« AMAZING »

From entering reception to leaving I was meet with a warm friendly professional manor from all the team. My room and facilities were 10 out of 10. staff were more than eager to help and be a part of the Masters Volleyball experience. Your staff are one of the reasons we come back each year. I noticed the new furniture in the Bar and I think it speaks for the local area with the iron and steel industry and it goes well with the retro furniture. Unfortunately I had to leave on the Saturday night but I knew the team were in good hands I can not wait to see you all next year. Have a great Christmas and New Year

The breakfast was better (fresher) than my last trip (three months ago) and the staff (who were pretty good last time) seemed even more efficient and friendly.

Was offered a room upgrade at a discounted rate which I accepted. Did not think it was worth it! Air constantly blowing through the vent made an annoying humming sound with no way of turning it off

I had a great stay at the Novotel. All the staff were friendly, courteous and couldn’t do enough for me. I particularly appreciated being able to leave my luggage and collect it at a later time after my checkout. The room was clean and had all the facilities I needed. The bed was also very comfortable!

Nice hotel well situated in the town. The suite I was in was quite dark, and there was a portable heater in there as the room heating was not working. The bath plug cover was broken but otherwise clean and tidy

Reception quick and receptionist polite and helpful. Room clean main bed comfortable. Only negative twin room bed is a pull out sofa. Lovely meal and bar service good. Breakfast excellent.

« Enjoyable stay in a very central hotel »

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a comfortable corner bedroom which was nice and quiet. The only downside was the very small bath and the shower was difficult to use as it was on the wall in the middle of the bath rather than at the end so I had to use it as a handheld. Breakfast was delicious and the check in and check out all very efficient. Great that we could leave our car in the secure car park overnight too.

« Comfortable but breakfast service and room could be improved »

I thought the hotel was not particularly good value for money. The rooms look a bit dated/tired and the breakfast service staff were very disorganised with most guests having to ask for coffee and tea, and only on my second day was I asked what room I was staying in. One member of staff was rude. Reception and bar staff were all very helpful. It is impossible to sit on the toilet in the room and shut the door, it is so tight for space.

« Poor sleep due to noise & Power cut caused me to slip and hurt myself! »

I must say i was rather disappointed with my stay at your hotel last night, all through the night there was really loud noises coming from the drainage in the room which meant I had a very poor sleep, also during my morning shower today the electricity was turned off and was left in total darkness (it was turned off and on a few times), as a result of this I slipped and have twisted my ankle It’s is making me rethink my decision to use Novotel in the future
