We had assigned a really small room. I asked to be upgraded (paying, of course) but they answered that executive rooms was as large as the one we had (impossible, I know very well Novotel and we were in a executive suite just a week before). Bad small in the room. Not a 4 stars hotel, in our opinioni.

the hotel and personell are ok but due to hollidays, the hotel was crowded with children making lot of noise, running, wasting food etc

Had a dreadful experience with an extremely rude and discourteous staff member at check in. I travel considerably with me work and have asked that I no longer be booked into a Novotel as a result. Extremely disappointed and I will share my experience with my work colleagues and encourage them to stay elsewhere as a result also. Unhelpful, arrogant & probably worst experience I’ve had in years.

This is our second time at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it - it was certainly a stark contrast to the experience we had had just the night before at a different hotel. The staff were amazing, it was wonderful to have such professionals who are great at interactions and ready to answer any questions. The room was very spacious, perfect for our family of four, it was very clean, had little details that made it that much more pleasant (a kettle, some tea, a fridge), and of course the view from the 18th floor was pretty spectacular. Nothing but good things to say. Breakfast was so good! Waffles, fresh fruit, a tasty fish dish (still don't know the name but it's stuck with me) and lots of pastries. In addition, the kids little playroom is a godsend when you need a couple of minutes of calm and personally I love the location - calm area, a supermarket not too far and if you're using public transport there's a tram stop, a bus stop and metro station all with walking distance (about 8-15 mins depending on your pace). All in all, I would definitely recommend. And considering the location and everything I think next time we will just s. there and go to other cities - at least we will have a welcoming place to come back to for the night (I do wish breakfast was a bit less pricey...). Hotel was too far from city as we are touring Europe without a car. Waiters covering the evening meal did not attend to us well. Head chef was good.Meal was of a good standard.

This was a great experience from booking and actually getting a room as described, to the quality of the accommodations, to the excellent restaurant, to the final checkout. The staff at the front desk was very helpful with local information and recommendations. They also were great with a lot of questions we had which were probably stupid, but they answered with care and obvious effort to make us feel welcome. This was definitely 5 star treatment at what is probably a 4 star hotel. (4 stars just based on price, 5 star places are usually more expensive). I will definitely recommend Novotel to others and put it in my first chocies of places th stay in the future.

Missing toiletry items and peeling room wall.

The room wall between the bed and bathroom wall paint was peeling and molding was occurring. I am not sure it was safe to stay in the room. Toiletry items that were not included was lotion and hair conditioner. The bathroom tub was also meldewing at the bottom.
