« Not as good as our last visit. »

The garden room was much to be desired, poor lighting, no air con and no windows to open. ( we could have left the door open but who knows what might have come in). The cleaners insisted on cleaning before 10am..........we were on holiday you know. Which the shabby wooden design of the room it didn't feel too clean anyway. Our last stay was in the main building and was much better. Bar staff ignored us as soon as they knew we were English and had little time for our broken French, an attitude which resulted in us not going for drinks in the bar, instead either going into Dinard or drinking in our room. The food was good and the location excellent.

An amazing location, with a relaxed vibe. Great rooms. Stunning views. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location with a short walk into a lovely little village with great restaurants.. The spa is an ideal place to relax and unwind.

« Wonderfull location »

Location is wonderful, breakfast is very good, all public spaces are very warm and welcoming. Rooms (we had a superior room , ground floor, seaside) are too small (for three people ) and are 3 * business rooms rather than 4* star holiday rooms (cheap materials, messy painting work,..).

Nice room and good facilities in them. Loved that it was a short walk into Dinard and lovely coastal walks! The only thing: if you are going to have a games room the games need to be in better condition. Only a small thing-didn't affect our enjoyment particularly.

Great location, overlooking the sea. Lovely spa facilities. Nice breakfast area and terrace. Room was disappointing, as the furniture and decoration look "cheap". Rooms should be nicer for this type/price of hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Very impressed with the breakfast at Osens, excellent choices to suit everyone. Stunning sea view. Was able to have a wheelchair for the duration of the holiday, as our room was a long way from reception and I am on crutches. However there was a matter of a white plastic bag of laundry containing worn underwear that, we think, may have been mistaken for rubbish as was not in our room when we returned later. We did report it missing to reception late on 10th August and followed it the next morning. As we were leaving on 11th August, there was really no time to sort it out. Our room number was 740. We have tried emailing you but we haven't had a response. I have had to go and replace my laundry and it has cost me £40. We would love to hear from you.

« Mostly positive in spite of several hiccups »

the driver who was meant to pick me up wasn't there and it took several phone calls to the reception for him to materialise and when he did he had a passenger in the car to whom he explained the whole lay of the land and ignored me totally. Very rude indeed! I was rather disappointed with the room as I was guaranteed a full view of the sea...It took a few days to get the "right breakfast" in my room. Three out of the dinner were not acceptable. I do not eat meat therefore I had the fish it was at time overcooked small portions huffed under lots of vegetable poorly presented. Twice it took tooooo long for the courses to be brought and though I came for the first service I was still waiting to be brought she of the courses when the second service was being served... Often I was made to feel that I wasn't a valued customer

« Luxurious, we've been camping for two weeks previously! »

Great staff, great location, nice and quiet. More organic and gluten free at breakfast please. Also nuts and seeds. Many people are vegan!

First time at this hotel very impressed. Lovely Standard Room on the seaside with glorious view across to St Malo. No issues at all during our stay. Great breakfast with restaurant overlooking the sea. Will definitely stay here again. Rules in the swiingredients pool are quite strict and bathing caps are mandatory for all.

Good but I would expect more for the price paid. Overall good service but not enough staff at breakfast (too much waiting for tables to be cleared) , not enough car parking space and air-conditioning could be better too. However the overall impression was positive.

« Enjoyable beach holiday »

The hotel has stunning views of the English Channel with easy access via a staircase to the beach. All of the staff we pleasant and helpful. We stayed one night in a garden room and one night in a sea view room. Both were very nice. My only complaint is the hallways by the sea view room smelled like sweaty towels.

nice premise; very impressive location; very friendly staff; very good breakfirst to be considered: room 216 doesn`t fulfil expectation for a >250 Euro/night-stay no curtain for shower; hair dryer only to be used from toilet area air condition with permanent strong wind and noise are not acceptable deficite was thankfully solved by friendly and supportive staff after 1 night nice Swimming pool; questionable whether use of pool equipment like sub-water Biking justifies additional fee

« A great location and superb views from the restaurant and bar »

An enjoyable stay. Check in was efficient and very friendly staff. Restaurant service was good and meals were very good. Only downside was on the day of our departure when we had specifically asked for an early breakfast the day before at reception( only coffee and bread / pastries ) before the restaurant opened and a note was made but when we turned up on the morning of departure - we were advised that this was not possible. We were eventually given some bread and were told the Nespresso coffee machine would work and were left to it but no milk was provided.

Breakfast not very good :jams from Bonne maman jars, no fried eggs on demand, no salmon. Oysters in the morning ?! Everything else nice except the hamman which needs some remodeling : bad smell and a lot of rotten places

« Great location and calm »

Excellent service, great breakfast choices. Lovely view over the sea. Room very well appointed, including kitchenette. Unfortunately, it was very hard to sleep due to the heat and the fact that only quilts were provided, instead of sheets and blankets. Since bettering my sleep through thalassotherapy treatments was the focus of the stay, it partly ruined the visit. I became sick after we left. The restaurant should improve its choices for dinner, and systematically include light food with lots of vegetables for demi-pension. Meals were very appealing in looks, but many were heavy, and hors-d’oeuvres in particular seemed to usually include whipped cream in some form. I had lived my first stay 23 years ago, and although I appreciated many features of my stay, I would not go back under the same conditions as this year.
