Rose R TripAdvisor review

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay here. We were here for 4 nights, and we found the location of this hotel suitable re. where we needed to walk to. Only about 20 mins to Le Tour Eiffel. Although the room was small, we managed okay in it. Although it was hard to find room for our suitcases and we wanted them in the room with us. The bathroom was quite compact. Although we didn't have view of the Tower, we had a small window we could look through, looking across to older buildings and a nice streetscape below. We enjoyed the breakfast room each morning, finding items we enjoyed, and thought it a pleasant room to dine in. There are 2 buffet style food stations, with the same items, to avoid overcrowding, if just one. The solarium area did get quite hot and stuffy-feeling through the day. Front desk staff...nothing memorable. We would return to this accommodation, if ever back in Paris. It's in a nice area, with being just a little bit busy.

Bartender yelled at my lady

My lady went to get some Coffee downstairs at the bar, to get a little energy after our long flight. We were headed back home the next day she wanted to use up the rest of her LBs she accumulated before we go back to the states. As she was counting out the money for Cafe Latte, she said the guy yelled at her disrespectfully and embarrassed her in front of a long line saying they don’t accept cash in a clearly degrading manner. Lucky I wasn’t there for that. I came back down after she told me what happened and all of a sudden he has his act right. I looked him in his eye and said hey that cup should be free since you got the nerve to yell at my lady. Of course I still paid for it. 4/30/24 around 9pm it was a man of Indian descent, that was working along side a white lady. I can’t believe that something like that would happen, we looked forward to staying at this hotel as I had stayed here in August last year with no issues. The fact that he was so comfortable to talk to a guest that way makes me question the hotels policy. We have been recording footage for YouTube reviews for all the hotels we have been staying at including this one. I wish I had got his name but he didn’t have a name tag but I will for sure be mentioning that experience when we edit and put together the video.

Worst nights sleep!

Drilling, loud banging / slamming doors all throughout the night. People tried to come into our room multiple times without knocking around 8-9am. A loud thud made me jump awake at 5am. Still never knew what this was? Booked for a birthday and was given the worst room ( only 2nd floor when there are 8) we had to pay to leave our small bags there (6 euros) I have never had to do this in other hotels of similar price. Our room was too cold and reception knew zero English and were unable to understand what I was saying. Used Google translate and eventually was told a technician would come to my room to fix it. I waited up for around 45 minutes at midnight fully dressed and he never arrived. First stay in an Ibis, will never be returning.

Dear Katie W., We deeply regret the disruptions you experienced during your stay with us. Your comfort and tranquility are paramount to us, and we sincerely apologize for the noise disturbances and the inconveniences caused by the room allocation. In regard to the language barrier you encountered, we are committed to improving our communication processes to better assist all our guests effectively. We understand your disappointment with the technical issue in your room, and we have addressed this matter with our team to prevent such occurrences in the future. Please accept our apologies for the issues you faced, and we hope you reconsider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a more pleasant stay. Hélène Expérience Client

Great value right near the metro with lovely brasseries, shops and bars nearby. Loved this neighbourhood as it was quiet, felt safe and is well located for exploring Paris. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful and the bar did great cocktails!
