To stay only one night for Business it was ok. However, for a 4 star hotel I would expect that the shower gel holder is filled up and the toilet paper holder is checked and working. I was not able to make it work. When I arrived the person at the reception did even not stand up and was sitting on a chair behind the desk. I was only asked for my name and they would not even ask for an identification document. Also there was no information on the breakfast hours neither from the person at the reception nor could I find some info in the room. When I went for breakfast (at 06.30h) no staff was there to check for the guests nor there was a control. I was asked when checking out if I had breakfast as it was extra cost and I was honest and said yes that I had breakfast. However, I could have easily said no and have it for free. The coffee machine showed an error message and I reported it to a staff person working there. However, after 15 minutes when I left the machine was not repaired. I am aware that there are different levels of quality in the different countries and also due to the Women Football World Championship the hotels in Lyon were almost fully booked, but for a 4 star hotel the quality has to be better. This is the time where you can do promotion for the hotel.

The room was not clean, it smelt as it had not been open for months. Towels have been changed even though they were on the holders (not in line with environmental communication displayed in the room) Air conditioning not properly set for a duplex room

Rooms definitely in need of revamped , specially the appartements. Can’t believe some rooms are allowed to be for smokers : smell filters to lobby on 2nd floor Staff in restaurant very friendly, could be improved at reception.

Full of small thing that makes the whole experience not wanting to come again again. Breakfast was the only thing where everything went well. When I came back to my room on the following day still had the glass of mojito from the night before. Dining table we got served our meal prior to any drinks! Got a commercial gesture however not professional at all. With 35 degrees heat you expect a cold drink first! The fries coming with meal were cold ... Staff partying in the swimming pool after 11pm - even at time of bill the morning receptionist was not professional - and my colleague that asked to swap room the following day due to the size of it and smell inside was told by the receptionist on following day shift that he was not aware... well overall a bad experience

Stayed multiple times, just off the motorway heading to Frejus Tunnel for onward travel to Tuscany in Italy. Friendly hotel with good amenities and comfy rooms. When travelling with our two labrador's the duplex rooms are perfect.

I am traveling for work all the time and this is one of the worst hotels I am staying in. The restaurant this week was so full because additional tables in the atrium were used to store plates and dishes for conference. At the end there was no space to sit down and have breakfast. No vegetables for breakfast. I order a burger at the bar and after one piece I left the rest because it was so awful. Another day lasagne was defrost in microwave and it was still freezing cold inside. I hope there will be another hotel build around the Vilage and I will not need to stay here again.

We have stayed several times because of convenience. However on this occasion we had cold showers and interconnecting rooms with one being used as a smokers room - which is frankly a ridiculous arrangement for interconnecting rooms. We commented to the staff in the morning but didn’t complain when we first arrived as it was late and we were exhausted. However the room smelt and was unpleasant.

The hotel needs renovation. If you are going to send guests OUTSIDE to a "guest apartment" you must let them know in advance that they will be climbing stairs and walking outdoors. The hotel had no hot water for a morning shower, and when I called the front desk I was expecting a reply such as "Oh Mr. K., we are so sorry. Let us offer you a discount on your stay" or something like that. Instead I received a rude reply and was told I could shower in the main building. Food at restaurant is wonderful, and afternoon check-in staff were lovely.

Friendly hotel with good common areas, lively restaurants and attentive staff. Easy access to routes south. In the main hotel the rooms are shabby and tired. Very clean but things not working or in need of upgrading/ replacing. Eg. shower ledge fell off, carpet dirty

The breakfast service at the morning was far away from being good. Only one forth of the restaurant was used but the staff didn't make it to refresh the food. The internet connection interrupts every 30 to 60 min the connection. This is terrible and a no-go for a hotel like the Mercure. If the ineternet connection doesn't work I would never come back again.

For the shuttle bus, in fact, we can only arrange that if you reserve in advance and it's depending on availability because it's the receptionnist made this service and if they have more departure or more arrivals or alone at the desk, they cannot ensure the transfert but they can reserve a taxi for the guests. In the future, we want you to have a special driver for the shuttle to ensure the guests' request for a transfer but for the moment we had to see before if it's necessary or not.
