« I still like the hotel, but there is lack of improvement »

Don't get me wrong. I like the hotel. I come there frequently. I don't plan to switch my allegiance. But some things need to be pointed out: - The walk from public transportation to the hotel does not get any better. No sidewalk. Crossing a busy four-lane road. Walk through a gas station. It's as if the hotel expects you to come with a shuttle, a taxi or your own car, nothing else. - Adjusting the heating in a room isn't easy. The heating is either full power or none at all; hard to set anything in between. Thermostatic heads would do wonders to the room.

I feel very sorry for the way my guests have to walk to the bus-stop. You are right, it is not safe and far from attractive at all. I have been in several conversations with the government of Amsterdam Nieuw West to find a solution, however so far without a proper solution. I keep on pushing them! Concerning the heating system I also understand your comment. Last year we installed a new property management system for the temperature management of the hotel to better control the temperature for our guest. Very friendly staff Room is okay - water from shower unfortunately rinses over flooding the bathroom Hot iron provided didn't work The breakfast is offering a completely inacceptable price to quality ratio - 23 EUR for a breakfast is a bad joke - only highlight is the orange juice - no service etc. The quality of food at dinner also didn't reflect the price. Overall, the price to quality in food is a clear area of rework and restructuring!!!! It is not acceptable to ask relatively high level pricing and at the same time to serve low quality food Parking package is good

Nice and clean room with comfy beds! Only downside was that the walls are paper thin! We could hear everything outside of the room. Good location and lots of transportation options getting to Amsterdam and the airport.

Body/hand lotion missing. Room was freezingly cold when I arrived the first day as the window was open (1 Celsius degree outside). It took the whole night to properly heat it up and the day after was still a little bit cold.

Our flight home to the U.K. had been cancelled, so we booked in overnight at short notice. We were warmly welcomed and promptly directed to our room, which was comfortable and well appointed. Despite being so near the airport it was very quiet. As it was a Sunday the menu was limited, but the meal I ordered was great. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Breakfast buffet - good, plenty of choice.

I stayed in a smoke free hotel room, but the room smelled like someone did smoke there. The smoke/fire sensor was coverd with plastic, so it wasn,t realy save to. Some lights did not work. And the room wasnt realy clean when i arived. But the people working there where verry helpfull and friendly

The Hotel is overall nice, location is close to the airport but nothing near by have to travel by bus. Staff sort of helpful .. however my partner slipped down the stairs after they had been cleaned was no signs I informed the staff but they didn't see to care that much.

What a wonderful, clean and friendly hotel. Close enough to the airport so we didn't have to worry about our flights and with easy access to town. The staff were very polite and extreamly helpful when I had issues with my card. The rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food and drinks

Well, what can I say. It's a 4-star hotel... But some things are definitely bad even for that. We had a "Superior room" - I don't know how a normal room is, but the superior room had a toilet door that is impossible to close without smashing it in - It has these round door knobs and not real handles? We arrived at an EXTREMELY cold room. All the windows were left open and the heat turned off. This would be nice in the summer, but WTF are they thinking during December when it's 2 degrees Celsius outside? It took a whole day to heat up properly with windows closed and the heat running on max. Smaller things like only having Cola Light and not Cola Zero, the bar providing Pepsi and not real Cola, the bar not being able to mix real cocktails / drinks... Especially the last one here, it's the first hotel-bar I've visited that can only make cocktails that require you to mix two components and stir them with ice. No fancy drinks, so forget all your Pina Coladas and friends! Also, the location is WAY outside the city. That's not really a problem with the hotel itself, BUT just so people know, Google Maps can't even show you the way on foot because you have to cross a highway. You have to be driven by Uber/Taxi or improvise your own route while following the suggested "Bike route" in Google Maps.... As soon as you are around that nasty A10 and walking in the bike-lane it's OK tho. The interior design was also outdated and kinda cringy, but nothing you can't live with. Finally, why no bathtubs even in the largest rooms? I knew this one before arriving, but at least have them combined with the bath like everybody else. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE: In superiour rooms the minibar is free. It is only stocked with Heineken, sparkle water and still water + Cola Light + normal Cola tho.. The people working there are extremely nice and seems to like it. Room service was great albeit it took a few tries to reach them on the phone. Free olieballen at the bar. Breakfast was quite limited compared to other hotels, but definitely decent enough and with some variety. I am used to bigger buffets tho. The breakfast you can order delivered to your room is in my experience better, as it seems to contain a few more items than you have at the buffet? Good placement between airport and city. I know I critized the placement for being too far out, but it is also a positive. Just take note of it. You will be taxi'ing a lot to the central Square = 25 euro trip each way (Uber). The bed is nice. Not too soft and we definitely slept well.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bedroom was an reasonable size. The cleaning of the room needs to be improved. The kettle and side table were very dusty , there was stain marks on the bedding , towels weren’t changed everyday , spider webs in the passage. The room could be made a little more cozy for holidays, room felt like it’s made for business trips only

Hotel very clean with extremely comfortable beds. Hotel was a little loud at night, other guests running up and down hallways. Shuttle service on site says complimentary, however they charge from hotel to airport one way 5 euro.
