« Hotel was filthy -car park charges were excessive- receptionist was harrassed and unhelpful. Disgrace. »

One of the worst hotel stays I have encountered in several years - will definitely never stay at Novotel again - and will ensure I tell everyone to avoid. I have given a 2 above as the only positive point was the breakfast which was merely ok rather than exceptional as I had been led to believe by some travel sites. Next time I'll pay the extra few pounds and choose a clean and friendly hotel -with no hidden charges and a decent car park.

« Not according to my expectation »

Breakfast very good, facilities is good like swimming & sauna. However very disappointed with size of rooms very small and Hotel itself I feel like building is very old, hotel carpet looks old being 3 Star hotel my expectations with Novotel gone down I feel like budget hotel 2 star got better quality. We booked 5 rooms and I feel like I wasted my money I could have stayed example Travel Lodge for less or Hilton for bit more.

Disappointed , the bed lining was stained, the carpets marked in a variety of places in room and the Restrauant floor was dirty. Other guest had left dog in room which barked for hours. Staff were all pleasant .

This hotel was very basic, room ok , breakfast ok but like warm , fitness room was so small we couldn’t use it as only 3 in at a time , disappointed

« Food service was awful. »

Understaffed breakfast service, therefore no tea or coffee, tables not cleared and only half made up, food items all empty, juices empty. We waited half an hour on a table being cleared, and we're still waiting. Hotel is totally run down in general, carpets needing replaced, swimming pool area needing re-tiled. Outside areas need power washed. £6 per night for your car, disgrace!

Room was clean and tidy as always , pool had plenty towels . Only downside to this hotel is the hotel food menu isn't bug enough or have enough options, especially if you are here a few nights . That being said there is a tobys right next door.

« Very Good Stay With A couple of Glitches »

My stay was very enjoyable however there was a problem with the draught drinks on the night time. There was unfortunately no gas left to power the pumps and therefore more expensive bottled lager/cider had to be purchased.

Reception good, as was corporate support. Dining experience on Wednesday evening awful. Waited over an hour for an omelette, a pizza, sandwich and a salad. No communication from staff and even had to go to reception to try and pay. Had drinks order added to our bill that wasn't ours which took even longer to sort out.

« Perfect for an overnight stop »

We have stayed in this hotel quite a few times, it’s comfortable probably getting a bit tired however the price we paid was very good. Staff, breakfast and bar area very good. The pool area is disappointing and because it’s more a leisure pool it could be significantly warmer and the changing room is not great.

The room, service and food were good as usual. However the outside area was littered with cigarette ends as the wall receptacle was broken. There were hundreds of cigarette ends littering the entire area outside the entrance.

« very pleasant stay with all staff being very friendly »

the stay was as usual very pleasant.once again when i asked for de caf latte i was unable to get one and had to have a different style of coffee.food was excellent and the room was very comfortable.
