« Low Quality »

No organisation whatsoever. No reception desk, staff is unprofessional, not caring, impolite, barely speaks French. On arrival there's no indication about how to check in, staff is merely wondering in the hall and doesn't seems to be interested in guests needs. When addressing to guests, they speak in an unprofessional manner and in a language that is not proper French.

« Good location with easy access to the Metro and Eiffel Tower »

The hotel was comfortable and well located. The metro system was easy to use to get around the city and the station was a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was well priced and the staff were friendly. The strange system of having no actual reception was a little inconvenient. When I needed assistance from staff it was a case of standing in the foyer and trying to catch the attention of a staff member.

« The worst Accorhotel during our Europe tour »

We stayed in this hotel for 3 night as a gold membership of Leclub Accorhotel. Ibis Cambronne was the worst hotel that we stayed during entire Europe Tour. We booked all possible accomodation for our tour on the accorhotel chain but this hotel provided substandard services. The hotel tried a new concept by eliminating the reception desk but it was resulted a pile of guests had no clue where to go and got delayed for check-in. Obviously since there was no reception desk, there was also no priority line for the Leclub member. The night supervisor in-charge does not really understand english and he was very arrogant when we tried to complain for some services in the room. The lady in charge during the day was helpful and polite, even though she seemed overloaded. About the room itself, we got the best part which was the eiffel view as promised in the advertisement. However, the room was very small compare to other Ibis wordwide. The hot water did not work as expected. The room key was deactivated on daily basis, so i had to go back down to reception after had realized the key did not work on my room. In addition to that, this was the only hotel that did not give facility for the gold member. The hotel did not upgrade my room, did not give the welcome package, did not give the complimentary drink, and they did not even notice that i am their loyal member. I took this as my lesson learnt as well. Next Paris trip will never use this hotel again. I would prefer to sacrifice my point and go with other chain rather than with Ibis Cambronne and get substandard services.

« Use to be better »

The new customer reception is a mess, seems like a new concept but it is awefull. People are not respecting any line queue, its not easy to find the customer representative, they were not all friendly, so of them were some not. When there is a big group checking in or out, its a mess. Food court was always empty, they were not managing it very well, and at the price of the breakfast it is not acceptable. Been to this hotel before and i was satisfied, now i think i am gonna find a new spot in Paris.

« Disgusting! »

The staff were not helpful, everyone was too busy. We tried to call the hotel reception front desk to ask a few questions, however nobody answered and when they did we were cut off. When we actually went to reception the front desk telephone was on silent which was the reason as to why our phone calls were not answered. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Worst possible stay. We would rather have slept outside than to stay at this horrible hotel. The rooms were very small. It was our 5 year anniversary and we were more than disappointed. We made a request regarding our room and nobody listened to us. There is a major language barrier as the staff spoke no English to very little English. We were not able to get any of our questions answered. Nobody welcomed us nicely. It was a complete disaster. Due to our trains being cancelled as a result of the Eurostar strikes, we needed a place to stay, the hotel did not help us look for a new place to stay despite our request for their help.

« The Most Bad Experience I have »

I spend 4 nights at your hotel at the end of March,the weather was cold and the temperature is around 6-7 degree everday. The first night,the shower room provide warm water only, but I still think that was acceptable. The second night when I come back to hotel at night, there are totally "NO HOT WATER" at the shower, then I contact hotel staff for help and then a technician come to my room and try to fix it.The technicain test the water temperature and he said he need to go out to somewhere fix it,he will be back. I had been wait for more than 30 minutes, and there are no one come back and no one inform me how was the process! Then, I phone to the reception again, they repilyed me there is a general problem, and the problem will fix it tomorrow, they can let me change my room at that night. Then I pack my languages and go to the lobby ask for changing the other room. A staff said she dont know any infomation and she said no one can change the room. She was very rude!!!! After few minutes argue, She said she have to ask other staff .Finally, another one give me another room card. The third and fourth night, still do not have any "hot water" supply at the shower. Even the tap water is much more hot than the shower. That means the problem doesn't fix at the end. Another issue is about the property, we are quiet sure that we left our belonging at the hotel room, but I ask the hotel staff they replied me they didn't found that. I lost 2 things in 4 days. I am so disappointed and feel sad about that. That is not a valuable thing but very meaningful for us. I have a really bad experience at your hotel. This is not a pleasant stay.

It was good enough to sleep, but the rooms and bathrooms were extremely small. Also we didn’t have any air conditioning, which is something I specifically asked about before booking his hotel. The check in/out system is chaotic. No reception desk. Everything done on a phone.

When my traveling party and I first checked into the hotel, we were told that are reservation for a family suite was not available. So, we were given 2 separate rooms. Next, my hotel rooms was very small; and this was big adjustment for me. Next, we tried to purchase coffee at the small shop in the lobby, the attendant was very responsive and attentive. But, he was tasked with other duties which required him to neglect other customers. The attendant was pulled away from the coffee shop, and a customer asked for some assistance. When the attendant arrived back at the shop, he looked at me curtly, as if he was disgusted. I assumed he thought I had asked for him to return to the coffee shop, and I informed him that I did ask for him to return. Finally, my traveling party and I asked one of the check-in attendants to print out a receipt of the total bill for both rooms; since, I reserved both rooms on my credit card. We were told that we could not receive a copy of the receipt, until we checked-out. We were told that we had to pay additional taxes and fees. I informed the attendant that the final cost on my reservation confirmation did not included additional fees, and it stated that no additional fees or taxes would apply. When I received a copy of the bill that included the total price on my reservation confirmation, I had some questions about a particular charge for a Regul Chambre. I was confused because there was nothing regal about our rooms. The attendant did not answer the question and only asked me if the total price was the same as the price that I had received. It appears that the hotel employees are very task oriented and not attentively focused on the customer or customer service.

The new check in system with staffs are not satisfactory, and confusing. This change is definitely not a good point for the hotel. May collegues visited together were surprised, confused, and not satisfied much by this check in / check out services.

Rooms were basic (which was to be expected given the price), clean and well serviced although I did miss having a safe for our passports. Breakfast was also good although people cooking their own eggs seemed problematic. We did find the lack of a reception / new styles approach a little confusing although this may just be a personal opinion given we are from an older generation.

« Worst ever »

1. Food was the same for the 5 days which was more than boring. Cheep and poor. If you have a client for a week you need to change something in their food. 2. Price and value was not in equilibrum. 3. The room was extremly small for this money and was not mentioned on the site. This is a very bad thing. You sale something without describing it's characteristics. 4. The sevice; the cleaningness; the food; was not 4star level. 5. There was no hot water; we had to take shower in cold water. 6. I am vegetarian so I got nothing for myself to choose like vegetables; or fruits. 7. I payed extra money for the view of Eiffel Tower; but that's not worthed. This view was not so good. We stayed at the 6th floor. In conclusion: never ever again here.

Employees are NOT friendly. Waiting time is more than 20 minutes for simple questions. They don't know their job. They go to the back back office for a simple question and come back 15-20 minutes later!!! In one case, the guy NEVER came back.

Service is just awful. They don't really care about you. They will just take your money, give you your keys and never care for you again. No English spoken by staff. Lots of wrong information was given me by them which caused me many issues. They won't even help you as simple as finding a cab. I saw many other guests also having trouble with staff. Breakfast is OK, room was clean and new but bathroom is so small you'll fell claustrophobic. Awful value for your money, take it somewhere else.

no reception in the hotel, service was bad, no hot water for 3 days and they didn't care because the hotel was full. tiny rooms, not suitable for couple. breakfast was very poor and they charge for everything even for the language storage when you check out
