After collecting Accor points for sometime we decided to use them at this hotel on a trip to Paris, we arrived at 7:00pm after a 13 hour drive from Austria, the check in & concierge staff were excellent, but on enquiring if we could book a table to eat in the restaurant we were told it was unlikely but should go & enquire. After unpacking we went to the restaurant at 7:30pm where we’re very very sternly told there was no hope of eating in the restaurant or bar although there were numerous empty tables. We sat at the bar for 10 mins waiting to be served & eventually had to approach a member of staff, after another 10 minutes our drink arrived & at that time we asked again if it was possible to eat...again we were sternly told there was definitely no hope of getting a table to eat. We decided to return to our room to order room service, only to be told that the sandwiches & small salad we wished to order would take 2 hours! Apparently there was no hotel manager on duty to speak with but the senior member of staff contacted us with an apology, they apparently has very few staff/chefs working that evening & there was nothing they could do to help us! Eventually our sandwich & soup arrived (they could not make the salad for some reason) slightly less than 2 hours but by this time it was way past 10:00pm. Our experience was a disappointing & stressful one to say the very least especially as we are very loyal customers!

We completely understand how stressfull it must have been for you and we did our best to deliver your room service as soon as we could as I promised when I went up in your room to apologize to you about this inconvenience... Once again, I really am sorry we were not able provide our best service that night and I'm the first one devasted to read your feedback. Original room had no hot water, late arrival/long day meant I didn’t want to wait for elusive technician to fix, so requested and got a welcome room change. New room still very comfortable (I slept well) but obviously a downgrade, not reflected when paying the bill.

The worst nights sleep in a hotel ever. Went to bed in the evening, loud running water sound coming from ceiling, thought it was someone above me having a bath but the sound went on all night. Called reception at 0600, they did nothing. Manager more concerned that I did not make a scene in the reception area than actually rectifying the situation.

Your staff were great. Antony was very helpful. We did have to move rooms around due to air conditioning not working but we got there in the end. My wife did feel a bit funny whilst we were sitting in the bar having a drink and a mouse ran in front of our feet. I guess this can’t be helped in establishments throughout Europe. Room was very nice and also pretty quiet. Breakfast had money choices. Would recommend to others as it gives prime access to the Palace and local areas to dine.

Stayed here a number of times in its original incarnation as the 'Pullman Château de Versailles' now renamed after a bit of a facelift to the Le Louis - McGallery. Reception desk staff always helpful and friendly, rooms modernised not for the better as all the period style furniture has been replaced with the standard hotel offering. Breakfast gets slightly worse each year, many years ago you got a proper pot of coffee, now you have to serve yourself from flask as though you're on a conference! No more pots of jam on the table, and the quality of the breakfast offering has had a noticeable 'budget cut'. Shame, as the location to the Chateau can't be beaten. We also stayed at an Accor Mercure further up the road, and have to say it's way better value.

At MGallery, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every guest; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the lack of coffee service during breakfast and prevent future occurrence. Besides, as part of Accor's global sustainability program, more and more hotels including Le Louis do not use individual portioned jams anymore to limit our waste. However, different varities of jam are still available in big pots on the central buffet table. Over the last years, breakfast choice has not been reduced and has even been of superior quality, as we have progressively focused on local, fresh and/or organic products. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.

The hotel and everything about it is very nice, with very good staff, but on this occasion I was disappointed as there was a lot of noise from the corridor/landing (near the lifts) it sounded like running water. This noise meant I had a very bad nights sleep - not what I expect from your normally very high standard hotel. I would have asked to change rooms but it was in the early hours of the morning when I was awoken - I assumed (wrongly) it stop.
