« Astonished at the hotel quality and location »

For the price we paid, didn't expect such great quality! Room was recently done up and bed was exceptional, largest bed I think I've ever slept in! Room size was decent, shower and bathroom was also more than satisfactory. Check in was speedy, luggage store a great bonus allowing us to explore the city before check in. Staff were very accomodating, and speedy with queries. Loved the voucher for the bar if not requiring the hotel room to be serviced in the morning. Only request would maybe be an iron in the room. Also location was unbelievable, proximity to the lake a hidden gem!

I am a loyal customer as you can check with my records,I came every months to stay with accourhotel and accour hotel is always the first choice for me to pick a hotel.I had so many beautiful experiences with accor hotel. This time,I decided to stay with Mecure hotel Amsterdam Airpot as I just layover for a night.I found the front desk staffs are so friendly and help,and the shuttle bus driver too.I bought a bottle of wine and beer to enjoy my relaxing time,I can't even find and wine or beer opener and wine glasses in the room 315.I feel vet shock at the first,i think opener and wine glasses are the very basic tools in a 4stars hotel room.So,I go to front desk to borrow that tools and I ask if my free drink coupon can be used with my friend.the front desk staffs answered me "yes,i just want to show to the staff in the bar and i also can borrow the beer and wine opener in the bar."Okay,I go straight to the bar and ask for 2 beers with my free drink coupon.the staff who works in the bar(i don't remember his name,but he is above 45-55ages and name started with K) answered me "no,your coupon for one drink only".I tried to explain that I asked the front desk staff and he said I can.he replied me rudely abd said" he said yes,but I am the in charge for the bar.I feel so shocked with his answer and his attitude.Is that the right attitude to answer a costumer?I didn't argue with him and I said It's okay,I can pay another cup of beer and charge with my room is fine.He made me very embarrassing and peoples are all looked at me.when I left the bar,I asked him to borrow the beer and wine opener as i hv a bottle of wine and beer in the room.He answered me with very bad attitude "I dont have more,You bring your wine and beer to here,I will open for you" I said "what?Its important there is only one wine and beer opener in a big hotel".I went straight to the front desk and i told the staff what happened in the bar and the staff is so rude.I requested to see the manager as I can't accept this customer service in a 4-star hotel and I am a gold card member in accorhotel.The front desk guy didn't ask the manager to come but he solved my problem immediately,he said he will bring the beer and wine opener and 2 wine glasses to my room in 5mins.at the same time,the staff in the bar come over and said I didn't pay with the beer.Gosh,I said i told him to charge my beer to my room,and i told him the room number clearly at beginning.He said I need to sign for the bill.and I said okay,you take it to here(front desk),I will sign for you.eventually,he didnt't bring it to me,my friend come over the bar to take the bill to me.Gosh,my friend is not working in the hotel,why he needs to do the job the staff supposed to do?I completely don't understand why that kinds of staff works for a 4 stars hotel and having rude attitude to treat the customer.It's my very first time to feel disappointed about accourhotel.Last time i was staying in Ibis amsterdam hotel hotel as I cant book for your hotel.probably,their staffs are more know that who to respect a customer and member. I am looking forward for your reply.

« Top Notch Hotel at a Bargain Price »

We found our room to be very comfortable and stylish, particularly the bathroom with its amazing shower, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were checked in by a very nice man named Youri who was instantly friendly and helpful, offering insights on how to maximize our time during our one day in Amsterdam. When there was a mishap with the lock on the door of our initial room, they provided us with a new one and moved our luggage while we enjoyed a day of sightseeing. We returned to our new room with our luggage delivered, a perfectly cooled room, a handwritten note of apology for the inconvenience, and several gifts for our trouble. I would gladly stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone. We'd have loved to have stayed on if our schedule had allowed.

First of taking an additional £200 just incase I use the services you offer even though I wasn't going to use the services is disgusting. Even worse the money was quickly taken with no mention this would happen and still hasn't been returned. Should be advertised on all bookings. Hotel in awful place with no safe walk to the bus stop

We have stayed at this hotel several times for the last 12 years and always enjoyed our visit. However, this time, the reservation clerk did not take my credit card when we checked in - even though I offered it. This resulted in our not being able to charge dinner to our room that evening and the waiter chasing us down the hallways saying, "You have no credit on your room." A stop at the front desk straightened that out but embarrassing nonetheless. Also, we discovered one afternoon that our room had not been serviced by 4:45 P.M. I asked two housekeeping staff if they could clean the room and was told our room was not on their assignment sheet. I finally spoke to a person in housekeeping management and was told that they were "very busy" that day. But 4:45 P.M.? Unfortunately, my partner was not well and wanted to lie down but didn't feel he could do this until the room was serviced. We waited in the bar while the room was cleaned and the hotel compensated me with a free glass of wine, which I appreciated.

Building itself was little bit weird and location was little far from airport. Elevator was weird too. All of room condition was good. Breakfast was overpriced and quality was lower Than I expected.

Essentially everything needed for a very good stay. Interesting though, that there's no way to exit the building other than the main lobby. Seems like a safety hazard that all other doors were locked, for instance if there was a fire.

As room was booked by organiser of event I was not aware about many details which were surprising. I'm not person who is having pretensions and complains, for night I needed just a bed. The one only thing, very VERY pity that parking for hotel guests is paid...

Warm Welcome as usual, thanks again for the upgrade. In the past yogourts were available for the breakfast, it's a pity that it's no more the case. Also I do not understand why the orange juice proposed by default is far less better than the orange juice from the machine. Then I always have to request to use the machine. Regards

« not so well, I won't choose this hotel again »

I'm a Platinum member I didn't get any benefit I should get, including welcome drink coupon, welcome fruit and welcome letter...etc And the service attitude aren't not so well, make me feel uncomfortable I didn't get these benefit when I stay in Novotel Praha hotel either and got same attitude I couldn't image is this the racial discrimination? I hope not, it's terrible Anyway I won't choose this hotel again, it's a terrible experience by the way, I thought Platinum member should be get more good experience and benefit Otherwise there is no different between normal people and Platinum member and it's meaningless to get Platinum member, hope you can improve it
