In general ok. as usual with Ibis. However one notices that this is a Ibis franchise and not directly managed by Ibis. There is always some small difference even in small details.

The hotel is close to the tram system and World Heritage site Place Stanislas with bars and restaurants with free overnight public parking opposite or hotel garage. Bar and OK breakfast. Good room with comfortable bed and usual facilities.

The hotel was old & not renovated like most of the IBIS hotels. The odeur in the halls wasn’t nice at all. That was disappointing

Receptionist was on the phone when we arrived and we waited 10 minutes for attention. The "manager" kept appearing from the office and totally ignored us, not even making eye contact or offering a greeting. Not a good introduction. The air conditioning was very poor, pumping out air that was just less than warm. We had a hot, uncomfortable night even with the A/C on. The bed was comfortable, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, but the breakfast was ok.

Arrived on a very hot day. Although booked well in advance I was allocated a rear room facing a blank wall. Requested a change to a front room which was granted. Had to request my Silver Card complimentary drink which was not routinely issued. Air conditioning completely inadequate (reported to reception staff) and had to resort to opening window wide during the early hours to sleep despite external noise. Facilities generally 'tired', use of now old-fashioned keys to lock doors which were requested to be handed in if leaving hotel, underground parking access tedious involving button pressing to get in and out (with or without vehicle) this being especially difficult for those driving right-hand drive cars. No lift access to the car parking area and lights did not come on automatically necessitating a search for switches. A re-vamp of this well-situated hotel is called for in my opinion.

We stayed one night. In the morning the air conditioning started streaming water into our bag. Some clothes were very damp. The service staff dried them for us. Good response. Otherwise, does what it says on the tin.

Good day, I am disappointed with: 1. I have booked room by telephone. reception guy made wrong date 2. Quality of the room is under every tolerance. Smell, bathroom... in one word disaster And all this cost around 100 euro! - In Munich I have slept in Ibis budget in April, in center of the town. Everything was perfect for 92 euros. - I am in Paris now, sleeping in 4 stars hotel for 100 euro night including perfect breakfast. I am member of Ibis or Accor chain hotels and my first choice is always Ibis but this was not satisfied situation.

Good value town centre hotel

The arrival was not good as there was no warning about accessing the car park and we had a roof box that only just went under the barrier. We chose this hotel for the secure parking so it was very important. It was difficult to see the Car Park entrance from far enough away to turn in so we missed it and it is a long way round to get back. Apart from that everything was fine.
