« Brilliant Hotel and Service »

Stayed here for 1 night, upgraded to Executive for £10.00, not sure if worth it, but had a brilliant clean quite Bedroom, with 2 free waters. Showers were good, complimentry shampoos and body wash, smelt nice, didn't use the Bathrobe.Used the bar for evening meal, Hock Terrine, very tasty. Beefburger main course very tasty.

Staff very polite, food very good, car parking expensive, position of electric sockets in room absolute rubbish, should be over table, staff did not have decency to call me back when I called to say I left something in the room. Called on Sunday evening - nobody answered!!

My room was tired and in disrepair. Furniture with damage has not been replaced. The double bed was two singles pushed together which had a very large gap between the mattresses. The mattress was also very hard. The bathroom sink drain had a bad smell also. There are no stairs to the floors, only two slow and busy lifts. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel was central to both the train station and the event we were at. The rooms spacious, clean and well appointed. Staff helpful and the buffet breakfast bountiful. Lack of reception staff in the afternoon however did cause long queues which were not good if you were in a rush. Waited over 20 minutes!

We had a small room on the top floor which had a good view of Sheffield Hallam University. The room was tidy and compact but could benefit from some decoration. The welcome was friendly as was the checkout and we made use of the on site parking.

Aweful. The room was too cold as air con set to cold and not able to be switched off. Room had electrical faults and the restaurant poisoned me with milk in food after I told them no milk or egg. Spent the next 48 hours recovering and lost nearly 2 kg in weight

Room was nice, although a bit dusty on the lamps and there was an pbvious patch of mould in the shower cubicle, that needs a good clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was excellent. Only one problem the I got a message that the breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 and I was traveling in the last day I went to the restaurant the food wasn’t ready and I got small meal milk with Oats only.
