Very good, convenient for rly station and trams. Easy to find (and park) if driving in (top left of town centre). Great breakfast, nice staff, comfortable room but basic (with TV but no coffee making). Very little traffic noise at front, and none from rly station behind. Undergoing refurb in some upstairs rooms, so no sleep after 8:30am! Will happily use again.

Convenient location; comfortable; very nice staff; parking easy on site (and free); excellent breakfast. Surprisingly no noise from trains at the station next door; hardly any noise from traffic at front. A bit about the confusing invoice which is difficult to work out.

The renovations noise didn't effect me as I leave before 07:00 and return Ca 18:30. Note sure how other guests would react to the drilling etc.

« Construction noise ruined a nice experience »

We have stayed at this hotel several times and like it's location. However the current renovation created so much noise we almost left early. There was no warning about this when we booked and had we known we would have skipped the hotel for this trip. As it was, it left a sour taste. Yes, they start at 9:00 and quit a 18:00 by law, but it was too much.

« NOISY, NOISY, NOISY!!! »

Hotel is well located near the main station and the facilities are OK. The room was fine and the staff friendly. There was expected noise from the station and surrounding area in the evening, which was as expected. What I didn't expect was to be woken each morning with drilling and hammering, so loud that I could not have a telephone conversation. This continued all day long too and made it impossible to stay in the room. I was not warned about this major hotel renovation happening or offered another room in a quieter part of the hotel. I would therefore not recommend staying in this hotel until all the rebuilding and renovation work has been completed, so for me I would not consider using this place again until at least mid 2019.
