Staff were curtious but not enough staff so service was slow. Reception staff need better training especially in communication. Pick up drivers not informed of guest waiting in the reception - 3 times.

« An excellent hotel in stunning surroundings »

We were very impressed with the warmth and friendliness of all staff. The choice of food and choices in the main restaurant were extremely comprehensive and always of a high standard. Our room was always cleaned regularly and very well. The garden areas were beautifully maintained and always attractive. Towels and any items supplied in our room were always replaced quickly. The location of the hotel, so close to the beach was very convenient , especially as my husband has mobility problems. If he needed help, it was always offered and available. Thank you Sofitel - we would love to return in the future.

Super...Everythink worked very well. Kids were truly taken care with facilities. Also loved free services like snorkeling & glass boat & other water sport equipment Service. Breakfast was also bueno. Room was spacious and Service also.

My stay at Sofitel was good but there were issues which need improvement. The dormitory room should be properly cleaned, since the floor was not properly swept there were small insects all over, and they made me dis comfortable by biting me and a lot of dust under the sofas and tables seen everyday.

We would like to thank Girisha, Sanjay, Yash, Ashley, Fawaz (Front Desk), Verlaine & Elodie (SoSpa) and Muj, Wesley, Noëlle, Keahaelen, Ajay (Tepanyaki Team @ Ming Court) and Shelia (House keeping) for making our trip so amazing. Your customer service was on point However, on a minor point the Jacaranda Restaurant food did not meet our expectations and some of the seafood served was frozen and not fresh. The Lunch shack managed by Parvind was amazing. The steam room in the SoSpa requires updating.

The lay-out of the hotel area was good. Service was good but a bit slow. The biggest negative happening was the Velentine evening dinner on the beach. When we (my wife and me) had been sitting 20 minutes in the seats, we noticed that our trousers were very wet (back side), because then seat pillows were totally wet. My wife wanted to go to our suite (nr 810) and changed her trousers. She came back after 10 minutes and told me that the key card did not work. We had to go to the reception inn order to activate it again. The dinner was destroyed because these happenings. I was sitting with the wet trousers during the dinner.

we come for work and stay twice a year, the hotel is lovely. What would be better for us, is considering how often we stay, it would great if our details could be stored on file, so there's a quick check in. This is what happens in other hotels, even card details etc, so that when we arrive you just hand over a room key.

« Nice location with good beach. Slow internet and slow service. Good for a laid back day but not for business. »

Had a very poor check-in experience and delays in response for services. The location was excellent although internet was not good. The hotel should ensure that the plug points are moved to international standards as you should not assume that only Europeans travel. I could not charge my computer or phone as the sockets were not usable. New Zealand dollar is also not exchanged in the hotel or anywhere near abouts. Overall this made for a poor experience which is not what you expect from a five star hotel brand like Accor.
