Breakfast choices very good Bed a little soft. Duvet a little heavy for summer. The drink available in the room was no good as the cup and milk capsule were too small The spotlights at the side of the bed was a good point

I found the rooms small but very clean. The bathroom was again clean but having the shower over the bath made it difficult for my wife to climb over the high bath and I must admit I also found it difficult especially when it was wet. The second disappointed was paper coffee cups in the room which made drinking in the bedroom very difficult, we expected proper cups in a four star hotel. The breakfast was adequate but we both found it expensive at approx £15. The pool area, gym was very well kept.

4 nights of rest and relaxation. 5 days of seeing the sights of Normandy. You can almost walk to the restaurants down by the beach. But, after a day of walking the WWII French Freedom trail we were just to tiered to try. Plenty of street parking. We never tried the hotel restaurant.

We relaxed, we slept well, we were comfortable in a very good location. Of course when the lift is installed it will be even better. Service in the lounge bar was prompt and friendly - lovely place to spend some time.

« Hotel was a bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel »

The people in the hotel were great, very kind. The room/hotel was another story. Most of the lights were not working, switches were not opening any light. Switch covers were not really fixed. The shower was very very hard to make it work. Had to pull really really hard to make it work. The hotel did not had a restaurant per say. There was the "Annexe de Cabourg", but it's not the hotel's restaurant, so it was closed on Sunday and Monday. So for two days, I had to head into town to find something to eat. The swimming pool/hammam/sauna was great tho. So maybe this is normal, but it seems a bit cheap for a 4 star hotel. I'll stick to the 5 star hotel :)

It was nice. I was surprised not to have any heating in my room and that I had to contact the front desk about it. I also was unaware how to turn on the shower. I travel a lot and usually don't have a problem with the shower/bath fixtures. The front desk clerk was very helpful. I am just wondering if this hotel needs some upgrading.
