« I had the booking cancelled on the evening of my stay, appalling service from the hotel. »

I was told on the evening of my booking that they would be cancelling my booking, I was shocked and left in a awful situation as I had booked a city centre location weeks in advance because I had important business to attend to early in the morning.

Stayed one night for a Sheffield city centre night out. Hotel staff pleasant and efficient, room was very bland and uninviting, my wife is a Hotel house keeper and was not impressed with the level of room cleanliness, dust everywhere, me personally I’m not bothered about running my finger over surfaces to see if they’ve been dusted! But I do like a nice inviting room which this definitely wasn’t. Adjoining room door had small flimsy bolt. And there were two bottles of water in a small fridge but £2.50 each of you touched them! At £135 a night I wouldn’t expect to have to pay for a bottle of water. Bed was comfy but pillows very hard.On site parking is great but not many spaces and the hotel is in a prime spot for the city centre.

The room was basic but clean and good location. The issue we had was the bath/shower would not drain when we went to use in the morning as it appeared the mechanism was broken. When informing reception of this upon checkout we received no apology and barely an acknowledgement.

Needed a nice hotel with decent facilities and a GYM. Everything was catered for and all the staff extremely helpful and Polite. I encountered no issues whatsoever, great breakfast choice! Hotel located near the main bars etc. in the centre of Sheffield. Highly Recommended.

We stayed for One night with our children. We had to ask for the double to be split into a twin and this was done eventually. The deal was a good deal so we were pleased with that.

Stayed for son's graduation. The staff put a congratulations card in his room and a sweet. We've used this hotel as our base and even stayed for Christmas one year while he's been at University, so it was a nice touch for the staff to do that & something we'll remember the hotel for.
