The staff at Hôtel Mercure Omaha Beach are simply superb in the service they provide and go above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay. We had to book at very short notice as our ferry from Cherbourg to Ireland was cancelled with 5 hours notice we needed to secure a bed for the night. We phoned and spoke with Estelle and explained our situation and without any fuss she accommodated to our needs and had us booked into a very spacious, clean and quite family room within 5 minutes. I can only highly recommend this hotel if you want a quite stay and a good night sleep within short distance of Bayeux. Breakfast was excellent . This is why when in France I will only book with the Mercure chain of hotels.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. The food (we had both dinner from the restaurant and breakfast as a part of the buffet) was delicious, fresh, and well priced. Drinks were also well made. We had the best time and would 100% recommend this hotel.

The hotel is well located, and the amenities are pretty good considering it’s not in a large city. Shame there was no masseuse on site, but it’s not surprising considering how are it is to find people! The team was absolutely lovely and super friendly and helpful throughout.

Beautiful grounds but for such a 4 star, there was no lift to second floor. We had to go to first floor and circuitous find stairs to second floor. No hair dryer. Towels limited. Great for golfers but not for a one night stay.
