« Needs a renovation. »

Our Hotel room (320) apparently needs a renovation. The windows are not seal and it was extremely loud inside. Unfortunatelly our bathroom was not clean and our intervension at the reception desk didn´t help. Location of the hotel is really good (5 mins walking distance to metro station).

« Good apart from the meal on the last night »

Everything good apart from the evening meal on our last night. We dined with you every evening of our stay. Burgers were great until the Sunday evening. Three times we sent the Burgers back because all the Chef had done was cut little pieces of burger into each bun not one of the 4 Burgers were whole very annoying as we had invited guests over telling them how great the food had been on the previous nights. We gave up sending them back in the end because there was no improvement in the quality. Two other tables also complained and one of the tables then decided to have Pizza when they arrived the Pizza was not even cooked and they also gave up complaining. We stay at times at the Grand central Ibis and yours but will never dine with you again.

« Excellent, but squeeking was unnerving and shower is a misconstruction »

The room, the staff, everything was great. We especially liked, that staff were very generous in i.e. allowing us to take coffee from the breakfast buffet up to the room, or opening a bottle of wine from the outside for us - thats very special and not common. We found the squeeking a problem: The right kitchen door closes slowly, and while doing so squeeks so loudly, we heard it in our room 119. Additionally the toilet cover squeeked just as bad. We found the shower to be a sheer misconstruction: The shower head is mounted so low, that I had to bend down to wash my hair. While doing that, I always stepped on the water outlet, which then would close, and the water would start to rise in the bathtub. And since the shower heads hold is very loose, and the water hose is not mounted straight, the shower head would always turn either to the right or to the left - and when it turned to the left, water would sip through the separator panes base, and form a puddle on the bathroom floor.

« Good Quality price relationship »

Clean, renovated and efficient. Good quality price/relationship. It just needs a couple of points to improve. Your brand Ibis is a good brand and it delivers what I expect. They are minor and please know that they will not affect my decision to stay. I will certainly come back. But I will try to explain with detail. a) Towels are very worn off. b) Breakfast is not well organized. Just when I arrived, before me, there were 5 people asking for a breakfast that was not buffet. The person tells me (and the people behind me) to wait until she serves them. Logically this is a lot of time: It is not a cup of coffee. It is that one asks for a toast and a marmalade, another for something different, you name it. Anyway, 08:15 and I am waiting 10 minutes in line. I had prepayed breakfast and I decided to pay Buffet (which means that I would serve myself and you don't need anyone for me except checking my room number and putting my a coffee). In summary, I am a good "customer" of you and I am penalized by people that need a "special order". I decided to stop waiting, go inside (nobody asked my my number) and have breakfast without coffee because the woman there is busy serving people that decided not to do the efficient thing. Are you sure you want these "customers" that decide not to go with the flow? Shouldn't be them the ones to be penalized through price and time and be served in the very end? I hope this helps. « Still getting the small things wrong »

The hotel was incredibly noisy during the night with no one interested in trying to calm things down. On our first night in the hotel after waiting in reception for 10 mins waiting for a member of staff, I asked for an extra pillow to be flatly told "No" before the lady left again for the bar leaving me standing there!

The room met almost all my ecpectations. Confortable bed and a clean room and bathroom. My only two recomendations would be to get a better TV with more internacional channels. I dont speak italian and it was almost impossible to watch tv at night during bedtime. The tv set could also be a bit more modern. We had dinner one evening and it did not meet my expectations at all. A lasagna that seemed to be precooked and microwaved. Very far from the delicious food I've tasted before in Italy. Other than that we had a ver good time and people at the reception were very kind. I hope you take this recomendations since I plan on staying at Ibis hotels in the near future. Thank you. « Could be better! »

The Receptionist is non engaging. She is rushing and dismissive. The room is non smoking but stinks because of smoke (obviously the one who stayed before was smoking) and it gave us headache. When we can't stand the smell I went down to tell the Reception but she just dismissed my complain and said, "it is a non smoking room". We woke up at 2:00am and my wife was feeling sick because of the smoke, so I went down AGAIN and this time the night duty gave me another room. Then we started feeling better. The breakfast was a let down as the food doesn't get refiiled. Overall, we just can't wait until we leave.

« Felt welcomed for the 1at time »

For the 1st time after being in this hotel at least 7 times, I felt really welcomed. The lady on the reception payed 100% attention to me during the process of check-in; she was not in a hurry; when I told her last time the room had a bad internet connection, she found where I was last time and placed me far from it; she found in the system my previous invoice, so she could repeat it; she gave me a list of cultural events in the city, as she read in my profile that I was curious about them. Well done!

« Decent hotel in relatively quiet location with easy access to the tube and tram. »

The welcome was a bit cold but after having checked in online we paid and went to our two rooms which were as requested one twin and one double, interconnected. Decent size rooms overlooking the front yard so bit of noise from guests coming and going with rolling suitcases but decent sleep on good mattresses. Rooms were quite warm with heating fully off so could be quite hot in summer. Not sure if the wall unit works as an air con. Curtain panels plus black out blind on window. T.V. and telephone in rooms but no tea/coffee facilities which was a let down! Bathroom with good shower over bath. All in one soap/shampoo/body wash dispenser provided plus hair dryer. We didn't try the b.fast, going instead to the bakeries, grocery shop and cafe across the road. The one time we tried the restaurant it was full with a coach party so were turned away in a bit of a cold manner. Overall quite a good stay but improvement to the 'accueil' would be appreciated!

« Reasonably priced & clean hotel in north Milan. »

The hotel was a typical Ibis, comfortable bed, enough storage, & close to transportation. The only issue was there was only one power outlet & for some reason the area is very noisy at night. Could barely sleep because of the noise. There was a loud leaf blower noise from midnight to 4am (couldn’t sleep) & then next night I could hear people outside talking/drinking until 3am. Maybe find room facing another direction? I could not sleep.
