« Customer service is not efficient at all. It was not a good experience. »

The front desk check always had a line of people waiting, and often no one was present as the staff had to go in the back office to do anything. The first night the fire alarm went off at 2:00 am, but we were not evacuated, nor were we told what was happening by staff. Very frightening. The next day I was told that someone was smoking in their room (cigarette smoke should not cause a hotel-wide alarm to go off). The breakfast was disorganized. Water often ran out in the coffee machines. The tables were often completely full leaving no where for diners to sit. The set up for boiling eggs was ridiculous as one could not tell which eggs were cooked. I saw various people with raw eggs broken on their plates. When checking out I told them I would need a taxi after I ate breakfast. The taxi I took charged me 15 Euros for waiting even though I told them do NOT call the taxi yet, I am not ready. The staff did assist me in calling a doctor when I was feeling ill, but no other assistance and they did not check with me the entire day while I was sick in my room. They directed me to a pharmacy which was not open on Sunday so I had to return and ask where another pharmacy was. The TV in my room did not receive any international channels. I spoke with another guest who told me she could watch international channels, I asked the staff to send a technician. He could not fix it and they offered to move me to another room, but since I was ill this was not an acceptable alternative.

« Tis time the hotel didn't perform well »

TV didn't work and technician was not able to install all the chanels. Altghouh I was offered to change a room and I didn't want it disturbing. Furthermore on day of living (10.11.2018 at app. 8.00 am there was NO warm water in the room 220. It was diturbing to shower with cold water. I don't understand why scrumbled eggs are not included in breakfast. It is the most eaten brekfeast food all over the world - conditio sine qua non.

A/C didn't work, toilet didn't flush properly, power was out in the room when we arrived. Not a good experience Also this wasn't a big deal, but one of those little things that go a long way. We were on our honeymoon and went to 3 other Accor Hotels, all 3 did something small to acknowledge this. This was the only one that didn't even say congrats.

A disaster from start to finish. Ibis may have spent fortunes on renovating the foyer but the money would be better spent renovating the rooms (tiny uncomfortable and messy). I really felt sorry for the poor staff and wonder who ever though up the idea of no check in but 2 to 3 people standing at upturned tree trunks armed with I pads to take your details, unfortunately once this is done you are directed to the one and only member of staff who has a laptop, as only they can issue you a room key. Huge line of confused customers who had no idea what the procedure was.First day found out that both the soap and shower gel dispensers were empty, my partner asked one of the iPad people who duly entered it into the magic device. On returning to the hotel that evening guess what, yep both still empty, next morning I managed to catch one of the I-People and told them that there was still no soap or shower gel, this was duly entered into the magic machine, can back from my business meetings in the evening and guess what yep still no soap or shower gel, so had to nip out to the supermarket and buy some. Third day lassoed one of the I-People and told them still no soap or shower gel, finally got a resolution "wait there sir and I will give you some to take up to your room (was tempted to ask if there was a training course on how to fix it to the wall mounting. Just to test on the second day I asked if we could have extra towels and was told "wait there and I will get you some", I told the I-Person that I was on my way to a meeting and asked if someone could put the towels in my room, was told "Sorry Sir we dont do that". Maybe a good idea would be to connect the I-Pads to someone at the other end who can get things fixed.

The hotel is ok, but the rooms are too small. Service in the restaurant was really awful, but the guy serving in the bar was fantastic - deserves real credit for getting the job done when many others were not interested in the customer.

Rooms need urgent renovation and updating - my room 505 1st day television didn't work; 2nd day bathroom sink was blocked; shower head broken leaking water. Hotel staff reacted promptly and repairs were made. However, these things shouldn't have happened had the room been checked. The bathroom is way too small, uncomfortable and was dirty because paint was peeling off bottom of general and extensive wear and tear. This is the worst IBIS I have stayed at

At 7:30, a stranger (man) opened the room door and tried to get in my room! I don’t understand why he was able to open the door. In the shower room, I couldn’t get hot water immediately; I kept the water running to see if it would get hot, then finally got hot water 10 minutes later. When I booked the room online, the price was 130.38 euros but at checkout, I was charged 137.15 euros, which I noticed that after coming back home.

I stay in Ibis hotels because the experience is excellent. My recognition to the Front Desk they found an amazing room for me and the view was perfect for my purposes. Service is good! being able to manage my reservation on line is easy and clear. check in is fast and well done. room was clean and location this occasion was perfect close to the Metro and Eiffel tower. Room is really small, with absolutely no amenities. Bathroom as well. Breakfast can use some hot food really. Egg cooker was working only 1 day in the 5 days we were there. Needs more effort on the part of the staff. Had one dinner at the brassiere on the night we checked in, and never came back. I wouldn’t really want to rate the food here!

Some of the hotel staff really need some training regarding how to deal with guests in a polite manner (or maybe how to have a fake smile atleast instead of an i dont care attitude). The check in time was 12PM, and we reached 5 minutes before that. There were around 20-25 people waiting in the lobby and the staff really did not care about what was going on. So, after 5 minutes or so I walked down to one of the hotel guys and asked about my check in. I was told to come back after 20-25 minutes as they haven't started the check in yet - all idle, but still did not start the check in. So we waited in the lobby and saw people coming in groups after us, and getting rooms before even we can be attended to. There is no systematic process, and its all random there. Thankfully, a lady staff saw us waiting, and helped us with the check in process, which was actually very fast (provided the staff attend you on time). Looking at the attitude of the staff, we were least interested to even check the restaurants thinking what would the service be like. Regarding the room and the bathroom size, I know that the typical management response would be that it meets Ibis standards etc. But be very clear, the rooms are small, hence be careful with opening your large luggage inside. And as far as the bathroom is concerned, if you can fit it, you can well manage it very well. I have stayed in other Ibis (even in Paris) and the bathrooms are more spacious than this one. The rooms are very clean, and the staff do a good job of maintaining this property. The beds and pillows are comfortable and you will have a good sleep. I had read in one of the reviews regarding a peculiar fire alarm going off at night when you would be asleep, and yes, it happened when I was there, around 5 AM or so - and I am sure this was not by accident. All guests were surprised with what was going on, and everyone had to evacuate outside to the safe area on the streets. But the worse part was - the hotel staff seemed unaware and were least bothered with what was going on. The only good things about this hotel is the location, close to Eiffel Tower as well as to the Cambronne metro station (which can take you to other places). There are a few good restaurants around too. For the average service it offers, I found this a little expensive and not worth the price.

Hotel location was convenient. Hotel design was attractive. Rooms were clean and efficient. Decently sized but not large. Staff was courteous. There were sometimes minor waits in getting assistance from front desk staff.
