« One night mid week business trip »

The mix of the golf club with the Novotel brand combines to make a refreshing version of the classic Novotel experience. A better bar and restaurant than sometimes found, with the added bonus of being able to choose the golf restaurant as an alternative.

« Asked for quiet rooms but only got noisy rooms »

At arrival I asked for quiet room at specific side of hotel, but got first room at elevator and after asking for other room got room at wrong side of hotel where it is always noisy (kitchen noises). That while hotel was almost empty and plenty of rooms were available.

« Great facilities, nice hotel »

Hotel was really nice. My only complaint was that I ordered a drink at the bar in the evening, however, the member of staff forgot my drink despite coming back to the bar numerous times. As I am a courteous person I waited expecting the staff to deliver shortly however 20 minutes went by and still no drink. Eventually I ordered again. Other than this excellent hotel.

« Great service and staff! »

I visit regularly and am always very happy with the service that is received. It would be great if there could be exercise mats in the gym and also some weights. It would also be nice if there was conditioner included in all the hotel rooms as well.

« 6 times need to call for invoice »

I have made six telephone calls to ask for my invoice to be emailed, Every time you tell me you going to send it I am still waiting for the invoice it’s starting to get absolutely ridiculous can someone please have a look into this

« Clean, spacious hotel, professional and lovely staf »

We arrived late from Calais. Family of 4 with two tired and hungry children, plus a dog. We were greeted so well and thankfully the restaurant was open until 10.30pm. This was a saving grace. All staff from evening until morning were polite, kind, relaxed and happy.

« Mainly OK, but... »

After refurbishing the Hotel has a clearly improved quality of customer experience (e. g. rooms). Nevertheless there is still room for improvements on service-level at the bar and in the restaurant in view of real friendlyness, organization and respectful interaction between the service persons. It is not acceptable to get ice for a drink taken out by non-washed hand from the ice container.

Rooms, food and service are good. it will be interesting to know when the pool/sauna will open. Also the gym needs updating or improving in terms of having free weights and some weight machines to bring the hotel up to a leading standard
