« Very small, for famillies and staff answers you by blaming us »

Very well welcomed on our arrival by the guy of the night shift. The responsable on the reception in the morning was like blaming us taking this hotel and like they did us a service giving us a room for 4 knowing that when we were reserving we were never told that the room is small for 2 adults and 2 children and that they will make us a favour.

« Smelly hotel. Disapointed. »

Sewers smell in the lobby. Rooms very small. Children beds are small and dangerous. Kids bumped their head while sleeping.

During a stressful time as a result of mother being in Intensive Care at Timone hospital the hotel was the perfect place to relax and escape. Friendly, efficient, clean and comfortable.

I booked a room for three for one night to accompany my daughter for an examination at the university of Marseille. Decent quality for a decent price. I especially appreciated the welcome, the breakfast and the staff. The possibility to use the parking for one night at a very low price was another good surprise. The only difficulty was the gap between what I had booked from the internet and the real bill.

The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to tolerate our elementary French and communicate hte important things to us in English. The reception area, lounge and dining areas were clean and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful . They served us lunch although we arrived only minutes inside the dining times. Food was OK. The room was very small but clean and had a small shower room and toilet. Only one towel provided per person. The beds were not comfortable and were fitted with mattress toppers which kept sliding . The window opened on hte main very noisy boulevard so we had to rely on the air conditioning to keep cool.

Lift did not work properly. Very small room for 2 adults. Lobby smelt very bad which is poor for hotel 1st impression. Website did no clearly indicate car parking facilities. Toilet paper the worst i have ever seen.

Husband woke with extreme back pain from hard bed. Took him 30 mins to be able to stand upright. Arrived for breakfast at 9.30, to find 2 stale breadrolls left ONLY. No viennoiseries. Coffee good at least. Had to ask for food, told none left. Eventually given 2 slices ham to go with bread. Others guests also poorly treated.

This time we had some bad luck staying at Timone. Service in the restaurant could be imporved, at evening as we had dinner the male servant was absoutely OK . In the morning when we had breakfast starting at 9h15 (after visit to the hospital before) the young lady serving started to clean up the resto about that time, putting chairs on the table tops etc. There were some other guests also reacting on this, it was a bit stressing to my view. We had some rest in hte room afterwards waiting for our next visit to the hostpital. then we found some animals in the bed. I can provide photos if you like. I took these creaturs down to the reception.

Room was OK to IBIS standard, TV was new and big. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely OK and there was no serious alternative nearby. Garage was OK and the cost was low for a big city. Isolation from traffic noise from the avenue could be better as the door to the room and the bathroom.

I booked this particular hotel because it was close to the hospital where my son in law had been admitted whilst on holiday. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. We needed help getting medical forms sent to us and they did everything they could to assist. I would especially like to mention Celine who works on reception in the evenings. Please convey our thanks to the staff. we really appreciated their kindness.
