My stay was for 7 nights in May 2018. I found the hotel with excellent service, location and general customer care!! I am a repeat customer for quite a few years now. The location of this hotel is awesome and the best in Sydney CBD and if you like the darling harbour highlight.

« went smoothly eventhough encountered a few hiccups »

first and foremost, when I first booked online way prior to end of april 2018 which should allow you to buy $1 breakfast as advertised online. lo and below, the page disappeared after I chosen my room. so I thought I could talk to restaurant supervisor about the breakfast deal but this was the hiccup - no way. the upgraded room was a blessing. not far to walk to darling harbour's shops etc. services were good.

Great loacation. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms and hotel were very well appointed. The restaurant was simple, but had a lot of choice, the food was very good as was the view. Overall a great place to stay.

« Very expensive breakfast »

Disappointing . Besides was cold in room during night as outdoor temperature below 10 C, we encountered this others issues: - We asked check out at 18:00 instead of 11:00 and hotel manager told this is possible only pay one more day. I explained to this manager that we paid already by our mistake one extra day before arrive, but he just wanted get paid for one more night. - when we check out we observed on bill that we have been charged with 3x 118 AUD for breakfast, even we didn't eat it. Is unbelievable. I don't understand what are computers systems for, if you don't have correct such information. - Also breakfast is extremely expensive and for no reason, as breakfast food is poor.

« Cold low flow shower, lumpy pillows and no sign-posting to the light rail »

For nearly $300 a night I expected more than a shower which took 3 minutes to run warm and even then it was hard to find the water, followed by pillows which were unyieldingly bulky and neck twisting; I ended up using the thinner cushion as my pillow. Good features: the view was good, the room spacious, and the staff courteous. If you stay here make sure you have the concierge show you exactly which lift to go down and which steps to use to find the exit to the light rail at the corner of the car park, which was, as far as I could tell, completely un-signposted.

Once again, I wanted to use the gym but the elliptical trainer was broken , as it has been for over 3 months now. I really stunk in there as well. Could not use in that state.
