The TV did not work, the toilet ran every 20 minutes, the window was on the edge of the wall so the curtains did not close tight against the wall so I could not make the room dark.

Overall my stay was enjoyable. The staff were very professional and always made me feel welcome. Thanks. My only complaint was my first room had an a joining room where an occupant was smoking in the room and i felt sick from all the smoke. I accepted it for one night but then the second I complained and the staff witnessed the strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room and moved me to another room. This was inconvenient where it is a no smoking hotel however the staff were accommodating in allocating another room.

As a frequent traveler to/through Paris for may years, after trying several hotels in Roissy en France I concluded that the Mercure Paris Roissy CDG is the most ideal hotel to stay when transiting through Paris. It is welcoming, clean, with friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are comfortable and well kept.It is only a short walk from the village centre, a few minutes away from the airport with regular shuttle buses to/from the airport. It's good value for money and the dining/bar services are very good and at reasonable prices.

I slept the whole time needless to say after taking CDGval shuttle at Pink Station, through parking lot and construction site to wrong hotel where I met over 100 people in the lobby (no exaggeration). I literally went into to closed restaurant to calm down for a good 15 minutes still not knowing I was at the wrong hotel. Thank goodness the other Mercure Hotel drove me to your hotel after seeing I was very distraught. Maybe your website should be more explicit about where and what the pink shuttle is and that there are 2 Mercure Hotels. ? Yes, I am 66 years old and a widow, maybe I should not be traveling alone any longer!!!!!!

« Fine hotel for a stay near CDG airport. »

We were happy enough with our stay at the hotel. Room was a nice size and in good condition overall. The best part was it's proximity to the small town of Roissey-en-France. It's a great spot to spend a few hours strolling around and having a meal. Restaurants there are very expensive but we found a spot selling delicious 1/2 chicken dinners, large enough for 2, for 10€. It is a a bit of a distance from the airport so give yourself plenty of time if you use the shuttle. It's shared with other hotels and can be delayed quite a bit by traffic problems.

« Worst Accor hotel experience ever! »

Never staying here again. The hotel does not uphold the standard of service you expect for Accor and Mercure. The only positive thing to say is that it was clean and new facilities. However the staff is extremely rude and don’t seem to care about proving good service to guests. Especially being a Gold member I didn’t feel my loyalty was worth it at this property. I have had better service staying at other brands where I am not a Gold member. I even contacted customer service through the online form and on twitter but no one has responded to me as yet. My loyalty to Accor is quickly disappearing. A few things that caused my stay to be so uncomfortable are: 1. The staff not even trying the least to be welcoming. I had to call the front desk for 20 mins before getting an answer. Then when I called the restaurant for room service a guy picked up and yelled this is the wrong number and hung up. I then called the front desk to tell them how this experience upset me and they did nothing! Not even apologize. 2. The walls are thin and you can hear guests from other rooms who were so loud. I had to call down one night at 3am to ask them to reduce the noise. 3. At check out they added breakfast to my bill which I didn’t have on my reservation or agreed to pay and they charged it to my card without my consent. At check out I had to request a refund. No apology there either. 4. They don’t take attention to detail. I had requested for a spoon to be sent to my room with room service it arrived without. I had requested to pay for the room service upon delivery to not add it to my room. They added it to my room. The young lady who delivered it did not seem to speak English so she didn’t understand what I was saying. She promised to check and get back to me. She never got back to me. I have stayed at Accor hotels at all level of the brand from Sofitel to ibis around the world but this is the first time I was extremely disappointed with the brand. The general manager of this property needs to do some serious training with the staff. I travel for business monthly to Paris and Amsterdam and always stay at Accor hotels but I am reconsidering this decision.

I checked in on-line, but when I arrived there was no key available and had to go through the whole process again. Also, was not offered a drink coupon...had to ask for that as well.

« A real gem of a hotel at CDG »

The hotel is really lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms a good a size. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel. The restaurant is amazing - such fresh and simple food. the coffee is sublime. We were also able to pay to access out room at 9am which was great after a 36 hour flights.

I had a very nice room and very nice stay however I am still fighting with your team to receive a correct bill. The hotel tried to overcharge me a breakfast I call them and they said this is normal we are doing it with EVERYONE !!!!!!!! WTF ?

We always stay at this hotel. We were surprised that this year the room we stayed in was in poor condition with cracked walls, missing plaster, acurtain partially hanging off the fixture. It was unpleasant to stay in such a room. The bed was clean and well made. I thought about complaining but didn't since we were flying out the next day. However, I think it let Mercure's reputation down.

« Bus ordeal »

The hotel is fair. Rather old and with tired carpets but OK. The rooms are correct, the bathroom acceptable. Little noise, the food on the lower passable standard. The staff routinely friendly. The problem is the shuttle bus. It used to be a bus for the Mercure, Roissy alone. It stopped at several different terminals of CDG 2. Now it is a multiple hotel service bus with one stop at CDG 2 and it is a nightmare! Just for the bus, AVOID the Mercure. Choose a hotel with a private bus. The Hilton, The Marriot or avoid the hustle of the bus totally and stay at the in the airport hotel itself. The hotels are newer, the coming and going is relatively easy. Yes, they cost a bit more but you avoid the horror of the Mercure bus. If you a loyal Mercure customer and you absolutely want to stay, take a taxi from/and to the airport, it will cost you 50 Euro more in total but it is worth every cent.

More than adequate for the one night stay. Be careful however, there are two Mercure hotels near CDG. We went to the one we were told to go to only to find out it was not the right one. There is no shuttle between them.
