« Rude and unacceptable customer service. »

The front desk personnel were wonderful. Despite the language barrier, they worked with me. The restaurant wait staff and bartender the afternoon and evening of my stay was as hostle as Hitler was to the people of France during WWII. I understand Paris wait staff can be aloof, they were brutal.

« Poor customer service »

Poor customer service all along: I asked when/where the shuttle to the airport was coming - only answer I got was "in front of the hotel". After waiting 35 minutes we realized that the shuttle was actually stopping only on the side of the road and not the hotel entrance. I nearly missed my flight. The same story happened to all the customers I was with at the time. Why not put a board in the entrance explaining where the shuttle stops? I requested an iron board and iron in the room. I was told to go down to reception and grab both and transport them to my room, which I did. In all the other Accor hotels, guest services bring the board and iron to your room.

« We were grateful to get a room with you as we had made no reservations at the airport. There were, however, some issues. »

1.) We believe we were double billed for the room per our bank withdrawal data. 2.) I tore the hand grab off the wall as my legs do not bend well (Room 47). The anchors for the hand grab were not married to any structure; simply installed with molleys through the tile and wallboard. On one level I am sorry for your repair requirement. I did not sustain any injury. On another level there is the potential for someone to seriously impact the back of their head. Thank you for sending along your request. Best, Matt S.

I love stopping and eating at your hotel when I am on my way home from my work trips in France but it is something like this that years ago sent me to Novotel Suites. I have been in business more than 35 years and I do not charge a client such a fee if I think he has no other options. Loyalty is more important. My ACCOR number is 30…5461 5

« Poor reception. »

A comfortable stay spoiled only by a very poor reception experience. There were two inattentive members of staff apparently helping one customer, but not to check in. Another member of staff finally arrived and I let my 2 colleagues go first. She then checked in another customer who arrived after us even though I was clearly next. Not the service I would expect as a Gold member. The bar atmosphere was good and we ordered a pizza which we shared. We liked it so much, we ordered another. There were some people playing live music which was too loud and rather annoying. The only respite was, they stopped for the football. The checkout staff were inattentive and somewhat robotic.

Room 223: carpets are STAINED in SEVERAL places; wallpaper in bathroom is torn; air condition was anemic and thus the room was warm entire stay; some at front desk were unfriendly - some were quite nice; restaurant was excellent as were the staff. No, I would not stay there again.

« The quality of the room and hotel environment exceeded my expectations »

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was courteous and polite. The hotel restaurant had good service and good food. My only dissatisfaction was due to some noisy guests in the corridor outside my room. But this was due to the rudeness of others, not the service of the hotel.

« Not the best Mercure I have ever stayed »

Internet didn't work. Asked for a better room and the receptionist said there is no where else that has any better wifi. TV remote was out of battery and asked the the "quality service" desk and it was just a reception and receptionist told me to bring the remote to them. It was warm in the room so opened the window then there were 3 bee hive kits so I didn't feel safe to leave the window open and sleep at night. It was just not the best experience I've had before at any Mercure I have ever stayed before.

This was a very comfortable and convenient hotel for my last night before catching an early morning flight at CDG. The restaurant in the hotel was tasty with a good selection of choices. The shuttle bus comes every 20 minutes and dropped me at my terminal. There is also a breakfast buffet.

« Got reservation wrong—fortunately I had documentation. Advertised transportation when they did not have it. »

We are a business customer traveling internationally 20 times a year. My US experience has always been terrific. I was disappointed by the rudeness of the Mercury phone contact when I called about transportation from the airport. Also, when I arrived the receptionist told me we didn’t have a reservation for two rooms on April 28th. She said we had two rooms, one on the 27th and one on the 28th. Fortunately I had written confirmation. Also I spent 30 minutes at the front desk waiting for a manager to fix this. Airport transportation ended up costing us 40 euros because wrong information was given to us. And we lost 3 hours due to mistakes, miscommunications, etc.
