« Nice hotel, shame about the service »

The main gripe is that I received an email with my booking confirmation which states that food and beverage is available in the bars all day from 6am/8am to midnight. On Saturday afternoon upon finishing golf at around 5pm, we asked the bar staff for food and was told that there was none available until later that day. Surely as a hotel attached to a golf club you must expect people to want food all day...….This wasnt an isolated incident, last year when we stayed we asked for omelette at breakfast, which was clearly advertised, only to be told there was none.

A reall nice stay as usual. I would have given a 10 but you have changed the food menu which is disappointing and some of your new staff are not as good as your regular team.

Hotel is clean with ftiendly and accomodating staff. On a warm summer day, i just hope that the aircon would be cooler. During my stay, there was no cold air from the aircon during the day, cold air would only be avaipable after 10pm.

The Hotel Reception Personnel were excellent , very friendly , very courteous and always ready to smile and enjoy some small talk with the Customers. I give them 100%. The Bar staff were also very nice and helpful. HOWEVER. the hotel menu was very, very limited and staying with you for 7days, gave us very little choice. We had glorious weather and played golf with the Aspirations Group, which was fine. . although the "Final Dinner" on the 10th was slow, long, laborious and the food was cold.

It was a lovely golf course. You were catering for about 270 of us air traffic controllers but continued to run out of alcohol. Also you had sometimes only 1 person serving with big queues.

Stayed as part of ECGC2018. The hotel bar was unable to cope with so many people, running out of draught beer every evening. The second bed in a twin room, the sofa bed, was not up to the standard required from a hotel like this. The meal on the final night was very good. Top quality for a meal served to over 200 people.

« The hotel staff were pleasant, my room and the common areas (restaurant, lobby etc.) were very clean and the breakfast buffet was just perfect. »

It was a very pleasant experience. As mentioned, cleanliness of the common areas and most importantly my room are very important to me. My bed was also very comfortable and each day my room was cleaned and proper upon my return.
