The Hotel is quite nice with beautiful garden. The food is really good and Kids club as well. The room was OK with lot of space and all the facilities, but quite old and need to be renewed. The swimming pool is nice but cold (should be good to have another one warm, even if small). The boat/sailing club need definitely to change their mind.. Always searching excuses to not let us practice what we want and could do....

Was a short stay. Good experience. SPA fell short of expectations. While only a 30 min was available, the actual time seemed liked 20 minutes and then the shower in the spa did not work nor was the hot water working.

I got checked in late. Was supposed to check in at 15hr but was checked in at 16hr. Though,the front desk manager was very helpful and polite,he gave us 1 of the rooms to use till we checked out late, that is instead of noon,checked out at 16hr. The next we went for lunch at the Tamassa restaurant near the beach. Waited 1 hour for food, but fortunately, we were offered lunch for free. But,we did not really appreciate the attitude of the staffs, as were treated like black people and priority was given to tourists. One of the waitresses just kept staring at us awkwardly. Moreover, we overheard 2 male waiters using foul language in creole. I dnt think its a very professional manner to behave. Nevertheless,we really enjoyed the sports activities. Great fun,especially when when we were offered late checkout. Thnk you.

The hotel is old and worn out. It is old fashioned that one cannot wear shorts for dinner. It is uncomfortable for guests to reserve deckchairs in the morning. Too little international food and poor variety in food served for dinner. The safe in the room failed and we had to chase for three days before this was changed. The fact that the hotel markets itself as a 5 star hotel is to deceive customers. Service at the beach bar was simply very poor. When the problems arose no one took responsibility for fixing (room key, safe).

We had a lovely stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is extremely good. Beach and poolside are lovely. One minor point, but it’s the only one ... spa, massages, treatments are extremely expensive.

In general good. I had booked a Ocean view room, and in my view I had the boat house which I did not appreciate. I contacted the front desk and complained. They world look into the situation, and come back to me. I never heard anything after. Very disappointing and not a5 star service!!

The buffet was the almost the same each day and the special dinner menu organised for the closing of event as Tamasa restaurant was below standard / not appreciated by most participants. lack of variety . it leaves a bad impression

We were a family of 4 and had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday. This was driven predominantly by the amazing customer service and the friendly, helpful interactions with had with all staff. Importantly this was also true for my 2 children as much as my wife and I who were all treated so well, which made our holiday very memorable. Special thanks and recognition needs to go to the following people. - Ravi and Laurent in the restaurants during lunch and dinner, who looked after us so well, Laurent was great at dinner and Ravi knew the kids hot chocolate orders for breakfast and warm bread at lunch every day ! - The whole spa team who were amazing for our visit to the spa. Thanks to the team that looked after our 2 kids, and the ladies who gave my wife and I excellent massages. Thanks also for making us so welcome in the spa with our special treat organized by Hansley - Johee the Teppanyaki Chef who provided us with the most wonderful dinner experience, a very skillful chef who provided great food - Hansley who was fantasatic for our whole holiday - always checking in with us to ensure everything was OK and for organising the coconuts in the spa - this was a very special memory for the children - Parvesh, who like Hansley ensure everything went smoothly with the holiday and for the very kind hospitality after our entry into our room was a little delayed on arrival . As an Accor priority member I have had the opportunity to spend time over the years in a number of Sofitels around the world. Often the service and hotels are good, but the team in Mauritius made this trip very special so thank you very much from all of us.
