Fire Brigade arrived and there was a fire in lower level of the hotel - for our safety everybody was evacuated outside for >1.5 hours - the staff followed procedures but it was not a very pleasant way to spend the night

The hotel is clean and my bed was very comfortable. The choice for breakfast was very good. The only issue was the fire outside that lead to the evacuation. The guy in charge done a good job keeping us informed of what was happening but it did appear the hotel was under staffed to deal with it. All in all a good stay and I would use the hotel again.

did not expect to spend 2 hours outside in the middle of the night due to the fire.

Not a bad hotel, good facilities and value, but quite dated room decor for a Novotel.

Poor. Worst accor hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I stay at a lot of accor properties.

Comfortable and pleasant stay, friendly and pleasant staff, overall an excellent experience. Couldn’t turn the air con off in the room which was a bit of a nuisance, and £40 for 3 nights on-site parking seemed quite steep but those are my only gripes from my 4 day stay! Shout out to the lovely Rachel from the front desk who provided first rate customer service and was a great help!

Trouble free from entering the car park until we left the car park - the barrier wasn't working!! But in between, a thoroughly pleasant and restful overnight stay. Breakfast was very good.

Clean, calm, comfortable and friendly hotel with convenient distance from railway, conferece venue, art gallery, Garden Centre, set of nice restaurants and historical buildings. Also lots of shopping possibilities in short distance. One wish: Is it possible to have some fresh green vegetables and fish on your breakfast buffet, please?

The hotel is well placed for shops and restaurants. On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and all the staff we came into contact with were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our room was adequate in size and clean and tidy. The only thing that wasn't up to the normal Novotel standard was that the cups and glasses which were left on the desk area each day were just left there unwashed. The breakfasts were fine though I do wish hotels (all not just Novotels) would use less fatty bacon! All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Sheffield and would certainly stay there again should we be in the vicinity.

Manager is not very helpful. The swimming pool was quite dirty and the steam room was smelly. And when I drunk my orange juice it was tasted watery. I asked the waitress and she didn't get back to me.

The stay was good. Check-in not without issues but OK. Room was said to be "accessible." But, the shower was in a bath from which some disabled people would find impossible to climb in and out. The bath had no taps, so it was not suitable for a bather. Room and bath were neither one nor other. Room was made up in the morning but glasses not cleaned.
