuss about - we have had some workers here this week and of course it was not as calm at our hotel as it usually is. Unfortunately sometimes construction works are unavoidable, which you probably would have had understanding for in case you would have been informed properly. I am truly sorry that this did not happen and I will talk to my colleagues about it. As a compensation I would like to offer you 2000 Le Club AccorHotel points.
