Found the hotel easily, with google, but found shared carparks confusing. Room, dinner & breakfast all very good. However, plumbing was noisy & some light switches (room 426) were loose & the room had a strange smell which we masked with perfume.

Generally felt that the room was dated and tired and in need of refurbishing. This is probably why the price was lower than the adjacent Ibis

Staff polite and efficient, room adequate although a comfortable chair to sit in would be nice, but disappointed with carpark arrangements. I do think that staying in the hotel, buying an evening meal, should warrant free parking.

Beautiful modern hotel situated within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Rouen. Helpful staff, beautiful rooms & a great breakfast.Pleny of underground car parking on site but bends & spaces are a littrle tight with a big car. I am unable to find any fault with this hotel & would certainly go back again.

Hotel ideally located along the Seine river, walking distance from Rouen centre Parking available. Quite rooms. Good breakfast with wide variety of products including fresh fruits. Buffet regularly replenished. Very efficient staff.

Due to bereavement, we had to return home early. Contacted the hotel to try to change booking but were told no availability on earlier dates, although available on internet. Asked if they could transfer to Ibis but told no. Ended up not staying at Mercure but at Ibis in Rouen and paying twice!! Will have to reconsider how and who we book with in future!!

A pleasant experience except on arrival at 14h00 we were unable to have a meal or snack in the restaurant or bar both of which closed at 14h00 Not even a sandwich could be provided and we had been travelling to Rouen all morning.

From arrival to departure our reception and parting was friendly and professional. Both our evenings meals and breakfast were well cooked and beautifully presented. The convenience of the car park can’t be underestimated and whilst it was an extra cost, it was well worth it!

AC is a little weak -price on weekend is elevated - otherwise fair
