A good hotel with its biggest plus is its closeness to the airport. Comfortable beds, Very helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was disappointing, cool coffee, poor continental , eggs solid and had to wait sometime for bacn to be cooked - not good value for money

I left my computer in the room safe. When I arrived at my destination, Northampton, I realized my computer was in the safe and not ion my bag. I called the hotel, they went promptly to the room and recovered. my computer. Thank you Novotel!!

near the airport biggest benefit, quiet nice room, good bed with good pillow, good breakfast, I like that room can be made completely dark, I don't like noise of airco.

We stayed one night before our early flight out of Birmingham. There is a good restaurant and separate bar also serving meals. We had a nice dinner, reasonable prices, followed by a good night’s sleep. Rooms are well insulated from any aircraft and vehicle noise.

« It was like staying in a Hostel »

We were given a twin disabled room which was very unpleasantly decorated, it felt like we were staying in a 2 star hotel/hostel. I called reception to explain that I’d booked a double room and was advised that they’d given all the rooms away due to cancelled flights even though I had booked and payed for my room 5 months in advance. The holiday we were going on was our honeymoon and this was a very disappointing start to our special time away.

« Great overnight stay. »

Had a great overnight stay before a very early flight the next morning. Check in was easy, straightforward and the guy on reception very friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable and quiet with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The bar area had great decor, friendly staff and a feel-good vibe late on. The restaurant looked and smelled good but we didn't eat there. Overall, a great experience topped with a 1 minute walk to the terminal!! Will definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend.

Having booked a superior room the night before a long haul flight we were disappointed in the room as it looked shabby and in need of re-decorating.The bathroom although clean needed re grouting and their was a lack of toiletries.The reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly

Bar staff was very nice but terribly slow. Also i ordered and midium-rare burger and was told « the chef » can only prepare it well done. What kind of chef cannot cook a burger to his customer taste? Or is the meat not good and need to be over cooked ? Finally i was upgraded to an executive room, which may sound nice except the only thing different is the coffee machine, but there was only decaf, no regular coffee.
