staff service is excellent. Rafik at reception is always very welcoming and this trip he went out of his way to help me personally. In addition the bar staff including Micheal and the head maitre d' always provide top quality service.

We have stayed several times because of convenience. However on this occasion we had cold showers and interconnecting rooms with one being used as a smokers room - which is frankly a ridiculous arrangement for interconnecting rooms. We commented to the staff in the morning but didn’t complain when we first arrived as it was late and we were exhausted. However the room smelt and was unpleasant.

The hotel needs renovation. If you are going to send guests OUTSIDE to a "guest apartment" you must let them know in advance that they will be climbing stairs and walking outdoors. The hotel had no hot water for a morning shower, and when I called the front desk I was expecting a reply such as "Oh Mr. K., we are so sorry. Let us offer you a discount on your stay" or something like that. Instead I received a rude reply and was told I could shower in the main building. Food at restaurant is wonderful, and afternoon check-in staff were lovely.

Friendly hotel with good common areas, lively restaurants and attentive staff. Easy access to routes south. In the main hotel the rooms are shabby and tired. Very clean but things not working or in need of upgrading/ replacing. Eg. shower ledge fell off, carpet dirty

The breakfast service at the morning was far away from being good. Only one forth of the restaurant was used but the staff didn't make it to refresh the food. The internet connection interrupts every 30 to 60 min the connection. This is terrible and a no-go for a hotel like the Mercure. If the ineternet connection doesn't work I would never come back again.

In the future, we want you to have a special driver for the shuttle to ensure the guests' request for a transfer but for the moment we had to see before if it's necessary or not. Brilliant staff. Staff are lovely - reception lady very bright and welcoming. Security lady with dog very nice and down to earth. Breakfast ladies very nice warm friendly personalities. The hotel itself ( we stayed in one of the out building apartments) is what it is needs major cash injection but because of location and economics can see why it may not be viable. The lovely staff make up for it and the food and presentation is very good. Kids had a great time in the pool and jacuzzi and loved the breakfast choice, everything freshly prepared. Overall a nice experience and good value for money stay.

This was my second time at your hotel. I stayed in the barrack outside and I have to say it was quite a different experience, definitely not a 4 star one. The room is very small and in bad condition. The furniture and the carpet is very old, smells bad. There were spin webs everywhere, the windows were so dirty that it was not possible to see outside. Sorry to say this but I had the feeling that I was staying in a highway motel and not in a Mercure chain hotel.

The staff were lovely but the towel rail fell off the toilet roll dispenser jammed so we could not access toilet roll. The coffee dispenser at breakfast gave you hot chocolate when you pressed the cappuccino button. The worst was the key not working such that the staff had to first change batteries and when this didn’t work get an auxiliary machine so we could access the room, we awoke early to miss the traffic and not being able to access the room caused considerable delay. We were in the hotel for just over 12 hours for all this to happen.

The hotel is nice but I am almost certain that the food I got delivered in the room Tuesday night was not good. I spend the entire Wednesday in bed with bad stomach and had to delay my departure with one day as I was unable to get up. It was the only food I had that day so I am certain about the source and it started 10 hours after my meal.

I got as I expected almost.

The staff of the reception was really kind and very helpful in every cases. Thank you again. The food at the New Sunset Bar was lower quality that I experienced before, in January for example. The staff was not so polite and always on hurry. That was I personal feeling on three cases during my stay and dinners. The general cleanness of my studio was lower as I seen in the past. I found spider webs on several places, suspicious spots in the bathroom and dust as the result of lack of accuracy.
