« Excellent location for short stay »

The newly renovated rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. Rooms are a little small but nothing beats the convenience of this hotel's proximity to the train station. Though near the train station, the room was quiet.

The hotel is pretty worn down and room small, but I think it was good value for little money. I did not receive the 500 extra Rewards points for booking before Feb 12, only the other 500 points.

Friendly personnel! Very convenient location offering clean an basically confortable rooms. Would stay nowhere else when in Heidelberg!!! Very covenient location! Basicaly confortable rooms combined with very professional and frindly personnel. Would not choose any other Hotel in the Heidelber area! Started being a guest in the 90s. I visit Heidelberg, at least, every 3 months yearly.

All in all, my stay was pleasant. The room was good for me. Clean when I arrived. Bed was comfortable. The room, specifically the bathroom, was smaller than I am used to, however, everything is larger in US hotel rooms, so that wasn't a bad thing, just something I am not used to. The only true negative was one day with no hot water. Trying to shower in ice-cold water was quite painful. However, thankfully, the situation was only for the one day. Otherwise, as I mentioned, the overall stay was pleasant. Good breakfast, quiet room, clean room, very pleasant staff. Positive experience.

The room was alright. There was no tissues and no water bottle which most other hotels offer. The room was clean, though there was a bit of a scent in the room I could not identify.

My experience was ok. The hotel and facilities were fine, and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was very warm even when the temperature was kept low. In contrast, the bathroom was very cold — cold enough that I didn't want to sit in the toilet. The breakfast was ok, but it was the exact same every day. When you stay in a hotel for 6 days and they serve the same breakfast every single day, you get tired of it quickly. I wish there was more storage in the room for my own clothes.

The room was clean and basic, but I found it very hot and even when I turned the temperature down the room was still uncomfortably warm. I couldn't open the window as the trains were keeping me up all night. There was only a duvet on the bed and no lighter bedding options in the room. When I woke up I found that there was no hot water available, so I had to start my day with a very cold shower.

Unfortunately a pipe bursted over night and a big part of our hotel was not able to be provided with hot water in the morning until the issue was fixed. Superbly well looked after by the hotel staff but immensely disappointed with the 'newly refurbished' room. I frequently stay at the hotel for periods of up to 2 weeks and therefore have a significant amount of clothing with me. To not provide guests with even a simple wardrobe or drawer space is incredibly poor design. It might look fresh and modern but try staying there for 2 weeks with clean clothes on the floor and used clothes in the suitcase. There is one 'hanging rod' provided but no where to put a wet overcoat. Providing a child desk might play tricks on the eye that the room is spacious but the illusion disappeared when I placed my laptop computer on it and there was no space for anything else.

When I walked into the room, I was shocked how small it was, there was no space for my suitcase, no place to hang my jacket, no place to put my clothes. The bathroom was tiny, not enough space to sit on toilet properly. The water in the shower took very long to get warm. The electric heater was loud, the bathroom was cold, with a switch to turn on bathroom heater for 15min, it still stayed quite cold. Check-in and check-out was simple as expected from ibis Hotel after online check-in. The staff was nice.

Very good, convenient for rly station and trams. Easy to find (and park) if driving in (top left of town centre). Great breakfast, nice staff, comfortable room but basic (with TV but no coffee making). Very little traffic noise at front, and none from rly station behind. Undergoing refurb in some upstairs rooms, so no sleep after 8:30am! Will happily use again.

Convenient location; comfortable; very nice staff; parking easy on site (and free); excellent breakfast. Surprisingly no noise from trains at the station next door; hardly any noise from traffic at front. A bit about the confusing invoice which is difficult to work out.
