« Conveniently located close to Croisette Beach area and walking distance to the Palais des Festival »

Overall nice stay and staff very friendly and helpful. Arrived on the weekend for ILTM and was disappointed to find out on Monday when the construction noise next door started early morning. Would have expected the hotel staff to inform about this on check-in so this is not a surprise. The hotel staff on duty was very understanding and shown compassion when the complaint was raised. Breakfast over the first two morning (weekend) was very sell managed by 2 Vietnamese service staff however on Monday morning when the rest of the guest went for breakfast, the team could not cope and the breakfast experience was not up to expectations. They should have planned more support knowing this situation will happen in advance to avoid this from happening again. The rooms are dated and the hotel should consider their own renovations soon to keep up with the international guests expectations. Am happy to recommend this hotel based on its strategic and convenient location.

« Friendly and helpful staff, but avoid balcony rooms at front »

We have stayed at this hotel many times, because of its location, and paid extra for a balcony room. We were given a room on the 6th floor at the front of the hotel, however this room directly looms over a major building site. This made use of the balcony impossible, because of the noise and the "view" we did ask for a change and were given a room at the back overlooking the garden which was much better. Otherwise our stay was fine and all staff were helpful and friendl, a pity that we were not told about the problem with first room when checking in.

« Great location and lovely staff »

This is in such a great spot just behind the famous Charlton Hotel. The hotel is very well equipped and has a nice interior. The rooms are in the process of being renovated. Ours wasn’t done yet but had a great new bathroom. All the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. Especially the valet car driver and the baggage man, who were very helpful.

« Can do better »

I arrived at 13 :00 and was told my room was to be cleaned right away. I understand that I was early after an 8 hours drive. My room still was not ready until 16:00 so a 2 hours wait. No hot water one evening for a shower, 1 opened water bottle when we arrived for 2 people, the pancakes at breakfast cold, and the fridge old and broken.

« Beautiful pictures fooling the guests. Two star hotel MAX. »

I chose the hotel for the beautiful pictures I've seen on the site, however already at the lobby I was questioning myself if that was the same hotel or I was wrong? But this was just the beginning: by the time we arrived to the room, I've noticed awful smell of vomit all over the corridor leading to the room. And inside the room it was maximum two star hotel, if not to say hostel. All the furniture is old, scratched, dirty, you can literally feel that it stays there for the past 40 years or more. The balcony seems to never have been washed since the construction of the building. The only nice thing is the bathroom. But that is really THE ONLY ONE! Even people working in the breakfast hall are not tidy and neat. Which is just unacceptable. The hotel needs renovation, no cleaning would ever save it. Any 3 star much less expensive place would go better. Total disappointment!

« overall satisfied »

the hotel is well situated, staff very friendly, especially at the reception and the restaurant, cleaning ladies so, so ..... could be better...., the air condition is good and silent. The only negative point is the noise created by the motorcycles parked in the yard next to the hotel, when some of them arrive or leave at 2 or 3 in the morning it creates a lot of noise. The should push the motos on to the road and only then start the engine.

« Very nice hotel one step from the croisette »

The hotel location is brillant, one street at the back of the croisette by te Carlton and made the place very quiet at night The staff in the hotel are all very nice and welcoming The hotel is very clean and our room was very confortable with a balcony with a sea view! Breakfast was great as they also accommodated my wife's gluten free dietary, very well done!

« Outstandingly Good »

We have stayed at Mercure hotels that have been good and not so good. Mercure Croisette Beach was outstandingly good – the best Mercure we’ve stayed in and well located towards one end of the Croisette. From the cool spacious entrance area to the well maintained pool area and garden, from the delightful small dining area next to the bar (lunch here was excellent) to the bar area itself, everything was discreetly classy with colourful touches. Our room was light and spacious with a wooden floor, plenty of cupboard space, a large ultra-modern bathroom with motion sensor lighting and a large balcony. Not only were there tea and coffee making facilities but the cups were china, unlike some Mercure hotels which use disposable cups. The breakfast room, another light, airy room on the first floor, offered an impressive buffet and the tables were not crowded together. There was even an omelette station. Every single one of the staff we encountered was extremely helpful, very polite and friendly. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

« Close to the beach »

We ' ve came to visit our douther during her every year french summer school in Cannes , specially she had Birthday on 13.08. We came on 2 p.m , but room was not ready. Unfortunatelly it wwas not ready also at 3.40 and lady in the reception said it is not her fault. She did do nothing m even she knew we had helicopter trip on 4. She didn' propose even water or car to be able to able to have this trip. Also we didn' received a champain we ' ve ordered with rhe reservation. In such situation Another Lady didn' t alow to have our room till 1.20 pm when we were leaving. Our suite was nice and breakfast very good. Hotel is super located .

« Not ideal situation with 20month baby »

When arriving at hotel we arrived at 12.00 Yes we understand checkin is not till later but we asked if room would be able to be ready we were told its not ready yet but wont be long so we parked the car up and walked into town We said we would come back at 3 The carpark attendant / luggage man was fantastic ( young man very tall) We then arrived back at 3.30 to be told its nearly ready but not quite So again we wait in the reception and its not ready till 4.30 finally This is not ideal when with a 20month baby. Especially when told it wouldnt be long at 12.00. Also when checking out the bill was all wrong with parking and extra minibar added to our bill when infact we had prepaid everything in advance and used none if the minibar. This really was not what we expected from the hotel. Although please note again the luggage/ carpark attendant was fantastic and a great help with baby luggage and car park

« Our hidden gem »

Everyone of the staff were exceptional despite the hotel accommodating the rudest guest I and each person in the hotel has ever encountered. They were both professional and courteous despite the situation. Also with the work continuing on the Carlton next door the hotel are working hard to ensure everyone's stay is as comfortable as possible.

« Brilliant hotel in an outstanding location. »

My wife and I had a really brilliant holiday once again in this hotel. My only complaint ( which is to Accor ) not the hotel , was that we were not warned about the building works going on to the hotel on the opposite side of the road , this did impact on our holiday as we could not get a room with a sea view from the balcony . I thought that Accor should have warned us about that situation. As usual the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and very pleasant and made our stay most enjoyable.
