We booked to stay at this hotel as we were going to the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC. The staff were all very helpful and polite, even at 3 O'clock in the morning when we arrived. The room was clean and had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Breakfast was of a good standard on both days, with thoughtful touches, including a "Gluten Free Corner" The NEC is accessed via a free monorail link situated in the airport building, just a minute walk from the hotel. All in all a very enjoyable experience

Room was spacious, staff were friendly. Landed at 11.45 and was in bed by 12.35. Only draw back. Bar not open. Wanted to buy some sparkling water for my room and maybe a glass of wine to unwind after journey. The receptionist was very helpful and got me a 'carafe' of tap water and brought it to my room.

Had stayed at this hotel previously and room met our expectations. The breakfast was good but the food was only warm (would have preferred it hot). Hotel is excellently situated for a late arrival and departure the following morning.

We were told when booking at the hotel we had to register there before parking then found out it was 5-6 miles away not a very good drive in the rush hour traffic.

checked into recently refurbished rooms on floor 5. Nice décor and overall very comfortable and stylish. Restaurant experience in the evening not so good as I believe due to a fire extinguisher issue in the kitchen the grill and fryers were out of action limiting the menu dramatically. However the food we did finally manage to choose was of a very good standard.

I needed an overnight stay before flying from Birmingham airport. It couldn’t have been any closer - it was right opposite the door into the departure area ! Very close to the car park - just a few minutes walk. There was a problem with the door keycard system on their computers when I arrived so one of the reception staff took me to my room. The card still worked the lights but not the door. I went out for a few hours and when I returned they were able to give me a working keycard. Sound insulation was brilliant. I couldn’t hear any noise from outside what-so-ever. Shower was great and there were small bottles of shampoo and shower gel. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on the food. Staff in reception were very helpful in giving me directions to the Resorts World complex which saved me the (unnecessary) cost of a taxi. I will definitely stay again next time I fly from Birmingham.

fine, room clean , only complaint would be that sofa bed was rock hard, very very uncomfortable. So much so that sleeping on top of the thin duvet improved comfort. Its not that i was looking for a soft matress, quite the opposite but there was insufficient padding between the sofa frame and the occupant

Nice reception, excellent staff all round, excellent Bar and Food services (which I will use again), and the whole place was clean. However, quite simply for the price of the room, and given the brand new hotels surrounding which I should have chosen and which were £10 cheaper, the room provided was worn out and in need of an upgrade.

Once I got into your hotel via the car park barrier gate and Once in it was then difficult to get out as the car park people wanted to charge me even though your lady at reception said it should be free and I had to go to the car park hut to sort it out.. Once I got into the Hotel it was a great experience. The staff were helpful and pleasant, the room and bed comfortable. Evening meal fine and very convenient for the airport and my early check-in.
