Checking in online is very easy, key waiting for you on arrival. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a mixture of things with something for everyone, a very good start to the day.

The experience was brilliant and both myself and my mum had an enjoyable time at the Ibis. The room was clean and comfy and we even had a sea view! The shower was very hot and powerful and the overall layout of the bathroom was decent. The breakfast was brilliant value and we loved the egg timer! The breakfast had all sorts and I wish we weren't in a rush to leave as it would have been nice to sit there for longer. The only thing that was annoying was we could hear the lift operating all throughout the day and night. The lift must be very old as it was incredibly noisy!

I spent two nights in the Ibis which had changed from the last time I remembered it. It was very nicely set-out and there were almost no complaints on my part, except that parking could have been a little more convenient. Internally, it was ideal.

Our room was very good, with lovely bedding and pillows - so a choice to suit sleeping preference! - the shower and wc were excellent, so no problems there either. We have stayed at the Roscoff Ibis on previous occasions, and have been more than satisfied with both the accommodation and the excellent buffet breakfast.

We like where the hotel is, the staff are friendly the room is warm and clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are excellent, and quite reasonable. it is easy walking distance to numerous restaurants and close to the sea, the chance to go to the Isle D'Batz, a train trip to Morlaix and so close to amazing places.

Celine always welcomes us like old friends and even recognises our voice if we reserve on the telephone, very special. Recently we have met Hazel who is also charming and helpful. Obviously the hotel is situated beautifully in Roscoff but really what makes a stay there exceptional is the knowledge that one will be greeted and treated beautifully. Thank you.

« Always a great stop over »

Always lovely from the comfortable bed and super clean bed linen. Bathroom nice and clean, room warm and cosy. Welcome at Reception very pleasant. Young man helped us by phoning to check if a restaurant was open and making a reservation for us. Breakfast is consistently good with a nice variety of options and good orange juice and coffee. We were even able to park right outside the door. Voila a bonus. Merci

« Absence of English TV news channel is a drawback to an otherwise good hotel »

The hotel should contact TomTom and get them to correct their SatNav map. TomTom thinks that the hotel entrance is on the seaward side of the hotel, and the system directs users to drive up the impasse on the left of the hotel, where reversing out without damaging the car would be very difficult. Fortunately I did not like the look of the (im)passage so I got out and had a look. It was ten that I saw that I had driven past the front entrance. The staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi worked properly. However, there was one night when I requested a snack from the night porter, and the hotel was out of stock of the exact item that I wanted. (the assorted cheeses). There is a woeful lack of shelf space in Ibis Rouge bathrooms. Accor could easily fix this. Because of the restricted shelf and wardrobe space, I would not use Ibis Rouge if I was travelling as a couple.

Solo travel - 23/12/2017
« No english TV news channel »

I usually consider that Ibis hotel rooms are too cramped. Accor could alleviate this problem by installing shelf space particularly in the bathroom.. However, on this occasion I got a bit lucky. They gave me room 108 which is at the end of the corridor, where there was a cavity which permitted part of the bathroom to fit into the cavity. Consequently the bedroom benefited with extra space. I suspect that this might apply to all rooms ending with 08 but I cannot say for sure. The room had a nice seaview, but it looked a bit ungly when the tide was out. In low season, there is free parking in all the blue spaces, although sometimes you might have to park in a different street to the hotel. There was no English language news channel. BBC World News appeared in the TV menu but thee was no signal. They did have 2 English business channels, CNBC and Bloomberg. I would have preferred BBC World News in place of Bloomberg. I think that absence of an English news channel is a serious detriment if the hotel wants UK or American customers. The explanation I got from the hotel was that the availability of channels was determined by their satellite provider, and they could do nothing. However either the hotel or their TV provider is at serious fault. I would gave been happy with the English version of France 24. The French version of this channel was available, so I don't understand why the English version could not be provided. The hotel was clean, and staff were as friendly and helpful as they could be. Roscoff is a nice quiet town in which to wind down, even in winter. If you come by car, and you are using a TomTom satnav, be aware that TomTom seems to think that the entrance to the hotel is facing the sea. If you were to follow TomTom's directions, you would drive past the hotel and turn right into a narrow blind alley from which it would be very difficult to reverse out, without damaging your car. Fortunately, I didn't like the look of the passage, so I got out to take a look at it, and realised that TomTom was screwing up.

Brilliant Ibis hotel in Roscoff. The staff are excellent they are very professional and look after us like we were Royalty! I never try too book other hotels in Roscoff,as I know they cant compare never mind compete with Roscoff Bord de Mer.
