We stayed at INK last year for the ISE Tradeshow and enjoyed the hotel and location. This was the reason for coming back... service was very good. I felt the breakfast was a little down in quality from the previous year...

ROOM 118 WAS VERY NOISY FROM 6AM TO 9.30AM WITH DELIVERIES ALL MORNING THAT SOUNDED LIKE THE WINDOW WAS WIDE OPEN. THIS WAS EVERY MORNING INCLUDING SUNDAY. NO ROOM WAS AVAILABLE WITH A BATH. BREAKFAST HAD A LIMITED VEGETARIAN HOT BREAKFAST, THEY HAD NO SAUSAGE ON 2 MORNINGS AND NO BACON OR SAUSAGE ON ONE. SURELY THEY KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE STAYING OVER AND THEY USE THIS FOOD EVERY DAY. COULDN'T SOMEONE GO TO A LOCAL SHOP? THIS WAS WITH OVER AN HOUR LEFT OF BREAKFAST SERVICE TOO. THE GLASS DOOR IN THE BATHROOM AND OPEN PLAN, CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE BED GIVES NO PRIVACY AT ALL. WE PAID FOR AN UPGRADE TO AN EXECUTIVE ROOM, THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL AND OFFERED NEXT TO NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EXECUTIVE, SUPERIOR OR DELUXE. MY HUSBAND LEFT HIS GLOVES IN THE BAR. WE ASKED 5 TIMES BETWEEN US IF ANYONE HAD SEEN THEM OR HANDED THEM IN. THE BAR MANAGER WAS ASKED, RECEPTION CHECKED LOST PROPERTY AND DID NOT FIND THEM. ON THE LAST NIGHT MY HUSBAND ASKED AGAIN AND THE BARMAN SAID HE'D SEEN SOME IN A DRAWER BEHIND THE BAR. LUCKILY THIS WAS THEM, BUT WHY WEREN'T THEY GIVEN STRAIGHT TO RECEPTION FOR LOST PROPERTY?? HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE THEM THEN WHILST IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE...

I stayed in multiple so called 4-5 stars hotels. They are cold and that is why I booked through AirBnb. Ink is warm & intimate / staff is welcoming / room is decorated with taste. You changed my opinion about hotels.

We had a great stay. Excellent staff made us feel most welcome and were very helpful, communicating in perfect English! Ate in the restaurant and drank in the bar, our meal was delicious as were the cocktails. Good breakfast too with particularly good coffee. Lovely room (double deluxe) with treats, turn down service with a chocolate on the pillow, nice toiletries, comfy bed. Tiny, tiny issue in that there wasn't anywhere to hang bathrobes specially when they were wet.

Fabulous, unique hotel located a 10 minute walk from the train station. From the moment we arrived until we, unfortunately had to depart, we experienced an atmosphere of family. It was really nice to see how reception, restaurant and bar as well as housekeeping team interacted with each other and their guests. Rooms were very comfortable with touches reflecting the history of the hotel. The espresso machine, robes and slippers plus the chocolates adorning the pillows and other areas of the room were a treat. Breakfast was great....offering a wide variety of options to fuel the body for a day of touring your lovely city. You have an amazing team of people in your employ and we are sure you are very proud of them. Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Ink hotel Amsterdam. Sylvana F. and Cleveland B..

Fantastic room. And the hotel was bang in the centre of the city. Nice and close to the main train station with regular trains to the airport. Staff are helpfull and courteous.

« Stylish hotel, warm welcome, but some hick-ups »

I stayed 1 night (business trip). The room is very nice and stylish, makes you feel welcome. Following hick-ups though: - very small space in the bathroom to put personal cosmetics - extremely uncomfortable pillows (far too thick and hard, and unfortunately all 4 are the same), I had a really bad sleep - very very long wait for taxi in the morning (even I had ordered before leaving the room), it took 20+ mins to arrive and I was late for an important meeting. I had asked in the evening if I need to pre-order a taxi in advance for the morning as I really need to be on time, but was confirmed this was not necessary, but calling in the morning was sufficient. - the food at restaurant was not nice at all (farmer's pate was very fatty), staff was not friendly at all. When I wanted to use drinks voucher I was told it wasn't possible to use it for the large beer I had ordered as it is only valid for a small beer...

Good hotel, staff, idea. Please add heated towel rail. Towels are always wet, so we asked twice more and changed every day — just because it is wet (not dirty). It is not good for nature.

The stay was good however there were two issues. 1) there is a constant noise coming from the street side of the room. This is very annoying when you wake up half way through the night 2) the water was cold in the morning for a shower and the temperature controller on the shower doesnt have a great range . With that said the stay was still nice.

Fantastic personnel team from Reservations to Reception and Restaurant. Rooms are beautifully appointed - high quality amenities and bed linen (bath towels were a little outdated though). Mineral water and Nespresso coffee in rooms really adds a nice touch! Restaurant- dinner a little bit bland (caesar salad and burger). Breakfast good, an option to order a poached egg/boiled egg would be appreciated. Personnel are truly ourstanding, professional and friendly. Overall a memorable experience! Thank you!!

From the check in moment I felt that everything was really change to the better since last time I was reserved the same hotel few years ago , reception and room services and everything was very good , only I had a problem with the room cupboard,it was really very small and I had also a problem with the shower that I could not cold down the heat water , but as you know it’s all about people So I can not complain with the very good well trained people you have
