« Nice City Center Hotel »

I fully understand the Hotel's decision to preserve the environment and limit the use of towels. However, I had during my stay (weekend) only one towel (not replaced) and a bath towel (replaced once). This is rather unacceptable and substandard for such a Hotel, in particular with those high temperature we are facing since quite some time. It is common practice to have at least two pairs of towels; one can be used to dry off, whereas the other pair is being drying. It is not funny to use the same wet towel over a day/night. I never faced such a situation, and in particular not in a Hotel of the group Accor. In general, the hotel is ok, the rooms have been renovated, but the atmosphere is a little morose, the bar for example is closed on weekends.

Extremely poor internet connectivity, no wifi Access in the restaurant, and very bad coverage in the rooms. Few parking slots in the hotel, noisy room and air conditioner did not work properly.

Good hotel alongside the river Saar, just across from the motorway on the opposite bank. Convenient for travelling to and from Austria to the UK with a night’s break. Good restaurant for breakfast dinner.

It was cool. The room service is not too expensive. Nice bed. Bathtub could be a little bigger for my taste. Plus wifi is a mess. But other than that, it was clean and nice.

Always liked to come to this hotel. This year was a little different, I had problems making direct reservations due to totally inept and rude front office interns, had to call 8times from the United States and was told to and look somewhere else. Having stayed at this hotel for at least 20 years, I was a little shocked. I complained about these two employees at the hotel, let's hope they learn and as a very longstanding customer they were able to give us a room for part of our stay in saarbrucken The new privilege room is very nice, although a little cold (not temperature wise) and impersonal, it would greatly profit from an area rug and a couple of pillows on the cold leather sofa. Service is excellent. Unfortunately there was construction on top of us, and very annoying since I had to stay in the room for health reasons for two days.

room is clean and easy to use, with larger bathrooms and good showers. I stayed for 7 days and my bedsheets were never changed and you only get 2 towels (one medium and one bath towel) to use daily. a small towel to wash your face would be nice. the restaurant is OK with good service. wifi is so slow I just used the cell network. quiet and clean. ask for a room with a view of the river.

it was fine. i didnt feel like a had any special treatment given due to my gold status. no room upgrade was given, i had to request o reception for extra towels as i was not alwa provided with enough. The girl at check out messed up my bill and i had to make 2 transactions meaning i had to pay the foreign trnsaction frees from my bank 2 times because of this mistake however teh room was clean and functional

« Very nice renovated hotel in the center of the city »

I have been staying in the hotel with the plan to travel to Saarlouis. Traveled by car. Overall very fresh hotel with renovated rooms. Enjoyed the staying. Might be a problem with a parking in the hotel if you come too late. It is the disadvantage of the hotel. very limited parking capabilities. One day I had to go around the city to look for the opportunity to park and next day walk through the city 15 additional minutes, it was cold outside.

« Not a bad experience... »

I liked the room, the equipment and the decor. Breakfasts were good in variety. There was however a problem with a service and quality of a food being prepared: excellent on saturday morning and slow and not so good on sunday. Outside parking is clearly not sufficient and underground parking is difficult to use when cars are not parked tightly.
