« Location is very convenient to visit the old town »

Location was super convenient close to both train station and historical center of the city (<10 mins walking distance). Room was decently furnished and quite comfortable. The only issue is that the bathroom is extremely small. Regardless, I would recommend the hotel to friends planing to stay a short visit in Strasbourg

All is good but it would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room. Or a teapot. Also there were bugs in our shower. Very unpleasant.

We got one bed instead of two single for me and my son, there was blockage in the toilet, no fridge in the room. Breakfast is very pricy.

Since I am in a wheelchair it would have been nice to have had a larger room with twin beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when cars parked on the sidewalk and I could not get out of the parking area. Breakfast was adequate with a nice selection.

« The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and professional but the standard of the room and bathroom is very low. »

The room does not give the feeling that it is clean (the floor was still dusty), the fan in the bathroom had dirt/dust accumulated over it, and generally what is offered for a room at this price is poor. Your staff, on the other hand, are professional, polite, welcoming and helpful. I would give them a high rating. The facilities of the hotel need to be improved dramatically to make it in line with what's expected of the Ibis chain. I would not book at another Ibis after this experience (and for this price). We also had singers in the room next to ours and they made our night miserable with the amount of noise they made (singing, banging, shouting) after they returned from a concert at 1 AM. The receptionist was kind to immediately come and tell them to reduce the noise when I reported it at 1.20 AM, but they continued talking until 1.50 AM, after which it was impossible to sleep. The receptionist the following day gave us a bag of cookies to make up for this incident, which was a nice gesture, but why is the hotel not proactive about managing noise? The receptionist told us that performers regularly stay at the hotel due to the proximity of the concert hall, so I don't think that we were the first guests to experience this problem.

Hotel has a great location, just outside of Petite France and the centre-ville. We could see the beautiful cathedrale from our window. Quiet location, comfortable bed. Downsides were that the toilet/bathroom was FREEZING - there is a switch for the heater outside the door but it only stays on for about two minutes before switching off. Another quirk was that housekeeping kept knocking on the door, even with the &quot;do not disturb&quot; sign hanging up.

« Horrible beds. Old hotel. »

Beds are not real beds, small mattress really low quality, back pain in the morning. The hall is ok however the rooms and corridors are really old fashioned. It needs a total refurbishment. Staff were nice and cleaning was ok too.

in general very good, check- in and -out was very efficient. service in the restaurant was good, employees at a the hotel were friendly rooms were clean, wifi was fine, which is very important these days. location is very very good, about three blocks from the gare and at walking distance from main attractions. « Good hotel, close to the centre »

Clean and comfortable hotel, big comfortable bed, great service. A few points to address: 1) the hotel should have recycling bins somewhere downstairs with signs in the room (you are at the heart of Europe and this is an important item of the EU's agenda); 2) I hung the sign requesting no room service but still received a knock on the door with an offer of fresh towels; people really do not need a different towel every day, you could hang signs in the bathrooms asking people to reuse their towels and safe the planet's resources; 3) the toilet is missing a toilet brush; 4) the chair in the room is super uncomfy, as you cannot regulate it.
