The hotel is situated a short walk from the station and is handy if you are travelling by train.The room that I had was quiet and you could not hear the trams that were going by.The staff were helpful

« Good, but the beds are too big for the rooms given the lack of aircon »

My stay was overall fine. I had a surf and breakfast deal booked that included premium wifi, which I didn't get when I checked in. I had to ask for it the next day. The rooms are fine, but the beds are really too big for them and given the heat, it all felt crampled and squashed. There should be aircon and if this isn't there at least tilt and turn windows to let some air in in the night. Breakfast was excellent and so is the location.

When I was booking the hotel, there was an option to write for the hotel and ask for question. Not only was not completed, even noone reacted or answered. Same by the check-in, i have added a credit card in order to charge online, the booking system has accepted it, but i had to pay finally at the check in, although I was informed, that if I pay online, I don't have to worry about this on the spot. I was intend to stay at this hotel a few nights every month. But due to the poor level of service, I am considering to choose other hotels.

All towels prepared are one big towel (bath towel) per person and one floor mat per room. After taking shower in the evening, we have no dry towel next morning. We asked one face towel per person, but refused. In ibis Styles Strasbourg Centre Gare, one large and one small towels per person and one floor mat per room. So, I told above to the person at the reception, he laughed at me scornfully and said "This is Germany, not French". We are seriously unhappy to see such a person at the front of ibis.
