Having booked a superior room the night before a long haul flight we were disappointed in the room as it looked shabby and in need of re-decorating.The bathroom although clean needed re grouting and their was a lack of toiletries.The reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly

Bar staff was very nice but terribly slow. Also i ordered and midium-rare burger and was told « the chef » can only prepare it well done. What kind of chef cannot cook a burger to his customer taste? Or is the meat not good and need to be over cooked ? Finally i was upgraded to an executive room, which may sound nice except the only thing different is the coffee machine, but there was only decaf, no regular coffee.

Location is perfect when visiting the show. Room small but good. We stayed for two nights. We paid more then £ 400,00 for a double room excluding food for two nights. Breakfast no good, dinner no good. A high price, but very little luxury.They have changed the breakfast. Was good, but they wanted to save money and made everything smaller. And they now serve very bad coffee. Old classic English coffee that looks more like strong thee. In the evening we had a hamburger that was burned, very black. How could a cook serve this???We complained, and received new ones. The waiter was good and very friendly.After coming there for more than 10 years, I don’t think that I will come back.

Best location for meet and greet and departures hall. Checked in by a pleasant efficient young man who made sure we knew about the facilities and where our room was. Ate in the restaurant the meal and wine was good if slightly pricey but on par with other airport hotels.

checked in early and was offered the only room available which was an Exec room at additional £20. Having stayed in hotels globally over the last 20-30 years, I can say I was surprised at what Novatel thought classed as an exec room and glad I never had the basic one. The one very surprising fact was a toilet separate from the bath/shower etc. but was in the smallest cupboard I have ever seen... A320 aircraft have bigger spaces!

The bed was very uncomfortable pillows need replacing. Toilet could barely get round the door and im slimish. Kept awake almost all night by the fridge light coming on every 10 to 15mins it lit the room up, I was unable to close door leading to bathroom as cases blocked the door and they were too heavy for me to move and husband was asleep. It ended up being a disappointing stay over for the airport

I was on a buisness trip for a meeting outside Birmingham. I arrived at the airport the night before and left the day afterwards. The hotel is within walking distance from the terminal. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was quiet and clean.

Easy arrival as checked in online. Was told atcheck in I had prepaid which I was surprised about. Did get an email in the morning to say I owed for our stay fortunately I checked my emails before I left so could pay there & then.
