« it was great »

our stay was great. the room was small, but cosy, staff was very helpful.Breakfast was very delicious. The city centre is about 40 min a walk and 10 by the subway. We recommend the hotel and the location.

Although is about 45 minutes from city center is a nice hotel. I had reserved a late checkout that I did not use, and at the end, they charged me and I didn´t even notice.... that´s the only thing I did not like.

« Out of the Downtown but close to Subway station »

Very good hotel, room at Ibis style, 5 minutes walking to Ca Granda subway station or we could take a tram near to the station. Very neighborhood area, we can find, supermarkets, drugstores and others facilities. Very helpful staff.

« The hotel had all I needed during my stay, a comfortable bed and a simple restaurant where I could get a light evening meal. »

The hotel lived up to my expectations. The price was a little bit more expensive than I am used to compared with other Ibis hotels I have stayed in.

« Okay experience, but not much sleep. »

I would describe my experience here as okay. --The room: It's a standard ibis room, so in my opinion good for this price point, nice bed and normal bathroom. Also they come to refresh/clean your bedlinnen and towels everyday.(you have the choice to use it for a few days of course). --First of all, when you check in online you get the option to tell what time you arrive, so I chose <12 am; then I got an pop-up that my key would be waiting for me at that time. Well when I show up to the hotel and I tell them this l, this was their response: 'you can check in early for 15€'. Not how it's supposed to go I believe... --Then the next thing: we were next to the 'piazza' on the 3rd floor, so every night a lot of teens hanging around 5-10meters away from the hotel shouting and talking loud with a lot of music and dogs from 2130 to 24…h; when I call reception about this every night their response was that they couldn't do anything as this was a public place and what not, so our sleep was not very good during our stay here. **Also the windows are a bit thin so you hear everything a little louder. --The breakfast was good, depending on who's in charge of breakfast and what time you go you can get a clean table(best time around 7.40-8.45. --The restaurant is also good, and had some nice hamburgers here. The only down point was that the pizza had to much mozzarella on it and that the cheese was cold.

Contra: many pepole gather in park behid hotel drinkinkg and yelling late into night, making too much noise. Towels shoud be renewed. Windows are dirty. Pro: good location, standard Ibis setup, professional personel.

Good hotel premises, situated on a good neighborhood with facilities near by. Excelent public transport connections with a tram at the hotel corner and metro 2 blocks away. One thing I found deficient was the breakfast variety. For 9,90 EUR I have seen much more variety on several Ibis Budget brands that I have stayed throughout Europe and Brazil. And I am talking about budget brands... Correct me if I am wrong, but I have not seen yougurt at the breakfast buffet. Another downside was not a warn reception during check-in. I did not receive a &quot;good afternoon sir, welcome to ibis ca granda. How can I help you&quot;. The clerkswoman was at the computer and did not seem bothered by my presence until I called her attention. There was a remaining 64 eur balance to pay, I gave her 100 eur bill and got only 26 eur change. I had to call her attentio again because of missing 10 eur bill. I think the front desk deserves a warm reception.

when we get into reception hall we was waiting about 15 minuts for recepcion staff. not enough number of employees at breakfast- all the time was dirty dishes on almost all restaurant tables. room was fine, standart of bed and bathroom as well.

« Needs a renovation. »

Our Hotel room (320) apparently needs a renovation. The windows are not seal and it was extremely loud inside. Unfortunatelly our bathroom was not clean and our intervension at the reception desk didn´t help. Location of the hotel is really good (5 mins walking distance to metro station).

« Good apart from the meal on the last night »

Everything good apart from the evening meal on our last night. We dined with you every evening of our stay. Burgers were great until the Sunday evening. Three times we sent the Burgers back because all the Chef had done was cut little pieces of burger into each bun not one of the 4 Burgers were whole very annoying as we had invited guests over telling them how great the food had been on the previous nights. We gave up sending them back in the end because there was no improvement in the quality. Two other tables also complained and one of the tables then decided to have Pizza when they arrived the Pizza was not even cooked and they also gave up complaining. We stay at times at the Grand central Ibis and yours but will never dine with you again.
