« They Stood on Their Heads! »

From greeting & check-in to departure Le Cloche was 5 stars. Wonderfully located, friendly & helpful staff, interesting food and a delightful attitude, Le Cloche was the perfect place to stay in Dijon. Above & beyond happened when a late dinner left us stranded across town without taxis. However, one call to the hotel and within 10 minutes a Front Reception employee arrived -in his own vehicle to drive us back to hotel. What a wonderful surprise-alone worthy of 5 stars! Thank you!

« Very satisfied, would change two little things about the room »

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The service at the hotel was friendly and very accommodating. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. We did not care for the toilet being in a separate closet. It was a little claustrophobic. Making it a separate space while open to the sink would have been preferable. In addition I don't understand why such a nice hotel could not put one full length mirror anywhere in the space. There were a couple of places where the mirror could have gone behind a door and therefore not detracted from the chic look of the room. We had read that as guests we would be given a gift or a surprise experience, neither occurred.

We are staying a night per 2 months in this hotel and this is always a pleasure because we are feeling privilegiated and as on our own house. The staff is available and attentive to our needs and wishes. This time, we were upgraded to a Suite. This room was beautiful but we were not enjoying it due to the poor lighting of the bathroom and some damaged furnishures, that are not acceptable in a such level hotel. We have regretted our usual room.

« Beautiful Hotel - Fantastic location - Great Service »

This was our first visit to Dijon and we wanted to be sure that we will enjoy it. That was one of the reasons we choose the Grand Hôtel La Cloche Dijon, as it was highly recommended and also for being part of the Mc Gallery Hotels Collection that it is a symbol of excellent quality. Our stay could not be better, it is located in one of the main squares in Dijon and just a few blocks away from the Rail Station. The Hotel by itself is really beautiful, an splendid set up with one of the best Restaurants in the city. The service is remarkable good, people in all the areas of the Hotel are kind and ready to provide you with any information you may need. The rooms are big, clean and nice, impeccable all the way. Our stay was short but we very much enjoy this city as well as this magnificent Hotel. We hope to come back soon.

I have stayed at this hotel most years for the last twenty five years and will continue to do so. The staff are very polite and attentive and I enjoy the welcomecat reception and the restaurant which is extremely good. « Not what you can expect from a socalled luxury hotel »

Voiturier ok. The car was quickly taken to the private garage when we came but when we checked out, a bus was parked in front of the hotel and there was no room left for our car! The hotel is packed with busses of tourists. No one cares for individuals and no time either. We spent 3 nights but our cards expired each day at 12 and we had to renew them every day?? We had a dog and so we told the desk to make the room while we were walking it, about 2 hours . Everytime we came back nothing had been done. So 3 days without any cleaning! On the day we left we could not have breakfast because the bus was eating and there was no seat available. But nevertheless we had to pay for it.

Lovely hotel in centre of town, with nice internal and external bar. Very modern fittings, throughout the hotel and in the bedroom. Very comfy beds. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and had separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom had a small bath and no shower even over the bath. A walk in shower would have fitted perfectly in the space. In this day and age no shower is a negative! To sit in the bath and spray yourself was not pleasant . So great hotel, but beware of shower issue!

Hotel was beautiful, good location, staff were great. The room temperatures are not acceptable for me. The thermometer too complicated to operate. Staff came the first night to change the setting to 26. When I got back after a day of wine tasting, my room was reset to 20. It takes 3 hours for the temperature to warm up - I was tired and needed to rest and I could not stay in my room. I can't breathe air that cold regardless how many blankets you give me. I was outraged. I will not stay with you again. Your hotel discriminates against those who NEED warm temperature with your stupid eco friendly thermometer.

We came to the Grand Hotel la Cloche in Dijon for our honeymoon. We often come to Dijon for weekends and have always stayed at the Mercure and Holiday Inn. This time, as we got married last week, I thought I would treat us to a 5 star experience. When we checked in (22:30 at night after a long drive), we were allocated room 410. When we got to the room, it was clearly nothing like the pictures on your website. The room was far smaller than expected, there was no chair and round table as pictured in the superior room images. It looked exactly like a standard room. We were exhausted so went to sleep. The next day, I asked at reception if we were in the right room. I was told that it was indeed a superior room. I showed the gentleman on reception the images on your website for a standard and superior room, explaining that the room we had looked identical to a standard room. It had the same lights, desk etc and had none of the additional space nor features as pictured in a superior room. The gentleman was very polite and offered to switch us to another room. We changed and the difference was incredible! The new room (315) had the red chair, the round table and all of the space that was shown in the pictures on your website. I was extremely impressed with the room. The staff were even so kind as to put rose petals on the bed for our honeymoon. Whilst the gentleman on reception was adamant that the first room was a superior room, I am quite certain that it is not. It did not have any of the features nor the space. I am taking the time to write this to you in the hopes that I can get a refund. I clearly did not get what I paid for on the first night. The difference between the rooms was not simply variation. There were none of the additional features in the first room that differentiate a superior room from a standard one. I would welcome a phone call on +4… to discuss the matter. My expectation, when booking the first part of our honeymoon in a 5 star superior room was to get what we saw in the picture, at the very least. My new wife was very underwhelmed indeed. No the start I had hoped for.
