Comfortable room in the city centre, overlooking the river. The breakfast was good, as were the staff who were professional and friendly, the only downside was the lack of parking available.

The hotel entrance on a narrow side street leads to a combined bar and reception area that is not welcoming. The receptionist was pleasant but the overall feeling was being in an office building rather than a hotel. The room was small, perhaps made more so by a large bed. The shower room was also very compact. There is a feeling that the whole decor is tired and needs modernising particularly the curtains that were broken. That said, the room was quiet, warm and clean and the bed comfortable and having spent 13 hours in a car driving from UK it was adequate. Unfortunately when the next journey is planned we will choose another hotel.

The area around the hotel is a total disaster area as far as food goes the only choice is Mac donalds Flunch or a Buffulo Restaurant, not a great choice.The hotel no longer has a restaurant ,pity it was quite good 2 years ago now the restaurant furniture is horrid.

ITs a standard IBIS offer, with a decent breakfast and comfortable beds in a good location. The parking was a bit difficult to navigate but more than adequate.

Room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The main issue was that the bar menu which was advertised in the room, communal areas and outside the hotel was not available.

Service was good and breakfast value for money. Only stopped here halfway through a long journey but did not find much to attract us back to Montlucon. Had difficulty finding somewhere to eat the the hotel on a Friday night.

Ibis could improve their general signposting to hotels. They are few and far between and not prominent. Montluçon hotel is tired, rooms are small but adequate. BBC World news advertised but said not available. It is available in other Ibis hotels. Staff helpful

Only the room was clean - the rest of the hotel was tired and shabby. I suggest that a senior manager takes a look at the office - a rubbish tip. No air conditioning available - management decided that summer doesn't start until 1st June

Easy to find, good location for walking in the town Good secure parking at very reasonable cost.
