Second time at the Novotel Milano Linate. Room very nice, sofa and bed comfy. Just had some issues in switching on the tv, after the first day it did not work anymore..and in the night there was noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom.

My stay could have been much better with a lower room temperature. It was by far too hot in the room and I had to switch off the heating system + open the window to be able to sleep. Even so, it was hard to lower the temperature down to an acceptable level. For the rest the hotel is very good.

I really like the hotel with good modern rooms and a nice environment in the reception/restaurant area. Great ground floor area, good for meetings, aperitiv and also nice restaurant area. Only the service seems to be a bit disorganized.

Everything was great until the morning of my departure. Breakfast was scheduled to finish at 9:30. However, I went to breakfast at 9:00 and was told I could not have fried eggs as the kitchen was closed and only scrambled eggs were available. On checking the server there was no scrambled eggs left! Not an acceptable situation having paid!

Pleasant stay, helpful, smiling staff-clean, comfortable room with all the amenities available- good quality buffet breakfast , excellent restaurant. Excercise room available and outdoor pool - it would have been nice if there had been a sauna and possibly massage... On the whole, very positive experience- will definitely stay again.

« Some good things and some very poor things. »

Difficulty accessing shuttle bus- no signage at airport. Website implied regular bus, but had to ring to get it. Checkin was appalling- arrogant, uninterested and unhelpful. Inflexibility with shuttle bus compounded due to our early flight next day- given alternative of bus at 5.30AM or told to get €20 taxi. We were only people on shuttle bus in the morning and even then it left a few minutes late. Simply not good enough for an AIRPORT hotel- proximity to airport and shuttle availability was why we stayed there. Room aircon not working- had to open window as room was so uncomfortably stuffy- then a lot of noise. Only bright spot in hotel was evening bistro meal with excellent friendly helpful staff.

We are very sorry to read what you reported in a so detailed way and to know that your perceptions of our hotel did not coincide with those we actually want to convey and leave our guests. We are sorry for the inconvenience you may have encountered for the shuttle bus service. If you had contacted the hotel, we would have informed you that our bus service is on request and has a fixed time table that cover a large time slot to ensure our customers take their flights. The hotel has an air conditioning and central heating system that can not operate simultaneously. At this time of year, heating is obviously working. There were days when the temperatures were a bit anomalous, but unfortunately it was not predictable.
